I paid 18 euros for ticket on Wednesday 4 pm from ticket office. There was no line. Building is architecturally beatiful but I am not sure if ticket is required. Seeing the building from outside is enough. This is the first house Gaudi designed. Unfortunately it lost some parts such as fountain from initial design. 1 hour is enough to visit.

It’s a really nice place, not so touristy therefore not too full. You have time to sit on the balconies and enjoy the view of the house. The rooftop is also a great place to take a break and just have a conversation with your fiends. I did enjoy the exhibition which is informative but also showcasing artists and new artists. But for me the ticket is just too expensive ( 18,50 euros) and there is no students discount. I recognise the amount of work it takes to upkeep this place and the need to pay the artist well for they work but I still think the price is too high.

So much fun to explore some of Gaudi's earlier works! This was commissioned as a summer home and was very recently restored so it could be toured by the public. It's definitely worth a visit if you have time!

This was such a fun experience - the house is gorgeous and so well preserved. If you plan to visit I highly recommend using the guided audio tour as it helps you hone in on areas of the house as well as small details that you may have otherwise missed if simply exploring without any direction. I loved the smoking room of the house the most but all spaces are a masterpiece

This was a wonderful peaceful visit and not overcrowded. I liked seeing Gaudi’s first work compared to his newer works. The ceilings are amazingly detailed especially the smoking room. The terraces and balconies were very refreshing on a summer day.

This is one of the 1st major projects of Antoni Gaudí. In this work, and for the first time, Gaudí outlined some of his constructive resources that would become regular. Built as a summer house for the Vicens family, here he showcased his unparalleled talent. The house was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 2005, and is beautiful in and out, and definitely worth a visit.

One of the most beautiful and must see sites in Barcelona. Nice part of town, take your time and enjoy all the spots in the house- go for some food or beer in the neighborhood, a nice little zone.

Casa Vicens is a unique experience in understanding Gaudi's evolution. Our guided tour with Julien was incredible, probably one of the best guides we've had anywhere. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, and was great at clarifying Gaudí facts from fiction.

This was one of my favorite places in Barcelona. The first home that Gaudi designed, the house is recently renovated and absolutely beautiful. Book your tickets ahead of time and bring your smartphone and headphones. There is free wifi and you can listen to the free audio guide. Walk through the house on your own and imagine life back then. It wasn't overrun with tourists.

Beautiful house with amazing details. I’m glad I came here and was able to look at things calmly and without the multitude of tourists everywhere. If you buy your tickets online they are cheaper than buying them at the entrance.

Great experience! The guides/staff are very knowledgeable and kind and happy to answer any question. The house has a really interesting history and very beautiful details. It is not one of the most popular Gaudi attractions but it DEFINITELY is worth the time! I would say that the price is a little high for what it is but I am happy nonetheless. The cafeteria is nice!

Incredible building and friendly and helpful staff. The gardens and ground floor are spectacular. As are the first floor and roof, with an excellent audioguide and chest explanations in the exhibitions. I thoroughly recommend visiting.

Gaudi's first masterpiece. Unconventional ceramic tiles on the exterior of the house. Unique style. It was requested to be on a budget, yet the design is mind-blowing. A bit expensive the entrance fee, but that's not something you will see ever again (unless you see other Gaudi works.

We found this casa totally by chance as it’s not part of the “typical” Barcelona route but it was the best find! It’s very different from Mila and Battlo but so amazing. The audio guide is very good, the casa is beautiful and the staff very nice and helpful. Also, there are less people. Definitely make time for this if you can!

Love the visit so much just because it gives you another side of Gaudi! Lovely staff members as well! I love the concept of how furniture is merged to a built structure making the whole place so classy! It wont be too overwhelmed like other Gaudi spot so this gives you a vast time to enjoy the space!

Gaudi's first house. Interesting to see how much effort he did into his work and his style is perfectly shown in this house. It's far away from other touristy places so it's a good break from the tourist rush in other popular parts. Not a huge house it can be viewed in about 1 hour. Recommended to listen to the audioguide included in the ticket just bring your own headphones.

