It was a very good tapas restaurant! They had a menu on the table for brunch, if you want to eat tapas, just ask them for the menu for tapas! Definitely recommend the steak with foie! If you want the tomatoes bread, you don’t need to order it, cause they already have it with the Spanish omelette! The food was good with the nice prices. They don’t speak well English, and don’t expect the service to be excellent. Otherwise it was a good place to eat tapas!

I don’t know where can i start in 5 days we visit this place 2 times and it was amazing! I guess we try half of the menu, everything is delicious, great iberian hams, excellent tapas+ very good services and best fresh sangria i think. Definitely try this place more than once

Estas tapas! Que rico! The restaurant is understandably successful and has a very large interior seating along with outdoor seating. Try to make a reservation ahead of time to ensure you have the space! We went with no reservation and luckily had a short wait for a party of 3. Initially, I did not expect much as the interior isn’t much decorated and the tables are a bit shabby. However, the food is truly delicious and fun! Sangria is one of the MOST delicious I’ve had in all of Spain. Paella and mushroom dishes were amazing! The seafood was not worth it, I found too much sand in the razor clams and shrimp were small and unclean… stick to the regular, non-seafood dishes no matter how tempted you are. Water is bottled and NOT free but the service is impeccable. Small bathrooms on a second floor but kept clean as well.

What a delight to experience the true Spanish tapas food. The place is beautifully decorated and welcoming. It is always crowded, but the staff is organized and able to get you a table timely. We got seats on the bar, excellent to see the food been prepared. We really enjoyed all dishes we ordered. The only downside is fewer vegan options: mushrooms with asparagus, eggplant chips (no honey) or roasted peppers. The chips were delicious! However, the overall menu is extensive and this is a great place to have typical local food with lots of seafood and meat. My husband rates it 5 stars. In my vegan option, 3 stars.

Great tapas restaurant. Very busy. There are tons of tables, both indoor and outdoor. We came around 1PM and there we were easily seated as a table of four. They wouldn't seat us until our whole party was here, which was a bit annoying, but we weren't too staggered. The restaurant is quite extensive. The prices are pretty good, but we were pretty confused about how big the tapas would be. For example, a single mini hamburger was around €4, while a plate of seafood rice was only €9. There are definitely some items that are more worth it than the others. The taste is also pretty good, I particularly enjoyed a Caesar salad and seafood rice. We ordered the beef tenderloin and taquitos which never came - we asked about it towards the end of the meal and ended up cancelling them. The service in general was pretty brief and impersonal, but it did the job. They also warned us about potential pickpockets in the restaurant and to keep an eye on our stuff. Overall we spent around €60 for four people, and ordered around 10 tapas and some drinks. Good experience and well recommended.

I wish I could have given this place 6 stars if I could. The restaurant is truly unique and local. Absolutely loved the variety of the Tapas and their breakfast is amazing ! We had to wait a short while to find a lovely place to sit and we ordered right away. Ordering was a bit tricky as we didn't understand the menu so decided to look at the pics and ordered. We ended up ordering quite a lot of things and trust me everything was amazing ! The freshly squeezed orange juice was gorgeous and the coffee was aromatic and flavourful. Will surely love to go back here again!

Absolutely snobbish waitress and flavorless food. The waiting lady keep telling everyone it’s 1 hour regardless of people, and when I asked how many people were in front of me, she replied ‘ I don’t know. You get your table when you get your table.’ Ruins the mean before it even started. After half an hour I got a table, luckily, but the food was mediocre at best. The octopus was too salty, the sweet clam was fishy (an indication of low quality! I grew up near shore). The tomato bread? Street shop quality worse than free ones I’ve had. There are some meat tapas looked great, but unfortunately all three of my tries were absolute fail (with high price).

Excellent tapas! Must order the codfish, it will melt in your mouth. Great to share with a big crowd so you can try different tapas. There’s usually a long queue on peak hours and cannot make a reservation.

Best tapas you will ever have in your life. This place has a queue from 12pm for lunch so get there by 11am. Only downfall is that you have to reserve week in advance for inside seating and if you're sat outside, impatient punters keep walking up to you from their queue and giving you dirty looks.

Such a wonderful place, we got this tip from the owner of Bodega Marin (visit bodega Marin amazing restaurant) We wanted something that had good quality food with a Spanish Vibe but also down to earth. And that exactly what we got!! You can’t book so you just go there put yourself on a list and wait for them to scream your name and I can tell you one thing it’s a big restaurant and it’s packed and then you know it’s good. Very good Spanish tapas food with super nice staff. If ever in Barcelona plz go here!

