These accommodations and services offered are superb. If you are looking to get away from people and want to relax in one spot, highly recommend. The concierge staff and the poolside views are spectacular. The 2 for 1 spa deal, specifically the Katamaran Signature massage are not to be missed. There is nothing around the resort with Senggigi being a 10 minute drive away.

The service here was really great! We had kindly asked if it is possible to get 100% vegan food as a snack and for dinner - then they really cooked everything fresh just for us!! It was so delicious and we appriciated it very much. All the people who worked there were so unbelievable friendly! Thank you for your kindness! Also big thanks to the hotel manager we have met two times during our stay. The sunsets there are very beautiful! The gym was good (but it is a hotel gym! Not the same as a standard gym) The only thing that we did not like were the people that came to the tables during breakfast to beg All the best from Austria! ☺️

Incredible beachfront resort ! The ocean view rooms was fantastic, clean and comfortable, a pleasing combination of traditional and modern vibe & well equipped…. The pools are just great… We are here for a 4D3N stay for my wife’s Birthday. We just arrived yesterday from Gili T. We got upgraded to a Seaview Villa just because its my wife’s birthday today. Its been a great experience. We returned from the City this afternoon & the entire Front Office Staff including their Manager sang my wife a Birthday Song. When we got to our room, the entire bed was decorated for the Birthday with flowers and Birthdays wishes. Earlier tonight we were at The Kliff Restaurant for Dinner and once again it was a VIP treatment with the entire Restaurant Staff singing Happy Birthday with a cake after Dinner…. wow…. it keeps getting better… We were hardly back to our room & guess what… another cake from the Front Office Manager & Staff… i just cant thank everyone enough at Katamaran Resort for all the wonderful experiences. We will be sad when we leave the day after tomorrow but one is for sure… we will be back….

The only 5 star hotel you'll ever visit without functional warm water showers, completely unacceptable! We talked to the reception 3 times and they assured us nothing was wrong with our water supply, they said the maximum temperature was 32 °C, ours was colder than that, but anyways, 32°C is too cold! No effort was made to give us any kind off compensation or give us another room....... The food in the restaurants was good but waaayy over priced. Local restaurants have likewise, or better food, at a 1/3 the price. The staff was in general very friendly!!! They have a good fitness center, with beautiful view!

Ridiculous! Just ridiculous! In all honesty, the view is really amazing, but the food is way overpriced... i mean, 72.2 iDR (60 +service +VAT) for an orange juice xD The cheesy burger was horrible and definitely not worth 125 IDR (incl taxes). The salmon was medium and costed 224 IDR (incl taxes). Please increase your quality or decrease the price! (Not stayed here as a guest, just had a one time dinner)

This is one of my favorite places in the world. My mom has taken me here since I was younger. And I recently took my husband here for our honeymoon. This resort will treat you like family and royalty at the same time. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They are very good at what they do. The views of this place is insane. It is unreal, beautiful and breathtaking. Most of the rooms are ocean view. They also have villas and penthouses. The pool amenities are also very fun and relaxing. I believe they have 2 big huge pools and there’s also private pools for some rooms. The food and bar here is also top notch. Whether you dine at The cliff or The Sail restaurant you are in for a treat. Food is delicious. You do get free breakfast every morning as well. All in all this is one of the best resorts to stay at while in Lombok. Guaranteed a great vacation stay !

Sea-front hotel and beach resorts in Lombok Island. Room was spacious and comfortable. Ground floor room have 2 showers (outdoor and indoor), I would suggest a bathtub instead of 2 showers. Breakfast was delicious, I'll give it 8/10. They have 2 pools, one of them has glass walls around it so you can take pictures from the side of the pool looking in. It doesn't have white sandy beach and not private since local people selling souvenirs and all can come to the beach especially during breakfast. It was a bit uncomfortable to see them watching us eat breakfast. Maybe the hotel can provide a win-win solution for them too (e.g. give them space to sell their goods in a farmer's market type of event). All in all, it was a great visit despite the leeches and snails on the footpath to the room.

