There are visits every Sunday at 11 AM. They are in Catalan, with the exception of the second week of the month. Although the site generates very bad vibes, the explanation is excellent and it is well worth the visit

It's already history, but when you start going down underground from shelter 233 in Vila de Gràcia, you immediately notice the suffering, anguish and anxiety that the neighbors had to go through in order to survive an unjust and wasted civil war. The guide, an infinite 10, because he told us the history of the civil war better than we could study it, read it and understand it, so I recommend you to visit this shelter and see how much leave, you will leave with a reflection, we want peace and never more war.

Very cool! Good within the bad, of course! I mean that it is very well preserved and our guide knew a lot about the subject and explained everything to us very well. We could even see a second shelter that is two blocks from this one. The entrance price is €3 per person. in cash and it is better to make a prior reservation by email.

Very interesting visit to the bomb shelter in Plaça del Diamant. Explanations and context by a historian who presents the historical period and the circumstances that generated it in a very didactic way.

Highly recommended experience. And if you are accompanied by an expert, as in my case, by Josep Maria Contel, it is already a luxury.

(Translated by Google) Taking advantage of the Gràcia festivities, last Saturday, I saw people at the entrance paying a visit and signed up, the next one, €3. It starts with an explanation on the exit panel holder followed by the entry panel holder. The guy was very didactic, with a very complete explanation (almost an hour long) of the context of the war and all the details of the shelter and how it was lived. There are only two open in BCN, this one and the other one in Poble Sec (the bigger one). Highly recommended unless you have mobility issues as the stairs are straight, although there were some older ladies there and they were able to get down, very carefully. The shelter is as it is, without modifications, except for the railings on the stairs and the interior light. It is in the middle of the square, to the south.
