The hike is mid level (moderate), there's a hard part somewhat at the beginning and at the end, veggie the camp. The rest is easy. The views of the other mountains and the valley and plains are impressive, very good, totally recommendable. There is also a swing at the camp. The first half of the trail is basically rock climbing and quite dangerous. Coming down is very hard. It would have been more enjoyable if the whole entire time up and down there wasn't 6 different (we counted) mosques blasting music. A nice peaceful hike ruined in my opinion with 2 hours of mosque music which you cannot avoid. We climbed down after half way because of this and left. The views are amazing but I'm not sure it's worth the rock climbing and music.

One of my memorable day was hiking to Pergasingan Hills. It was awfully awesome and deadly for me in personal. I was shocked and felt dizzy right after 30 minutes hike. I almost passed out and lost control. Luckily I was with my friends and they gave me more than support till we reached the top. That was amazing and incredibly stunning to witness sunset on top. Short hike with an amazing view. The entrance is easy to find (search map for starting point). It took us about 1.5hr to the summit. Its rather steep at some points so although you don't need to be fit to do it ypu need to be careful especially when coming down as it can be slippery. Very nice view on top on the ricefields and to the sea and only few people on the summit. A guide is denfinitely not needed if you dont plan to soend the night there.

The hike up was challenging and not what I would consider a nice trek. Very steep uphill the entire way, it’s quite a scramble at the beginning. It had rained the day before which made it harder. I’d say it’s best to go early in the morning. The fog rolled in mid day so we couldn’t see the view from the top at all (but when visible I’m sure it’s nice). Small fee ya the beginning of the trek when you pass the ticket office. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes!