Cannot recommend. We booked based on very high scores on several online platforms, and were quite disappointed. Service erratic (although very friendly and cordial), we had to ask five times to get a rack for drying towels on the balcony, room took more than 3 hours to be ready for us (meaning we could not check in until 3 pm) and was still not correctly set up for 4 people. Location somewhat isolated from e.g. alternative eating options and other diversions, although in a beautiful natural setting by the beach. Importantly, the resort restaurants are really not good. The breakfast and lunch restaurant is decidedly poor for a hotel of this standard. Dinner restaurant better, but inconsistent with some wild misses which I don't expect at these prices, including what resulted in apparent food poisoning for one of us. Both wildly overpriced compared to anything else we tried after travelling extensively in Indonesia, including other places on Lombok. Breakfast was way worse than most of the much cheaper places we stayed during the trip, and definitely not up to 5 star standards. In my opinion the resort overall did not live up to its price tag by any means. Staff very friendly and trying to be helpful, but they seem to be constrained by a sub-par setup. The poor eating options and somewhat erratic service end up weighing heavily in the overall experience, given that this resort is in the five star price and ambition range.

We had an incredible stay in this resort! We stayed in their room that had a view to the beach and it was awesome. Perfect location to watch sunset. Food and service at the hotel is good, we are quite happy with the breakfast buffet with many variations from local to international cuisines.

The hotel is completely understaffed, the rooms are not very clean and the toiletries are really of poor quality. The breakfast was the worse part. Not enough food at all for the amount of people staying at the hotel; the staff is helpful there but overwhelmed, there are not a lot of variety and items are mostly cold. (Noise) Isolation from outside noise is terrible in the bedrooms. We couldn’t sleep most of the nights. Room service for extra towel, a pair of cutlery or replacement of a pillow was super slow, most of the time nobody came. We are truly disappointed. The hotel cannot expect to build its credibility only by offering a nice sunset view. Finally, they put the gym on top of the hotel rooms and told us we can’t use it before 9am which is not ideal when people have plans for the rest of the day. We paid a lot of money for such low satisfaction. We will not recommend it nor come back.

There is so much to say. Sublime, incredible hotel. Very caring staff. Kind, considerate, warm. Magical place. Amazing pool with sunsets every evening. I didn't want to leave again, it was very difficult. The Sailor restaurant is delicious. The spa is also stunning. In fact everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back. The quality of service of the hotel is truly exceptional. Go for it without hesitation

Absolutely sensational hotel. The food is lovely, very varied and cheap for us foreigners. My Premier Club room is out of this world. Fantastic pool. Sensational cocktails and the staff are so charming and helpful that I would give 6 stars if possible. I am over here on business so have not had too much downtime but when I have grabbed time to relax I could not have been in a better spot.

Very nice hotel, the rooms are large and spacious, modern design. Superfine bed linen made sleep like a dream. Very warm and welcoming staff at all levels - sales, reception, management, and waiters. Very nice pool area. The food in both hotel restaurants was one of the best in all Bali/ Lombok. Amazing views and dining experience at the Kliff Restaurant. Huge choice for breakfast and the hotel has a very nice beach. In Lombok - this is the place to go! Highly recommended.

Nice resort with a spacious and cozy room. Best view to ocean. I can hear the wave sound of the ocean from my room during my stay, it's like a 'lullaby' at night. The hotel has a private access to Senggigi beach (at the backyard). The swimming pool especially the infinity pool is amazing, next to the beach. Awesome! 😍👍🏼