One of Gaudis first buildings. Beautiful place and less ventured than his other locations. Tucked away on a smaller street, it was a calmer experience to visit.

This was my favorite and needs to be on your travel plans if you are visiting Barcelona! Have you heard of this place before? It is said to be Gaudi's first major project and such a beautiful mix of styles. 💫 So much detail in every corner! 😍💯🙌

A beautiful work by Gaudi. You really have to see this. Entrance fee was 20 euros, online you have a 2,50 discount and there is a free audio guide.

Wonderful experience! Way less crowded then most of Gaudí‘s works of arts here in Barcelona so definitely go if you want to enjoy some of the impressive architecture in peace.

Gorgeous house designed by Antoni Gaudi. This was the first house he designed in Barcelona and it is extremely unique in comparison to the others, you can see he was experimenting with a variety of decorations within and outside the house. There are exhibition on each of the floors and access to the roof. The exit is in basement through the shop which is complimented by a kids play area. There is a cafe at the house although we did not stop there.

A fascinating glimpse into Gaudi’s early work and a perfect way to pass a warm autumn afternoon, as I did. The audio guide is excellent and the place is quiet and calm, with just the sound of the fountain to soundtrack your visit. Presumably just as Gaudi intended. Highly recommended.

I love Gaudí work. Very stylish and colorful. La casa Vicens is worth a visit. Not only outside picture. The entire house is picturesque.

  • 5/5 Kyle M. 6 months ago on Google
I thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour of the house. It added a lot of information that might not be gleaned from simply looking at the house. There are a lot of things hidden in the construction that give a glimpse into the mind of Gaudí and how he went about creating unique spaces. It only takes about an hour and a half for the guided tour, but there is a lot to see and digest. I highly recommend it!

Stunning place to visit. First home built by Gaudi but you already knew that. I recommend going early in the day or later in the afternoon and you need about 1-2 hours to get through the home but possibly longer depending on how much you love architecture and design.

Great Gaudi Experience! Visited Casa Vicens on a Sunday, I was pleasantly surprised as it wasn’t as busy as I expected. Was able to purchase tickets at the museum but recommend purchasing these on the website as they are €2 cheaper. Fantastic experience - the house is so colorful and vibrant!

  • 5/5 Amy T. 4 months ago on Google
Lovely place featuring Gaudi’s work. If you only have time for one of the casa houses, would suggest visiting this one. I went on Friday morning in Nov and it wasn’t that busy. I could take my time and explore each room which was nicer than the busyness of casa batllo and their prices were more reasonable. Their free audioguide was interesting and nicely paired with the tour of the house. Also there’s a cute rooftop with nice views!

This architectural gem, designed by Antoni Gaudí, is a masterpiece that exemplifies his unique style and innovative approach. The vibrant colors and intricate details create a captivating facade that captures the essence of Gaudí's genius. While the cost of entry may deter some, the sheer beauty of this landmark contributes to Barcelona's cultural richness and architectural legacy.

We just bought tickets as we arrived. The house is one of the smaller ones, should take about 1.5 hrs or less. It’s still worth checking out but the cost of admission should be less. Employees were all nice. Not very crowded.

Another little gem in Barcelona! The brick work is phenomenal! Admired by both us oldies and the little ones. Sadly when we visited it wasn’t open so we never managed to experienced the masterpiece from the inside but it’s in the ‘to do’ list when we return!

Very beautiful This is a less known building from Gaudi, but it is incredible beautiful. You cannot miss it.

Very recommend place to visit in Barcelona. Amazingly explained though the audio guide. Goes into detail of every aspect of the architecture of the house. Just Wow!

  • 3/5 Farima 2 years ago on Google
The house and the interior are a masterpiece but unfortunately I couldnt enjoy the place as the staff were shadowing me all the time. Everywhere you go, they were following you. You cant enjoy the details. The entrance fee is about 16 Euros if you buy online, in person is about 18 Euros.

Very nice visit even if you’re leaving in BCN. Good for kids as well! We really enjoyed. Very good video projections. Very nice staff.

