Super nice place! Felt a good atmosphere straight away when we arrived. I got a problem with my debit card, the ATM ate it and the bank didn't want to give it back to me. The owner helped me,driving me until the bank and speaking with them. Always trying to make our stay enjoyable. And the best banana pancakes ever tried! All the other food on the menu was very good as well. The place is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Sengiggi.

First off - I read the review by Janus and the terrific response by the owner and that, along with the other reviews caused me to come here. I had a lovely visit. The owner, Michelle, is indeed a French guy that could not be nicer. Helped me by answering questions on destinations and gave me some terrific advice (which I asked for). The entire staff is lovely and the breakfast is fantastic. This is a great escape from the ultra busy Sanggigi center and a great base point for enjoying the beaches to the North. Accommodations are simple, clean, bed bug free (that seems to be a thing at so many of the other places) and very enjoyable. No A/C but the fan in the room keeps it at an acceptable temperature. No trouble sleeping. I am a working nomad that requires internet capable of remote log in and skype and I had no problems here. Internet speed was great. Oh - and one last thing - the shower is indeed different from what I am used to and took some figuring out. But it is not broken and works just fine!

Stay away from this place. The owner is an old french guy who walks around half-naked. He scolded me for bringing a Coca-cola inside; he said I can´t bring drinks from the outside... There was a lot of dirt and garbage under the bed, the shower was not working. The price is 135k but in the morning he asked for 245k! He said the price goes up if I took breakfast. I told him I didn´t have breakfast, though I tried but there was nobody to serve me in the morning. I waited 45 minutes for somebody to show up.. There is nothing positive about this place. If you go to Senggigi, stay in Senggigi cottages, infinitely better place with a nice swimming pool and free breakfast. I regret I stayed in this dump this time. I received a long, insulting message from the owner, he calls me a bad host... :-) maybe he should learn that I was not the host, I was the guest. He said he was half-naked because he was wearing a traditional sarong, but one can and one should wear a t-shirt or a shirt, it is disgusting to watch him like that, especially during breakfast, which by the way never even arrived. He sais the shower is not broken, but I just don´t know how to use it....what a joke this guy is! Seriously, what kind of a nut case would not allow guests to bring some soft drinks inside their room??

My stay at La Casa Homestay was truly memorable. The hosts' exceptional hospitality made me feel like part of the family. They even helped me arrange a birthday cake for my friend, going above and beyond to make the occasion special. I also had the pleasure of joining them for dinner twice, which added a personal touch to the experience. With their warm and welcoming atmosphere, La Casa Homestay is the perfect choice for a cozy stay in Senggigi.

Great experience! I've been here for a 2 weeks stay and I highly recommend it to everyone who want to get a friendly familiar experience. Michelle and Niha will do everything you feel as at home and providing usefull information and extra services ( motobikes, excursions, taxi service) to improve your holydays experience. Rooms are large with bathroom and confortable big bed. Nice garden and quite enviroment close to beach. Higly recomended.

Lovely couple who runs this place are really friendly and care about their guests. Safety cannot be better with 24h security staff and quiet dogs to protect the premises. Little off track so quiet but still close to the beach, local food and markets. Will definitely stay here again considering the fair price for the Senggigi area!

We booked out of the season and it didn't look anything like the pictures. Have stayed in many places and would not have minded as much untill the owner treated us extremely rude. When we asked if there was a different room he was not bothered. Didn't want to cancel the reservation and his wife threatened to hit me. Booking sorted us out, but we were shocked with this experience. Never been treated this rude. Hope they have sorted themselves out.

Super loved this place. The owner were super helpful. Small and lovely place. Unfortunately when the rain is so heavy, the center part of the guesthouse would be flooded. Place your shoes inside and use sandals. There is parking space for a car as well.

A very well situated and cheap accommodation in a small quiet village just south of main tourist hub Senggigi. The owners have several motorbikes for rent, tours on offer and can assist you in getting around or continuing your travels to either Bali or the Gili Islands.

I would recommend La Casa Homestay to anyone traveling through Lombok! Wonderful service, food and conversation from the owners. It was so nice to be able to get vegan options on request. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Easy five out of five stars.