This was easily the best trip we’ve had away from home. From the cleaning team to the day staff - what a pleasant and kind group of people. They couldn’t have been more tentative than they were during our stay. They noticed the little things like that we liked tea in our room early in the morning then again in the evening and so supplied us with two lots. They were chatty but equally left you to your privacy, the perfect balance. The resort itself was fantastic and had everything we needed which included 2 large pools for people to enjoy and a couple small ones. The hotel backs onto the beach which is about 10 steps below the hotel pool and we could swim and snorkel with turtles and other sealife for hours and hours a day if we wanted to. All of the meals were lovely and never got boring as they always had something a little different to the day before. Food was cooked well and the flavour was incredible. The spa facilities were very decently priced for what you get. They are a friendly team and accommodating whatever treatment you get. Overall the hotel was safe, clean, well facilitated and I have to give a special thank you to Fery who made our stay that little bit better. He really is a credit to the team here. This hotel is the perfect advert for Lombok and we can’t wait to tell friends and family about our trip so they can visit to see it for themselves. We hope to see you again very soon. Marc&Nimrah

Our stay at Katamaran was mostly enjoyable. The room and amenities were of good quality, the pools with Ocean views were great (with options to move to quieter areas) and The Kliff Bistro was a fantastic nearby option for sunset drinks and dinner. The resort also provided numerous options for activities during the day which made things easy for us. We however think the quality of breakfast was quite low, to the point where we decided not to take it on our last day. The breakfast was A La Carte rather than a buffet and the portions were very small and not tasteful. Some other minor points of feedback would be to add more lighting to the bathroom.

Absolutely stunning resort. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Two different pools, poolside service, a fantastic breakfast included in the stay, but what truly makes this place special is the hospitality and genuine kindness of the staff. I battled a stomach bug here and they went above and beyond to help me and check in on me afterwards. I would recommend this resort to everyone. Thank you Katamaran and staff for an outstanding stay.

Stayed 3 nights and could have stayed 3 weeks. The staff is super friendly, and the location is very relaxing because you can hear the sound of the waves and watch the sun set with a view on the island of Bali. It was my birthday during our stay, which was made extra special by the staff, who went above and beyond😊 Would definitely recommend the spa and restaurant The Sail as well. The breakfast setting was very nice right at the beach, and options from western to local dishes were all delicious. Definitely want to come back!

This property is very well managed. All staff are well trained and super attentive. The grounds are very well maintained and efficient. Very hard to find any fault- perhaps the touts along the beach could be asked not to disturb the guests unless being approached. Would like to thank the breakfast staff and the reception for taking good care of us. Your hospitality exudes the charm and allure of Lombok. A big thank you!

The hotel is well located to nearby landmarks and has a beach. The hotel is very clean. Staff are also very attentive. The hotel is beautifully designed and a great place to relax. We really enjoyed the ambience and epic scenery. Only downsides are: 1) Lack of hot water in the showers 2) Food was good but not to the quality or taste expected, considering the price and the hotel. 3) Ants in the rooms.

Very nice hotel with private beach on its backyard. The room were spacious with its own balcony. There were various food options in the restaurants, and we can enjoy the meal while seeing sunset or sunrise on the beach. The downside, the lights in the room was a bit dim and not very light. And another thing, would be better if the wall to the bathroom and toilet were not transparant so we can have privacy when staying with accompany in the room

Nothing short of brilliant. Excellent location, modern and perfect working order installations. Friendliest staff always ready to assist you. Very good food, I'm not a fan of hotel food. However, these guys know how to cook.

Absolutely incredible stay. I stayed in a few hotels during my time in Indonesia and this resort was my favorite by far. For starters the staff is so friendly, from the moment you arrive. They are so attentive and kind. The facilities are incredible - so clean, well kept, the pools were so great too. They do have a gym, which I didn’t get a chance to use but seemed great from checking it out! The restaurants on site are delicious, the food is well portioned, fresh and varied menu. The rooms are SO SO comfortable and chic, we had a view of the beach and the pool from our balcony which was awesome. Everything is well kept and clean. Loved and would definitely recommend!

We were allowed to visit the hotel. Overall we are dissatisfied. Although the hotel was clean and the infrastructure was good, many points didn't make sense. We had half board. There was NO buffet at breakfast or dinner. It was both with cards and the food was very poor. So we weren't full. Reordering costs money. Then there is the fact that drinks are not included with the meal. Water is also not included. The employees are nice and do their best, but as mentioned, various points don't make sense. In the evening there is no atmosphere and you can't have a comfortable drink and the bar closes at 10 p.m. That's why we unfortunately only give it 3 stars.

