Segara Anakan is a natural lake found on Mount Rinjani. If Mount Semeru has a very beautiful Ranu Kombolo. So Mount Rinjani has Segara saplings which are no less beautiful. This lake, which is located at an altitude of approximately 2000 MDPL, is a magic in itself when we climb Mount Rinjani. But getting to this lake is not an easy thing, it is very different from Ranu Kumbolo where Ranu Kumbolo is one route if you want to climb to the top of Mahameru. Meanwhile, Segara Anakan Lake is different. If we climb via the Sembalun post, we have to go back and go down to Segara Anakan Lake. To be precise, we have to go down when we are at the PLAWANGAN post. But if we climb via SENARU, our journey, like in Semeru, will pass through Lake Segara Anakan first before heading to the top. Meanwhile, most climbers will do a CROSS so they start climbing SEMBALUN and return via SENARU.
