So Barcelona has this miniature steam railway that's only open on Sunday mornings, that doesn't appear in any of the tourist literature I've seen. I've been here 6 years and only just found out about the place. It's set in a lovely park with great adventure playgrounds for smaller people ;) set back behind the ring road at the bottom of Collserola above Pedralbes. Great views over the city and some lovely walks through the forest - and this volunteer-run (I believe) miniature train track offering rides to the public. Really lovely.

The trip is lovely however it is a very long queue to get on and they charge for every person, including babies!

Very cool park and space to go with children. A shame that politics has eliminated the pony ride

A good place to pass some time with the little ones. Kids enjoy the experience and to get up close with the little trains, and the large park around it has many playgrounds to enjoy too.

Ideal for spending the day as a family with children. There are games for the little ones and a fantastic train. Pets can be brought!

Very funny. There are different convoys (with roof and without roof). The route is entertaining with tunnels and traveling through a rugged area. The driver is properly uniformed.

Very good, lucky that there are still people who take care of the passion for trains

Miniature train for kids (maybe up to 10) run by an association that maintains the installations. Ticket price is only 1,5€. After the ride on the train, you can go with the kids to see the ponies.

Love the place. Train rides only Sundays, playgrounds and walk in the nature. Not quite sure if the pony riding is still there.

Perfect family place with little kids. At the same time great for young adults or/and adults who are train enthusiast nature lovers or even one time visitors

Cool small train ride for kids.y daughter wanted to go twice There was a small queue, the ride is probably a bit more than 5 mins. It's 2€ and I think they only take cash. The park where it is located is high on hill, so however you go, ensure you are prepared. The park is nice, but lots of ups and downs

Nice views but closed in winter and quiet expensive for a smallish theme park.

Great place to go with the kids on a train! Great big park around the kids train station. The team there is all about the train, beautiful collection, there is also a guided tour. Cheap tickets, only minus: only open on Sundays!

The park is a bit disappointing. The playgrounds are really nice, although it is problematic with a buggy or stroller because of the hills. However, largely smooth roads. It's a shame that the train only runs on Sundays... the Castel is a joke! A poorly preserved ruin.