Great beach resort with everything you need - beautiful areas to relax in, several outdoor pools, rooftop gym with breathtaking views, delicious breakfast, kind staff. The only downside is I barely left the site for 3 days because it was just so comfy! You can also stroll down the beach to other beachfront restaurants. Moped rental opposite the hotel entrance.

Our family spent two weeks there at the end of August. 1/ Rooms: Very spacious, great views, could not ask for more. 2/ Pools: The hotel is sitting on a rather small strip of land, and is a four-storey building, so you sometimes do not have a sufficient number of deck chairs, and people make reservations with their towels early in the morning. 3/ Food: The Italian restaurant up the cliff is great, fantastic views. The one at the beach is so-so, definitely not what you would expect in a 5* hotel. Food is relatively cheap (pizza less than €10), alcohol is expensive (large beer €10). 4/ Service: Depends a lot who you a speaking to. As an example, we had to ask thrice to get additional hangers for our wardrobe. Sometimes orders were forgotten, or staff is chatting with each other rather than serving guests. They were all very friendly though, but maybe lack training - which comes down to hotel management.

Had an incredibly disappointing experience with the hotel. We booked two twin rooms for our family, expecting a comfortable and connected stay. Unfortunately, we were assigned rooms that were not only separate but also quite distant from each other. The lack of proximity made the stay far from pleasant. It was particularly challenging to secure separate rooms, adding to the overall frustration of our stay. The inconvenience greatly impacted our family's enjoyment, and we were left with a less than satisfactory impression of our time at the hotel.

Really great stay here. Clean rooms but one day they never cleaned our room while we were out but we called and they came over to clean it immediately. Just one star off because the food and drinks and pretty expensive but the taste doesn't match the price. Better food than some of the hotels in the area, but the pasta dishes all lacked flavor and had really small portions and the frozen drinks tasted like water and not flavorful. Good breakfast buffet. We had really bad service at the Kliff restaurant, unfortunately. Good location right on the beach and very clean resort with nice pools places to relax. We also really enjoyed the outdoor shower we had at the back of our room. We will be back again.

Excellent taste to the delicious selection of foods on the menu. A favorite was their pizza - the crust oven-baked perfectly. The seafood was delicious. We tried almost all seafood dishes on the menu and they were all excellent. Service was very good 👍 Fast, friendly, attentive to detail, and they were great about cleaning

2 Stars for now. Booked last night a room for two nights at room 1308. Since I brought two kids under 11 years old, hotel ask me to pay extra for two person which is OK. But the receptionist last night told me this not included the breakfast for those two kids. And I repeated this question twice with the same answer, no breakfast included. However in the morning after I looking at the term and conditions, the payment for extra person is included the breakfast, and its confirmed now by another receptionist in the afternoon next day. Well its not the missing breakfast for two persons, its anoying that staff doesn't understand the rule of booking and payment. Hence its two stars even though they have magnificent view, great room, and nice private beach. But 5 stars comes with all those including the services, and clearly this not the case.

Love the view and the ambience, but too bad they dont sell pizzas on the weekdays, and the coctail are kinda weak too.. maybe need more stronger booze in the mix

Hi, Im writing this review with absolutely no bias whatsoever. I’ve been to countries such as Luxembourg, Switzerland, Japan, Korea, Russia, Czechoslovakia, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Hungary and more. And I’ve got to say, this resort is the single best place I’ve stayed in out of all those countries.The breakfast, lunch and dinner are all fantastic. Staffs are extremely friendly. The beach is also clean and perfect for honeymoons. But the room, thats the best part. I stayed in the Royal Penthouse (most expensive room), and It is absolutely massive combining the natural elements of Lombok with a sleek modern look. I’ve also been in the Presidential Penthouse and its a bit smaller but it has a jacuzzi in it. These rooms are extremely comfy and will impress your date. Overall, lovely resort.