  • 5/5 LUCILA S. 2 years ago on Google
A must to visit, one of Gaudi’s gems. Staff is very friendly and offer an explanation of the house’s history. There are audio guides that can be accessed with your own phone. Visit can take from 30mins to an hour approx.

  • 5/5 Jan P. 2 years ago on Google
This gem has been available for the public to explore for just a few years (I visited in September 2021). Admission price is reasonable and a self directed audio tour is downloadable and the narration helps a lot! So the place is amazing. Not simply beautiful but also has engineering advances ahead of the time it was built. The walk-through is easy and it is accessible (elevator)...and you can move at your own pace. You can learn a lot here. A shop with neat stuff for sale is in the basement.

It is totally worth visiting this Gaudi’s first house project. It might not give you an amazing “wow” like Casa Batllo but there is still something nice about this house that makes it worth visiting. It has a great colorful façade, interesting ceilings, and nice wall surfaces. The audio guide is easy to use on your phone. I recommend bringing your own headphones to be able to listen to the audio guide.

Lovely museum, worth visiting! House architecture and decoration are incredible. They have a great audio guide on multiple languages, and the staff is very friendly.

Beautiful and cute resident project from Gaudí. Rich colours and massive geometric structure. Well blend of real nature and nature inspired patterns.

  • 5/5 Syl V. 2 years ago on Google
Little jewel in the heart of Gracia! Price is way lower than other Gaudi houses and it's less crowded, even though it is very likely smaller. Really recommend!

  • 5/5 Neil P. 10 months ago on Google
We enjoyed this visit, more than we expected from the pictures we had seen, the house has beautiful designs, gorgeous paintings, fantastic details. It’s easy to access off the same green metro as the other Gaudi houses..

Beautiful underrated site that is overshadowed by surrounding flathouses. This extraordinary building belongs to UNESCO heritage and worthy of visiting. It is not very crowded and one may buy tickets without waiting in the line. Memorable!

Very special house and a nice story behind it. A lot of details to be seen and take your time in the house. The best way to get there is by foot or bicycle the streets are a bit narrow. All staff can speak English so no problem. You can also use the cafe to enjoy a beer or soft drinks or get a small piece to eat

  • 5/5 Jon Espen N. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful building by Gaudi. You can walk through the entire building an all rooms with audio guide. A small cafe in the backyard. Amazing to see all the details and how beautiful everything is made. Recommend to buy tickets before you arrive.

A nice peaceful stop. The museum is very well presented, you really get to absorb the importance of Gaudis first project as a budding architect. The rooftop is beautiful as well.

  • 3/5 Todor B. 1 year ago on Google
The house is beautiful. However it's not that big - 30 minutes are enough to tour it. Other than two murals there is nothing really breathtaking. Price fee was a bit much in my opinion.

  • 4/5 Amanjeet D. 1 year ago on Google
Not quite as impressive as his later work, but unique nonetheless. Whilst again, it might not have as much ready information and sights as other establishments, it is still worth a trip if you have visited main architectural buildings in Barcelona. Tickets slightly cheaper online than at the door. Bring headphones to utilise the free information guide and speech via website QR code.

  • 5/5 Sylwia 1 year ago on Google
Admission is 20 euro per adult. That's a lot, BUT it scares a lot of tourists away so the one that pay, can enjoy visiting with no ques and crowd. All space is accessible, even the rooftop! There are many small corners with beautiful ornaments to take a selfie, there is even a professional photographer that can send you a photo on your email (for free the photo is with their logo, no logo if you pay a fee).

  • 5/5 elena x. 1 year ago on Google
Stunning amalgamation of Moorish, East Asian + Southeast Asia styles, with exquisite, handworked details inside. Only wish the former gardens & pool had been kept as well. As Gaudi's very first commission as a 25 year old, it's still a bit formal & rigid for him, but already has the imaginative hallmarks that will evolve into later fantastical masterpieces.

  • 5/5 Jamileh-Sofia d. 1 year ago on Google
The first house Gaudí built is magnificent. Everything is perfectly detailed, even the ceilings and bathrooms. A true work of art.
