We stayed at Camping Barcelona for two nights in our motorhome on a regular pitch and thoroughly recommend it. - Very well located for visiting Barcelona. - The direct coach from the campsite to Barcelona goes at 9am and 10.30am for €3.90 which you can book a seat for online and takes just 40 minutes to get to Placa Catalunya. You can get a ~7pm coach back or we opted to stay later and took the R1 train back to Mataro for €4.60. - The free shuttle back and forth to the train station and beaches in Mataro is extremely regular and makes it so convenient to go out without having to take your motorhome. - The on site shop has all the essentials you could need. - Very pet friendly. Dogs are allowed in the chill out and pool area as well as the restaurant and on the coach and shuttle so our golden retriever had a brilliant stay. - The showers are big cubicles so there is space to change, with a nice large shower head and continuous hot water. - Toilet roll is provided and there are seats on the toilets. - Bathrooms are very clean. - Excellent facilities. The pool is large and sun loungers are free. - Water is on your own site as well as plenty of electricity points. - The best washing up facilities I’ve seen on a campsite! Double sinks with plugs and spray taps. - Quiet location set back from the road but with a sea view.

I rode here from France and this site is the same price as the site I stayed in there. That's where the similarity ends, This Place is clean well equipped Friendly and the drinks are not just reasonable ,they are cheap. Beautiful place. With all amenities. Can't brag it up enough. 5 star , . Got a nice pool as well.

Well we shall start by saying we booked this campsite for a caravan and a family of 4 in 2019 ready for the summer of 2020 then BANG!! COVID broke out. The campsite were great they were going to refund the deposit, but we said no as we were coming when the restrictions were lifted, didn't think it would take us till October 2022 with no caravan as we sold it, but they do have bungalows,so that's what we booked. 1st impressions of the bungalow was great fairly clean and equipped, miss read that there isn't a oven, the AC unit needs a deep clean had to ask for the jug for the coffee machine. They offer a free shuttle to Mataro and a bus €3.90 to Barcelona or from Mataro you can catch the train to Barcelona we used the T-usual train card which you may want to look into.

It is expensive for what it is. The showers and toilets are old and could be refurbished. If you are not planning to take advantage of the bus to Barcelona centre there is no point staying here.

It is probably the best campsite if you want to visit Barcelona. 40min bus shuttle for few euros will take you directly from the campsite to the city centre. The campsite itself is nice too. There is a restaurant with good food and atmosphere.

The staff is really friendly and nice. Pool with a view and chillout place (where dogs are allowed). Few shuttle to the beach ( no direct access), trees at the pitches give share.good for a day, or if you want to visit Barcelona city.

Super 2 nights stay beside the chickens & goats & donkey in this very friendly & efficiently ran campsite.!this was our 18th one on this trip. One of the best! 1st one in Spain. Staff in restaurant are super! Juan made our stay!!live music both nights! Bought some of the campsite Gin (super botanicals!!) & Wine for home!! Was super busy but lots of facilities for all. Bus in & out to Barcelona super cheap & made a great day not driving the camper! Would not bring a camper into Barcelona city, traffic way too heavy & all park are underground!!

I really enjoyed the stay here. Wide plots and easy to maneuver the car+caravan. Nice pool and services. Very friendly camping team. It was difficult to fight with the sticky acacia flowers and the tree flees coming from everywhere. However, the management solved the flee issue quickly.

Absolutely the best camping on our whole honeymoon travel! Warm, huge showers, everything clean, our place was pretty with view on a sea, one minus - is a bit loud, because of the trains

The site has a free bus to local town for shopping and bar life, there is also a bus that goes to and from Barcelona which is particular good value, the camp restaurant on the other hand is not so good and I little expensive for what it is. The site is OK for camping but there are no bins apart from at the front gate and a limited number of wash rooms on site. Which is quite a nice one. Overall just about worth the money to stay on this site. Would I stay here again? Only if I wanted to visit Barcelona.

We stayed for 10 nights on a deluxe pitch. Unfortunately we were not able to use our discount acsi card for this pitch. The site is well connected to get to Barcelona for the day. The traffic noise from the nearby road & train at times is noisy and woke me up several times when in bed sleeping. The campsite has a lovely swimmimg pool and bar area as a chill out area to relax. The gardens and grounds are well maintained and staff friendly and helpful. Multi lingual staff in reception are very informed. When booking its a little misleading as it looks as if one can walk straight down to the beach from the resort. Unfortunately this is not the case because of the busy road and railway line. However there is a free courtesy bus to the beach which takes about 15 mins. Its a dog friendly site which meant we were able to include our dog in all our adventures. Good toilet and shower facilities, laundry room, shop and restaurant.

Great campsite. Well laid out and maintained. Excellent restaurant and well stocked shop with loads of fresh produce. The pitches were spacious, but not much shade, however our week long stay coincided with 8 or more super large motor homes, it felt a bit like parking up in a municipal bus station for a week as our pitch was located right in the middle of these giants. Laundry facilities were excellent and the toilet and shower blocks very clean. Downside of this campsite is the location. We were on one of the larger pitches at the front of the site, next to the very busy road and railway line so the noise was fairly constant 24/7, we were more bothered by the road traffic than the railway. Also, being located on a very busy road, it didn’t feel too safe to leave the campsite on foot, and it was only by accident that we found an underpass nearby on our last day.