One of thebest resorts at Senggigi, Lombok. You should mark this for your best staycation. Their sevice, food, cleanliness, ambience was perfect! You'll hear the sound of wind, sea wave, etc.. Beautiful resort with private beach in Senggigi area! I recommend you to book your room on second floor with seaview. Great hospitality, the reception was very accommodating of all your needs, they were very helpful when I told them that I needed to do PCR test before my next flight. Went above and beyond to look for home service clinic so that I didn't have to drive all the way to Mataram. And what a surprisingly pleasant experience we had in the Katamaran's own Soul Bliss Spa, the therapists were super professional and we had one of the best and relaxing massage after trekking in Beloam. Breakfast choices were also plentiful, with generous portions of everything. Overall we had a pleasant stay here in Katamaran and definitely will come back to this resort whenever we go to Senggigi.

Security at the front gate needs improvement, definitely unfriendly, or maybe it's our half decaying rental car that doesn't fit the premise. Hotel is unkind to children as we've got additional charges for our kids, while I already ordered an extra bed for my 11 yo, my youngest 7 yo seems to be a burden for them, unlike the other hotel I've just been in Kuta that actually provides complimentary breakfast. Ended up paying for almost double the room rate, unhappy me. Room was excellent in size and wifi was fast as well. Hot shower is just warm but water pressure was excellent. I love the rain shower. The extra bed was great, it was literally an extra bed, not just extra mattress. They have 2 pools, one was fun for children as it has shallow spots. But when I asked for towels I was told to go pick them up at the other pool, 100 meters away. Extremely odd for a resort at this price point where guest are not treated as they should. So I walked down with this staff until in the middle of the way he ended up telling me to wait as he will pick the towels up for me. Breakfast was delicious, but really very few options, nothing was special as I expected from it's rate, I was expecting a lavish breakfast. And espresso is something we have to pay extra. The garden was beautiful, and the sunset was amazing. Beach was excellent in the morning as the water is very clear and shallow with small waves only, very safe for children. All in all, it's a beautiful resort but definitely needs improvements in providing service. Hospitality is something lacking, at least for me and my family.

Had a pleasant stay in this incredible resort. I had my room on the 3rd floor with spacious balcony facing directly to the sea. The room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good and had a various range of food.

5 stars for this hotel. Kudos for all the staffs there, they are so kind. The view was great, the infinity pool was amazing. If you looking for place to calm your mind down, this is the right place. You can actually enjoy your holiday while listening to the sound of the ocean. At night you can go outside and stargazed. Love it so much! Also, I love their Ayam Taliwang menu. Its exquisite, rich of flavor and tender.

We stayed 2 night at Ocean view deluxe room, so close with ocean, and we can saw sunset from room. Every night we can heard the sound of the waves. The room is spacious. A standard Buffet breakfast. Overall, very recommended.

Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, lucky to stay in their ocean-view suite, looking out to the ocean and the beautiful sunset. The infinity pool has a glass wall. A good place for wwimming or just chilling in the evening by the pool while stargazing. The room is nice, but the breakfast menu is not that many. 4 days having the same menu everyday.

Stayed a week here in an ocean front room which was ample in size and had its own large balcony overlooking the main pool and beach. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom, plenty of storage and excellent air con. Very friendly and attentive staff at every turn, you'll never go wanting anything if you need it. Food selection is via the main restaurant and the Kliff, both had variety and very good with the Kilff offering elevated sunset views to the west and some live music on certain nights. The main restaurant had karaoke on Saturday night which wasn't our thing and maybe ran a bit late but a minor imposition. Spa is easy to book and excellent, gym is reasonable and does the job with an elevated view over the ocean. The only criticism is the hawkers on the beach however I don't think the resort has any control over that. Overall a very relaxing experience and great place to just do nothing, would visit again.