I've been acquainted with this restaurant since 2001, and returning here is always a delightful experience. They continue to serve authentic Catalan cuisine, and in my opinion, it offers the finest tapas in Barcelona. It's a local gem, drawing fewer tourists than the bustling city center's tourist traps. I do recall it being a bit more crowded in recent years, resembling a bustling bar, and I noticed that most of the front-of-house staff are now from the Philippines. I'm not entirely sure how this has affected the overall experience, but it remains a must-visit place, well worth any wait in the queue.

Tried a few tapas place and this stands out as my favorite. I think the constant queue from noon to late nights also say a lot. Love the stuffed squid, tenderloin and cod in cheese. If you're a tourist like me, you should try calcotada, a uniquely local delicacy

Absolutely loved this place! The first tapas place I tried in Spain and didn't want to go anywhere else. My waitress was very kind and gave me excellent recommendations. I tried their Garlic prawns, Margret of duck with chutney fruit, sauteed squid/mushroom/jabugo ham,  and sangria. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely amazing. My taste buds danced like never before!

In my opinion the best tapas in town... we couldn't stop trying almost everything from the menu!! The shrimps and the beef were definitely the highlights. The service do the best in a place that everyone wants to visit so it's possible to wait a bit to get a table. Max 40 min in a busy day. But I totally totally totally recommend it

Our friend who lives in Barcelona wanted to take us to this restaurant. At first we were worried about the 45min wait time and the long line but the restaurant is very big and with the fast service the wait isn’t bad. All the food was delicious and well prepared. They have an extensive menu so try a variety of dishes. Hard to pick a favourite but I’m leaning towards all the seafood dishes.

Arrived on a busy Thursday night to a fully packed resturant with lots of people waiting outside. Was told the wait time would be 30 minutes however they managed to sit us at the bar after only 10 minutes. Food was amazing! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection however the favourite of the night is definitely the grilled cod. Ordered 10 tapas in total including dessert and left full. Service was extremely fast which was surprising with it being fully packed. We ordered more tapas throughout the meal and was still able to finish dinner in just over an hour. Our server/bartender was attentive and helpful. He also spoke English which is a big plus since we don't speak Spanish. Didn't get his name but he was the older gentleman with glasses. Would definitely recommend a visit but you might want to call ahead or go later at night (10:30pm or later).

Overrated. Food was mediocre compared to a traditional tapas joint in Spain. Dishes lacked the complexity and freshness you'd expect of tapas. Tasted like they were cooked in a hurry without proper attention to seasoning. Location of the restaurant was great and service was prompt.

I am not sure if other people mentioned it, but there is a totally different place with the exact menu of this place that is also very popular. The atmosphere is really good, everything is well prepared and ready to be served right away. You can watch them cook, which takes just a few seconds to cook. I am not very familiar with seafood, so maybe that is normal. I can't recommend any specific food here, everything is just casual that you can find anywhere. There was nothing I really loved, it was just average for me.

Awesome especially if you are traveling with toddlers! Top notch high chairs and a great toilet with changing room. In terms of food - our 3yo ate all the asparagus - I think that sums it up!

Fantastic place incredibly busy. Good luck for finding a table, be ready to queue but it will be worth it! We were added on the list and had an hour wait but me managed to squeeze in the bar top stool and I annoyed the real experience! The artichoke crisps are my new addiction! The food quality is amazing, the staff is very friendly, speak good English and the service is fast. Particularly indicated if you are a fish lover

Best tapas in Barcelona. Everything is absolutely delicious and made fresh, we went twice during our 5 day trip! We went during lunch and were able to get seats at the bar, it wasn’t too busy. We then went around 5:30 for dinner, and by 6pm the place was packed! Would highly recommend ordering the salmon and crab tapas, but everything on the menu is delicious. We can see why it’s so well known in Barca.

(Translated by Google) It is a well-known place. The food is pretty good. But you can't book, we were 3 friends and until the 3 of us were there physically they didn't give us a table. We were 2 waiting for the 3rd person and they didn't give it to us until it arrived. I find it fatal. Waiters all the time on top because you eat fast, it gives the feeling that they do not want you to be too long, to give table to people waiting right there. Do they make us wait because we are not there at 3 and then they squeeze? You go to lunch and you go out overwhelmed. I do not recommend it if you want a quiet lunch. (Original) Es un lloc conegut. El menjar força be. Vas a dinar i surts agobiat. No ho recomano si vols un dinar tranquil.

(Translated by Google) They have a bottle of hydro-alcoholic gel in front of the bar. People are setting and the ground is impregnating. As a result of the gel on the floor, I fell and hurt my right hand badly. I have warned the staff on several occasions mainly to avoid other accidents. They have not paid attention, they have only worried about giving me a cloth with some ice cubes and they have continued to do their thing. Almost at the end and when we had already paid the bill, they were interested to know how it was. (Original) Tienen enfrente de la barra una botella de gel hidro-alcoholico. Casi al final y cuando ya habíamos pagado la cuenta, se han interesado por saber como estaba.

