We booked this hotel to spend a few days of our honeymoon. The external location is perfect, clean, surrounded by greenery. A beautiful location is not enough. I work in hotels, I know how they work, this unfortunately has bad management. The staff is not trained, not even on basic information. Completely disorganized. The room assigned to us was completely ruined, the service in the restaurant was terrible, the staff did not speak English. I was told that the spa is open 24 hours non-stop, I booked a massage at 10.45am and they almost sent me away telling me they were closing. Fake Italian restaurant, poor quality products and a pizza with frozen products and certainly not Italian. We asked for a cappuccino at breakfast and it was served to us after 20 minutes, the drink was not good and well made, honestly for the price they ask they should have staff who at least know how to prepare a cappuccino. Breakfast is closing at 11, at 10:40 everything is empty and if is finish you can’t eat anymore. We went to Indonesian restaurant they have just 1 waiter for all the restaurant his name is KETUT he was the best things in this hotel he give us the best service. But other things honestly no. We sat at the outside table on the beach, after 30 minutes no waiter who was present came to ask us if we wanted to order, perhaps they were too busy being on the phone. Honestly it was the poorest hotel of my entire honeymoon and I was also very disappointed by it.

This hotel is huge and spacious. Have direct access to beautiful Senggigi beach. Beach sceneries are awesome. Pools are great.

Can't say much of the rooms because I didn't stay at Merumata, but from what I've gathered from locals it's an older hotel which was refurbished. The hall/Ballroom was spacious and clean. But the ac couldn't keep up with the heat, particularly at noon. Location was good, it had a private beach but the waves were strong, particularly near the giant MERUMATA signage in the mini peninsula. Food was good, however as note the soap in the Ballroom toilet was perpetually empty. It had not been filled in the three days we were there for the convention

The beach lil bit crowded as its next to public beach where is the local selling the streets or local foods. I came here for the restaurant, they should change the cover of Resraurant's menu since its broken and some the inside page are wets that cause by water, however staff are friendly

The hotel was superbly nice, however when I stayed here, my knees was not in a good condition so it hurts a little to walk around (the hotel area was really biiig). The thing is, hotel staffs didn't seem to notice my condition (even though my knees were visibly bandaged) and they made me walk back and forth to the resto and lobby and room without even offering help to carry my luggage. Because of the lack of sensitivity, I gave 4 stars for service (otherwise than that the service were very good & friendly). Room was comfortable, clean, and cozy; only the door was quite hard to open and giving me hard times everytime I got out of room, so another 4 stars.

We only entered aiming the private beach and the restaurant, the drinks were pure sugar although we ordered juice and ice coffee but they were very bad so we couldn't drink them. We ordered pizza and also it wasn't good although prices are very expensive. We aimed the private beach however after we asked reception they said we can enter and order something from the restaurant however when we reached the restaurant we were forbidden to use the sunbeds unless we pay extra. The waves were very strong so no one could swim and we learned later that most of the time, you can't swim here because of that. It was a waste of time and money.

I enjoyed my stay here. My family and I booked the one of the pool club villas, and by all accounts it was a great room. Large and spacious with air conditioning. The welcome fruits were eaten very quickly as they tasted extremely fresh. The room was kept clean for the entire trip by the excellent cleaning staff. Please note however that there is no 3 pin plug sockets in the rooms, and no plug sockets at all near the bed. I had to ask reception to send one to me, which they did as quickly as they could. The layout of the hotel, although large and spread out is actually easy to get around by yourself. No need for the golf carts, unless you are moving your luggage. Some of the paths are cracked and broken but you should expect that for the area. The staff are amazing and are always trying to help you make the most of your stay. However, the villa I was in had no hot water. Not such and issue as we tend to only shower quickly. Even after reporting it we still didn't get any. Outside of the room by the pool there us a jacuzzi area. But it looked like it hadn't been used in ages, I do think the it just had some water damage which made it look unclean but still. The breakfast had a nice location, looking out at the sea. It was ok, nothing to special, I would call it functional. The sunset bar/ Italian restaurant served ok food not amazing (which to be fair was repeated in many restaurants outside the hotel, the expecting that we found was the square which is past the happy cafe) and a little overpriced. Overall my trip to Lombok was great and I really enjoyed it. You do see alot of trash around on the beaches, which are not part of any hotel, and the roads. The hotel is great, would definitely go again, but please fix the hot water. I hate showering with cold water.

Might be one of the best hotels at Senggigi Beach, the room is quite old but still well maintained. Foods are good generally, staffs are friendly and helpful. Stayed for 2 nights here, unfortunately it was in rainy season on November. While the place itself was excellent, the cottage/garden style which covers vast area makes it difficult to roam about when raining though an umbrella is provided for each room. Boogey cars also available for guests but limited. A restaurant and bar by the beach are also available for guests to enjoy the sunset or just to chill out. Overall it was a great experience to stay here. Recommended.