Lovely resort. Good food. Good service. We booked a tropical private pool room, very beautiful. I had 4 amazing days staying at this resort. Price were worth it for amazing service, food, and view. I recommend renting a car from the resort, they will take care of you, definitely worth the price. Thanks for our personal driver from Katamaran, Pak Budi.

The view is good and clean but there are a lot of things are bad. The meals (especially for breakfast) is limit varians. The taste are so bad (appetizer, main courses, and desserts, even its fruits) Waiter’s services aren’t professional. Such as i order oriental chicken porridge but they gave me fried chicken lol.. I thought that they should service the elevator as soon as possible !!!! GRO told me that last check out is available but on the day i wanna c/o, the front office asked me to c/o immediately. What the ???? I think that this is famous and great resort in senggigi, lombok, but the services is totally different.

Stayed in the hotel style rooms There's a sea view from the balconies however you also have a view of the other rooms and it's 5 stories high. The rooms are spacious but there is no view from the bed. The bathrooms is not well lit so if you wear make up bring a mirror. The toilet can get a septic smell if you don't leave the light and fan on during the day. It is a glass enclosure, no windows of course, so we leave the fan on and the problem has gone, still for 5 star this shouldn't be the case. I have a premium twin room. Next time l would pay extra to stay in the beach side villa rooms where there is a view of the ocean and or pool from the bed and outdoor bathroom on the bottom floor. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, we are here I'm September, perfect weather, lovely pools, very good food at the restaurant. Lovely dining area indoor and out, outside it is under the trees and on the beach. If you can afford it stay in a villa here or of in the hotel then choose the premier club room which is higher up and at the front of the U shaped hotel thereby having far superior views. There's a gym with great views on the very top where the penthouses are.

Incredible beachfront resort! I stayed here for a 3D2N Lombok weekend trip with my parents and my whole family. The ocean view rooms was fantastic, clean and comfortable, a pleasing combination of traditional and modern vibe, equipped with a sofa large enough for one guest bed. The bathroom was clean and large with stunning outdoor shower and indoor shower. Plenty of pool side area for all of the guest. We enjoyed beach side breakfast area so much, with various meal to choose, continental for me, pancake and cereal for my daughter, and rice/Asian for my parents. The beach was clean and quiet, a morning beach walk is a must. Definitely will stay here again whenever I visit Lombok. Highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful, impeccable service . The pool and views of the sea across to Mt Agung were beautiful. The dining area with tables under the trees was delightful The Suite with ocean view also has views of all the other balconies which l was not expecting, building is U shaped and 5 stories high. I now know that the Premier Club Rooms would be worth paying for extra money for as these rooms are at the front with far superior rooms. The Villas face the beach but are of course much pricier. Food was very good with an extensive menu. Iced teas expensive. The spa is a lovely place for massages, modern with sea views. I will definitely be returning here, but to a Club room or villa.

Amazing experience at the Katamaran Resort! We stayed 3 nights in the Pool Villa which was absolutely beautiful! Very friendly staff as well - greetings especially to our driver Yogi! Highlights for us were the glass pool and dinner at the Cliff Restaurant with a beautiful sunset view! Felt really relaxed after these days and can only recommend further!

A proper tropical beach resort. Every aspect of our stay here was spot on. The grounds are well kept even through the pandemic. Stayed here for three nights and we saw three gorgeous sunsets from the infinity pool. The room was exceptional for the price. Breakfasts were plentiful. Staff hospitality was okay but not exceptional.

What a wonderful place!! Truly 5 star. Due to some building on site we were upgraded to a full suite villa with own private pool. Although not necessary as the resort has 3 stunning pools. The rooms, the resort and the restaurants are stunning and the food is superb. Clean, cater to every need in detail, staff friendly and attentive. For 5 star it is very well priced. Located on a each, about 15min drive from the harbour (we came in by speedboat from Bali). Scooter cheap to hire to tour country-side or go to Senggigi town. More relaxed, not as busy as Bali (Kuta). Not too far from Gili islands either (20min). I would say a must stay if you looking for 5 star stay in Lombok.
