Stayed here for 2 nights, good size room.Few things irritated me was when I was check in,the receptionist was not that friendly,he seems like doesn't want to served me, didn't make any eye contact or explain where our room was.and he was on the phone while talking to me. Few hours after that ,he served the best service to a gentleman who dressed like a wealthy man,very sad to see an attitude like that where we should treat people the same no matter what they look like or their status.I have been travelling around the world,fridge wasn't cold and has lots of mould inside,I also don't really like all cutlery was cover with plastic,better use paper wrap or recycle paper to protect the environment,lots of staff just chating,do nothing while one or 2 staff working hard cleaning up .Won't come back.Lots another nice hotel provide better service and respect each other.

***UPDATED*** I reviewed this hotel 3 years ago before COVID-19 struck the world so I had no idea what to expect on my return. My original review is still the most accurate description. What can I say about staying here…The staff is friendly and accommodating (I am always greeted by Windy who is one of the best specialists there). The food is delicious and well prepared. My room was clean and well maintained. I had transport anywhere I needed to go through the services provided through Pak Noel and NY Trans tours in the lobby of the hotel. The spa is great and very professional and all of the staff (especially Tian) does a great job helping you to feel your best. I was even greater by the new head of Customer Relations, MellyBaiq…who has done an outstanding job with the entire hotel’s customer service care. If you are heading to Lombok, Golden Palace will do their best to meet all of your travel needs. I called the hotel Perfect before and that rating still stands…this is the PERFECT place to stay!!!!!

Good place for business trips. Wifi is fast. I just wished the TV would be a bit newer since I use the TV usually as second screen. I guess the TV is about 10 years old. And had a very poor resolution. The gym opening hours are a bit disturbing it's closed from 10am till 16pm so its not possible to do workout while lunch break. Compared to the hotels I know from bali it's a 5 out of 10 but for lombok it seems to be an good option what I heared from the locals. Beside of that it was quit fun for me to stay here as a westener - I felt like a colorful unicorn 🦄 😅

This is easily the worst stay I've ever had in my life. I'm even tired of filing complaints with the hotel regarding other guests who are very noisy both during the day and at night. The hotel staff did apologize but providing no real solution. I even spent 0 (zero) hours of sleeping on my wedding day due to loud noise from the next room and the floor above mine.

There were so many options for breakfast, from western menu to Asian and traditional Indonesian food. The room was comfy but the bathroom was not very clean.

Great dan comfortable hotel. I stayed for 4 night. At the center of Mataram city, we can go around with gocar/grab car. The breakfast also good, so many variations.

They have clean and spacious rooms. The best part was the breakfast, it was just amazing! Lot of choice (western and asian) and everything tasted sooo good.

Shampo and soap size too small and it just can be used for once that why better to provide us with bigger which is standard with other hotels then in the second day, i didn't get bath mat it make the floor little dirty after we took bath but overal all is good. I stayed here twice and overall everything is fine. I just haven't got a chance to try the swimming pool. During breakfast, they put the egg corner near the pool.

The room is nice clean and comfortable. It's big compared to other options and if you need to do a PCR or antigen test for your flight. The clinic is just 340m away with English speaking staff. Mall is 10 minutes drive.

Really like this hotel. Staff are lovely and the place is really clean and well kept. To me it's a 4.5 star. Value for money is excellent as is location. Definitely stay again.

Overall very nice hotel. Great view from the window! Fantastically clean and comfortable room. Pool good, breakfast not bad. Only two negatives: 2nd time I stayed, the reception staff at check in were terribly rude, one star would be generous. Second thing is that the celing/floor is very thin; so if there are kids running around upstairs, it’s noisy. I admit, this might not bother most people. The staff were very helpful and moved me to a quieter room at 23.30. Appreciated!