We came for our honeymoon and they've prepared a cute set up for us with fresh flowers. Amazing resort in Senggigi, Lombok. Extremely friendly, Maya, front desk staff and security were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, buffet style with western and Indonesian cuisine overlooking the pool and gardens. Private beach with soft sand and blue waters. Well kept gardens by the gardeners, they always greeted us too. Great location in Senggigi, there are restaurants, spa/salons, mini markets and beach clubs nearby. The bed was a bit hard though and the front light of our room (ground floor) needs to be a sensored light so we can see at night when putting keys in. Other than that, recommended 100%

1st of all, from general aspects (the park, pool, beach, bungaloos) this hotel is arguably the best hotel that I've stayed so far (there is one hotel in Mecca that I've stayed that is pretty cool too although of course i believe a lot of it's features are indoors). But i think i just can't rate it 5 stars for probably 'not so important' things. ye know this hotel is supposed to be 5 stars hotel but.. well yeah, for the views absolutely gorgeous, staffs are incredibly incredibly polite, quick respond services, such a chill place, and it's humongous areas. But, it was my first stayed in a bungaloo and there are some pretty annoying mosquitoes, lizards, and big giant ants. The pool, even though it supposed to be open at 09.00 they said, some parts are still quite dirty from leaves and things like that. Fridge inside my room was quite loud at night, and i think i can hear the people that stayed next door are talking. The quality of the objects (inside the room) and products that being offered are generally pretty decent with some exception like the fridge and the toilet in my opinion. But yeah, i think I would revisit it again someday.

One of the worst hotel experiences I've had. The only good thing about the hotel is the location, but the location is actually better about 10 minutes north. I have been travelling Indonesia for a month, this was by far the most expensive hotel we stayed at and also the worst. Service is ridiculously slow, anything in the hotel costs a fortune by Indonesian standards and the idea that you can relax here is a joke when they have music blaring out from 10am to 10pm so loud it makes your room shake. We were told this was for an on site special event but was not told in advance and the staff didn't seem to care that this meant that we had to leave the hotel during the day because my girlfriend was sick (this was possibly a result of breakfast) and couldn't cope with the noise.

Big & spacious hotel with private beach for sunset view. Good & clean hotel and its staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is surrounded by vast garden & coconut tree. Also completed with swimming pool, jogging track, and basketball yard. Breakfast was average, i got fried rice & chicken porridge that were too salty. Clean & comfy room, but it seems need improvement for the old furniture & wooden wall

Spacious, a bit old building but well maintained and clean. AC, hot shower, mattress, pillows are good. Next to the beach where you can simple snorkeling or canoeing. Timing is important to get crystal clear water to enjoy corals and fish. When high tide, also good for surfing. Facing west for sunsets can see mount Aging in Bali island I expect more from restaurant and breakfast. Specifically Sunday is quite crowded.

We went to drink a cocktail on the beach bar. Lucky us it was happy hour and got one cocktail for free. Sadly the cocktails were way too strong and didn’t taste like it should be. As we called the waiter to complain about the taste, he told us that during happy hour they use the bali local brewed alcohol (non certified). Something we would’ve liked to know in advance! We received a new cocktail but tasted the same. Shame for this fancy establishment!

Great hotel with great views. I was doing morning walk around hotel and the atmosphere was so calm and serene. Foods need improvements, I stayed for 3 nights and the menu are just the same every single day. Location is a bit far from the city and airport.

Stayed here August 26/27, 2022 for the last day of my trip. Hotel is very nice and spacious property. Breakfast was complimentary and the spread was good. Both the restaurants were good. The restaurant away from the beach prepared a custom made dinner on my request as I am vegetarian. Liked the professional behaviour of all staff. Would definitely come back someday.

Great , calm hotel, great swimming pool and very nice beach? Bungalows facing a great garden, you rarely cross many people around, feels so calm. Breakfast is great too. Personnel very good.

The location is good, they have private beach with Basilico (Italian) restaurant near the beach. The pool is also good, it has 0.5, 0.9 and 1.5 m depth, made it family friendly. Pool is near Rinjani restaurant where you can also order the Indonesian snacks after you swam. I’m not sure you will love the room if you ask modern style hotel. I got a beach view room, but it’s in old style hotel room, with three doors(front main door, balcony door, and connecting door). The old style room made it creepy, so if you go there alone better think twice. May be it’s a good choice for honeymoon couple.

The cleaning of the rooms where below a five stare rating and my bathroom where not cleaned for 3 days. It smelled as someone had smoked in the room even if it where an non smoking. The restaurant where overpriced compare to the service. You will find better restaurants close by.

Stayed for two nights here, and it was an amazing experience. First of all this hotel is enermous! You have to walk a little just to move to another part of the hotel. Very good ambience and great scenery. Located near Senggigi beach, you can enjoy the faboulous sunset everyday. The beach has a strong waves, its better to not swim here. You can swim at their pool instead. The staffs were very helpful and friendly, they greet us everytime we're passing by. Room is not really big, with a bit oldy style but still comfy. The food for a 5 star hotel just so-so, not many various menu with average taste. Unfortunately the board information is too small and i think it's not really gave us information. I still got lost during my second day here. At night, it is also has a low light, so you have to be careful.

