Dark, and heavyset austere gothic church that is uninviting especially indoors. it costs 8 euro to go in and I'm not sure that its worth it. The tops of the interior vaults and arches look dark and as if they were moldy. The smell inside is also funky, like mold has been a permanent resident for a good while. Not the most impressive church, not even for photos as it is too dark to get a really good picture. I'd say see it, but don't bother spending too much time on exploring it, especially if you're pressed for time

Great architecture. Some tidbits of the church history inside given in English. I’ve really enjoyed the visit — note the various depicts of “Our Lady” on the side chapels — they are familiar yet uniquely different from what I know from my home country.

Something that makes this church special is that it has some giants on display, on the right in the entry hall. Giants are a whole part of Barcelona's culture, each one having its own history and personality. I honestly don't know the story of these ones.

One of the great examples of Catalan gothic architecture. A jewel of the city and a great place to learn about the history of the city. Climb the tower for great views and return at night for a concert!

Very old Gothic Basilica. Well preserved. Nothing fancy. There was a concert inside tonight. It's only open a few hours a day to the public.

(Translated by Google) It is known that there was a church outside the city walls in 987 and west of Barcelona. It was a small Romanesque church dedicated to the blessed lady (one of the titles of the Virgin Mary) of this pine tree. The church was mostly built between 1319 and 1391. It was opened on June 17, 1453. The style of the church is Catalan Gothic, and there is only one nave, with almost no decoration. The ceremony Peter donated in 1460 until his death in 1460 in 1460 to start building the bell tower, which ended in 1379 with works directed by Bartomeu Mas. We had the great fortune of coming here for a classical guitar concert. The acoustics were great and the small audience size made it such a special experience.

Spectacular Gothic church. Time took his toll on it, but it's worth to go inside. It would be even better if window with stained glass were better exposed. Worth 5 euro ticket.

Fantastic church in the Gothic quarter, there was an art installation when we visited. The interior is imposing and peaceful to wonder through, there are more exhibits in the adjoining rooms. Highlight was the garden with the resident cat "Romy". Tickets include timed entry to the bell tower, which you can return to use also

Stunning views from the top of the tower. There were lots of stairs to climb, but it was worth it. Take into consideration that the tower entrance is at specific times and sometimes the tower is closed for visiting due to weather conditions. One downside: there's plenty of pigeon droppings on the stairs and window sills on the lower floors of the tower.

This is a very beautiful building. Nice architecture, classic oil paintings, much plated metal and world-class masonry. And what a pillar! My only complaint is that their votive candles are electronic, and wax.

Definitely worth a visit if you have more time in Barcelona. The Basilica is a lesser-known church and historical building than the Sagrada Familia or the Cathedral, but it has a charm of its own with a 14th-Century gothicness to it that is lovely, for those into this style. Entrance is cheap and funds the renovation of the church - renovations that are desperately needed.

(Translated by Google) Definitely one of the most beautiful churches in Barcelona! It's a bit hidden in the maze of streets of the Gothic Quarter, but it's worth looking for it. The huge facade dominates the small del Pi Square, and the church itself has an amazing atmosphere - in the dark interior you can feel the atmosphere of bygone ages!