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a big campground but we'll laid out although it could do with another toilet amenity near the back. The campsite is well managed and the restaurant did a delicious paella.

Great site with its own pool. Showers and toilet area was clean. Had a free shuttle to and from Mataro which was a great extra. From there you could get the train to Barcelona. The site also has a separate coach which I understand goes into Barcelona daily, there is a charge for this. Brilliant base for visiting Barcelona and Mataro. Really enjoyed our stay.

A handy site to visit Barcelona, the site runs a shuttle return service twice a day for a charge. There is also a shuttle service to the local beach. A large site with small pitches with everyone packed in. We have a small unit and there was not enough space to put our canopy up. Nice swimming pool although we didn’t have time to use it. Excellent showers, large cubicles and plenty of hot water. Clean facilities.

Upon entering the site looks fantastic. Restaurant awful. Reception ok. Free shuttle to mataro. Nothing in mataro not worth a visit. Bus to Barcelona 3.90 each way good service. Don’t be misled by the Website as the spa and wellness is in Mataro. Never saw animals either. Some areas of the campsite are like Shanty Town others ok. Toilet Shower block old and not very clean. Good pool area. Some great large pitches for vehicles over 10m. 40 minutes drive from Barcelona. If you have a car good location to visit Tossa de mar. Sitges etc.

The camping was cozy and okay facilities. The ground was not great for setting up a tent. The 24 hour barcelona shuttle that they promise on their website is a lie. You can take a shuttle for free to a train station, that you have to pay for and ride for 40min. Twice a day they have a shuttle directly to barcelona, you pay for this as well. The shuttle to and from the train stops at 10pm. So definetly not 24 hour. Dissapointing

Excellent campsite with all amenities close to Barcelona. Good showers, place to wash dishes, everything is clean and tidy. A little more expensive than I expected and a little noisy from the road, so it's better to take places further inland and further from the road if quiet is important to you. But otherwise, I liked everything. I recommend!

Easy to visit Barcelona with bus from camping. Friendly staff. Clean shower etc. For a beach holiday I would pick a different place. Restaurant was good enough, pool looked great.

We were on a plot with our campervan, our 1st visit and certainly not going to be our last. A well placed site with ALL the facilities you would need. Staff were all very helpful & friendly. Ideal for visiting Barcelona with bus service. We really enjoyed our week there. Thanks for making our visit an enjoyable one 😊 😀

Great camping, all necessities are there. The walking path to the beach / city is very rugged, but they offer a free shuttle so no worries. Best place to stay with a camper when you want to visit Barcelona. We had our dog with us and had a lovely two nights!

Horrible experience. I’d have been better parking my van in a car park. This place really put a downer on what is a wonderful part of the world. Crowded, disastrous layout and unhelpful staff. Just avoid it.

Clean and generally fine, shade from trees was great for us “tenters”. Staff are nice and the pool a good size - the pool deck need some more parasols! Should be called Mataro Camping, and it’s cut off from surroundings by roads and train’s. But still a popular spot. The restaurant on the site is fine; they exceeded my expectations by serving a nice tortellini with goat cheese, pear and cream sauce, that’s a recommendation - the schnitzels are NOT.

Small pitch and busy site. Great pool but also busy. Close to beaches and pretty easy to access Barcelona city via (paid) shuttle bus.

Concur with all of the preceding comments. Shuttle service is excellent and a good thing due to lack of public transportation. Cycling to Mataro is possible but there is no dedicated lane so caution is key. Restaurants’ late dinner opening a challenge to get back on time with last shuttle of the day. Our review about the on location restaurant differs however. No Spanish dishes; lots and lots of nonfresh pizzas. Food really not very good and service was poor. Maybe better in height of tourist season but not in late September.

Nice place near Barcelona. There's a bus service to tht city center (cheaper and faster than the train) and a free one to the beach and train station in Mataró. Facilities were clean, restaurant and bar are decent.

Nice campsite nice bar and restaurant. Free shuttle to train station then 45 minutes on train into Barcelona. Great for visiting Barcelona

Really well organized camping with everything you can wish for. Quite pricey considering you do not have any nearby beach if you do not take the bus. However I really appreciated that they offer a free shuttle to Mataro and the beach.

Great camp for families and travel into Barcelona. Good bar, evening entertainment and supermarket. Toilet block needs refurbishment and better cleaning. Additional electric plug in and water supplies needed.

Excellent campground located north of the town of Mataro. About 45 min train ride into the center of Barcelona. There is a daily bus from the campground at 0900 (return 1900) or you can take the shuttle every 1/2 hour into Mataro and take the train. Very nice staff, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Facilities are new and kept up well. Toilets and showers clean and maintained. Highly recommend this campground if you are coming for Barcelona. It’s a little further out than your other choice of camping but worth the extra travel time for the comforts that you feel.

Very good camping, clean, kind staff, sanitary fascilities are ok. There is free bus to Mataro. And there is a possibility to go by bus to Barcelona too but it's not free.

Very nice camping, lovely staff members and a very nice view. The only thing i disliked was that there was no short walk to the beach nor a city.

👍👍 Well, I haven't been at the campsite for a while, I see the rules well, for everyone's respect, at the moment very happy and especially the children. To make a point, paying for the paddle and tennis court, when in theory you already pay for having your plot and use of facilities.