Place looks luxurious and feels better but when it comes to service it's really bad, you can't find the person who supposed to make the umbrella and need to walk and ask few people such inconvenience, the beach is not private , anyone is welcome to the beach which was not the best for tourists or pushy sellers who stay staring at you while resting in the sun, I don't understand why they let them why they don't have a policy , just stay in normal place or go to Gilli which will feel more comfortable. I don't know it's normal to find a Cockroach in your bathroom of a 5 stars hotel !!! Lots of stuff looks like a trainee. We didn't like the experience there and will never be repeated.

Fabulous place. Best for holidays and relaxing. The room are clean and neat. The service is excellent. And the food during the breakfast, albeit the selection was rather limited, were tasty. Definitely a recommended hotel for holiday stay (or bussiness, they recently open a new huge hall)

Hands down one of the best hotels I've stayed. The staffers are very helpful, very good service too (you could check in early), and the view is like no others. Will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Lombok again

Always a favorite place to hang out either by myself or with family and or friends. Beach Front, lovely view of sunset, superb staff services. Ayu is one of the most helpful and an amazing staff, she always makes me feel welcome. Happy hour is from 5-7pm. Always happy to spend time there. Definitely be back soon.

I like everything. Seamless check-in and check-out. Very friendly staff and nice accomodation. But its very old building. But everything just working normal and perfect. And another cons is their bar is a bit expensive and a bit slow for refilling breakfast menu.

Been here twice, both for business. Experience from both visits were quite similar. It was very nice. The room was spacious enough, the service was fast and very friendly, located just at the beach made easy access to the beach. Lots of activities to be done and child friendly. I would love to bring my family for vacation here someday.

There's a private beach, there's a private mosque, there's a tennis court, everywhere you see everything is beautiful. And there's a golf cart which can help you with your belongings. Everything I need was in the room. I love this place. Looking forward to get back again if I visit Lombok someday. Thank you for the hospitality from all the staff. I had a great time.

If you're looking for a calming ambience, private escaping from city routine & tasting a bit of paradise, you may give a go to this place. Were here to please our clients, this spot is amazing. Their staffs are really helping hand & their supports are absolutely best. Personally i would salute to Ms Yenny & Ms Maya for their hospitality on our clients special demands. A worthy place, a hidden paradise in Senggigi. This is a subjective review from my point of view.

One of the best places to stay in Lombok. Private beach, nice spacious and quiet gardens and a pool. The room was great for two people, everything was working well. Two private restaurants, good breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff everywhere. It really makes you feel like you're in a resort. Decent surroundings, neighbourhood with loads of amenities, including Bluebird taxis and some local people. Also some cool restaurants and beach club style venues without the tourist hassle of Kuta in the south or Bali.

Fantastic location right next to the beach. We booked for a superior room but as it was fully booked we got upgraded to a bungalow for free 🤩 service and the staffs were all extremely polite and helpful. There was a huge spread for breakfast and tastes delicious. The room condition was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for the location and beauty of the surrounding!

Had a stay here in December. It was actually a pretty cottage in Senggigi. It’s just having so much old school vibes. It feels you are staying in 90s style hotel. The varieties of breakfast is also acceptable. Compared to similar rated hotel in Bali, of course the Balinese one is more prominent. However the service is excellent. And the view is so nice. So it might be one of the options you would choose while in Lombok

We stayed during Christmas for 3 days with family and 8 years old girl. The hotel is big the room with extra bed for our daughter just ok, but the room service is not as good as the hotel. 3 botols water and complete toilleterie only in the first night. Although we stayed for 2 night.

Room is not too bad. But there services isn’t 5 stars quality. I stayed 2 nights. After cleanup we couldn’t get new amenities (ex. Shampoo ,body gel, toilet tissue etc) Restaurant operations also too bad. When I went to restaurant in the morning,I wanted to order just 1 noodle. But there were no staff in the noodle station.I asked to staffs many times. But no one responded to my order. The staff came to cooking place, but he didn’t say anything to me. he took 30min to serve just 1 noodle.I asked the reason why it was take 30min for cook.He said to me”I have to cook for my friend at first.”I couldn’t understand what he said.he is a hotel staff.but he couldn’t work for customer.Crazy bad hotel it is.This is NOT 5star.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Merumatta Senggigi, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff's friendliness added a personal touch to the check-in process, setting a positive tone for my entire stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive – from the lobby to the room, every corner sparkled. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment did not go unnoticed. It's evident that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. The room itself was a cozy retreat. The bed was not only comfortable but adorned with fresh, crisp linens that contributed to a restful night's sleep. The decor was tasteful and created a serene ambiance. The attention to creating a cozy atmosphere extended to thoughtful details like soft lighting and plush furnishings. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness and creating a comfortable environment made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommended Merumatta Senggigi to anyone seeking a delightful blend of cleanliness and coziness during their travels.