Great interiors, lovely staff and service. Food was really great, we ate here for our first meal in Barcelona and we were very happy. The eggplant chips were a pleasant surprise and was very delicious. We ordered a few tapas and I really loved the scallops and shrimp one.

Mixed bag here. We had bad service and it took us over ten minutes, before waving down staff to even get given a menu. In terms of food, we really enjoyed the beef with foie gras and the mini ham burger. However the cod flavours were a bit odd and the prawns were a bit salty. I think we'd enjoy it better on another day and making a few modifications to our order!

Amazing tapas, close to the main shopping mile in Barcelona. Be prepared to wait - outside line is typically 10-30min in the evening and the service inside takes a bit longer too. But staff is very friendly and overall worth the wait!

Pretty super. Really fresh and flavourful. Perhaps fairly authentic? [only locals can confirm 😅]. Sangria was nice too 🍹. Factor in wait times.. though they move fast through the queue (if you are 2 people).

I’m always happy when I manage to discover a really great place from all aspects next to to touristic places as normally it’s against the rules. This one is definitely an exception: the variety of tapas is impressive, everything is super tasty, the service is super friendly and there’s lots of place inside so not that difficult to find a place to sit. Highly recommended after visiting the touristic center for a nice lunch.

Came here for lunch, and the wait was only a few minutes to sit at the bar. We tried the potato omelette, razor clams, shrimp, octopus, and cuttlefish and meatballs. I enjoyed everything! The omelette had a great flavor. It was slightly oily, but I loved it. The octopus was tender and was perfection. This was my fave! The cuttlefish dish was a little salty, but the cuttlefish was tender.

Picture this: a fabulous eatery nestled in the heart of the city center, beckoning you with its easy access location. The moment you step inside, the vibes transport you to a world of gastronomic bliss. The ambiance is simply marvelous, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! the variety here is simply mind-blowing. From delectable appetizers to mouthwatering mains and divine desserts, this place has it all. I found myself wishing I had a bottomless stomach to savor every single dish on the menu. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, dancing on my palate and leaving me craving for more. Of course, like every coin, there's a flip side. The only downside I encountered was the waiting time. You see, this popular spot operates on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning no reservations allowed. So, be prepared to exercise a little patience before you can dive into the culinary delights that await you. But trust me, my fellow food lovers, it's absolutely worth the wait. In conclusion, this place is an absolute must-visit for any self-respecting foodie. I, for one, will most certainly be returning for another round of epicurean indulgence. So, gather your fellow food enthusiasts and embark on a gastronomic journey that will leave you with memories to savor for a lifetime. Bon appétit!

The food is ok, the waiters are kind BUT the woman at the door is not very nice. She can do her job without being rude to people, some of whom wait up to 45min for a table. You should improve the customer service because it’s not worth waiting.

La comida es muy de tapeo con buenos sabores. Siempre hay colas de gente esperando para entrar ¿por algo será? Buen precio

Definitely worth a visit, we went around 18:30 and luckily got seated quickly. It gets crazy busy and I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes to get seated. Food was enjoyable but service took a long time and a few items had to be reordered. Careful sitting outside at the end cause the traffic rushes by and kicks up some dirt/leaves. Would sit inside next time for sure!

I totally understand the hype around this restaurant! Best tapas EVER. Each dish was very savoury and the staff was incredibly professional. Since the prices are very reasonable, you can try many different tapas among the diversity they offer.

Not the first, not the last to say this- Worth The Wait! So good we came back three days in a row. The wait is never as long as they say which is great. The food is fresh and no matter how gourmet you are it’s very delicious. Our servers were attentive and informative. I’m sure y’all will Enjoy. 😉

Great place with proper Spanish tapas for a good price. Book a table a few days in advance. The part of the restaurant where we seated was quite noisy because of the dishwasher and staff fuss but overall we had a good lunch there.

Really good and delicious tapas. The waiters are very professional. Cozy outdoor environment even if construction is taking place nearby. And if you can’t find a free table outside, there’s plenty of space inside. When you come to this place, you can see a lot of people standing in line, but don’t be afraid that the line is moving fast.

I went here with a friend who is a local. The place doesn’t allow reservation so we just turned up for the waiting list and took a walk for 30-40 minutes. Definitely worth the wait! Best tapas I have tried while in Barcelona.

Visited for lunch on 15 march 2022. We came by this place from a recommendation, and were in love with the food and the food sizes. It is good because it lets us try out lots of variety of food without feeling too full and each dish is kind of affordably priced too. If you aren't feeling too hungry and wish to grab a small bite here, it is possible! I find that most places served too big a serving anyway, and charged too much. The food is good but the place was a little bit crowded and the staffs were very busy.

it is too popular to eat. normally the waiting time during the peak would be more than one hour. After waiting such long time, my expectation was so high but it definitely a disappointment. i ordered the most popular dishes and liked the prawns mostly. i like their drink and the other dish are not bad. in general it is a good one but not that great and worthy to wait so long time. As there are too many good tapas restaurants in Barcelona.

Hands down the best food of our Barcelona trip! Seafood was fresh and everything tasted great. Service was good and fast. Would recommend getting there slightly earlier if you don’t have a reservation as we had to wait almost 45 minutes in line (we got there at 6pm).

Fairly long wait for a table during lunch but as to be expected. Service was okay but fairly rushed due to the long wait? The food came out quickly. The black cod and mushrooms were AMAZING. Sangria was a bit too sweet for our liking but still good.

Wawwww if you are looking for a great tapas experience this is your place it's so good that it's busy most of the time you... so keep it mind that you have to wait!!!! The food is just perfect and the price is okay for the location and for the quality. Also the food comes out very quickly... the food is fresh!!!! Wonderful experience

Great Tapas in Barcelona. Full of tourists but the food and service are good and worth a try. We arrived at 6 pm and luckily there was no wait for two seats at the bar. Beef tenderloin is a must to have! Very delicious. Recommended if you visit Barcelona.

Very good tapas restaurant, more like a fusion of other cultures. The razor clams and beef tenderloin with foie were great dishes. The must get is the cod fish with honey ailoi sauce. Prepare for a wait though!

30 to 60 minutes wait? Yes, always! But every minute of wait is completely worth it! Perfect Tapas Style, every single dish was simply AMAZING. We tried so many dishes, and every single one of them had excellent taste and very well presented. Beers and Wine, they hardly had any liquor… Beer, wine and the best food!!! I highly recommend this place!

Tried several tapas dishes which were all fresh and tasty at reasonable prices despite its fame. Service was fantastic as well. Great place to try different small dishes and experience spanish food. The honey cod seems to be a signature dish that is pleasant balance of both savory and sweet. Also try the torrija for dessert. The server recommended as their specialty and was glad that we tried it. Fluffy and delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the best tapas restaurant in Barcelona, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. We were seated quickly at the counter as they were the only spots left, and ended up with an incredible server who was both hilarious and attentive. He let us stay longer than we should have, as we kept ordering more and more food and drinks. He was so funny and really elevated our experience. I wish I could remember his name, but he definitely made this experience memorable. As far as the food goes, 90% of it was amazing. The prawn dishes and the steak on bread were particular highlights. The wine was also super affordable, and we will definitely be visiting this restaurant anytime we're back in Barcelona. Overall, it was a truly memorable dining experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Too touristic, average food. Would prefer a more local but smaller place. Food is not extraordinary. Bacalao was not cooked well.

It might be my problem as I had high expectations for them from reviewing comments online. The Spanish omelet and seafood(clams, razor clams, shrimp and mussels) doesn't taste good. Mountain rice, bravas(potatoes), and grilled cuttlefish were great. Croquettes and mini burger were decent for my kid.

Great tapas, best value you will ever get for the price it costs by far. The staff is also very friendly. Ask for Janet as a waiter, great experience guaranteed.

The food was extremely mediocre and the service was BAD. Imagine the pan con tomate, a classic that is simple but always delicious, was served over bread that was stale and tasted like nothing. With all of the great restaurants in barcelona, do not waste your time coming here. In shock that it was a 45 minute wait and rated well. Pleaseeeee do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here.

Every time I'm in Barcelona I come here for dinner. The food is always wonderful, delicious, unique. The staff is very nice, efficient, advises, and does not rush :) Despite the long waiting time, it is worth waiting for all these delicacies. we will definitely come back again!

Arrived on a busy Friday evening (around 7pm). They said it would take 15-20min to seat us but we were in 10min later. Food arrived super quickly (did feel a bit like the waiters were trying to rush us to order) and was very high quality! Tasted amazing, would recommend ordering a lot as portions are quite small. Overall, super fast paced restaurant with great food.

The restaurant is the best in town. We have to queue to table but not too bad.! Food is amazing. Every choice is perfect. Seafood is perfect cook with tasted. However, size of food is tiny so careful when you order.

Great place albeit expansive. There are usually very busy. I like the food but I wouldn’t wait in line for a long time for it. I think I waited an hour to get in. Cod honey and desert were awesome.

A must for Catalan tapas in the center of Barcelona. While the place gets crowded in the weekend during dinner time, it is indeed worth making a reservation or coming earlier/on a weekday. The staff is welcoming and the waiting doesn’t seem long. The variety of different tapas in the menu is remarkable. Apart from classics, there are some daily specials and chef creations. Feel free to ask the staff for any recommendations. Definitely a place to visit when in Barcelona.
