Extremely good restaurant, service was top class. Caring and knowledgeable. Food was beautifully prepared. Some dishes were outstanding and some were mediocre. Salt cod in Rosa tomato for one was 10/10. Lambs brains was 2/10. Beautiful restaurant decor also. Price higher than other similar options.

I went to L’Olive this evening, everything was wonderful. I ate fish sole with vegetable, the best fish I ate in my life, a must try. Johhny was really helping with the recommendations for food and wines. Thank you so much for the experience. Also, it was my birthday, and they brought the cheesecake with a candle from the house. The serving was top notch, and I will definetively come back!🤍

Great sea food and classic style in Barcelona. Highly recommend the Sea Bream, the spicy oil highlights the firm texture with abundant flavors.

We were in Barcelona on a short break, walked passed this restaurant a few times and walked in on a Saturday evening. We were lucky enough to have the last available table. The staff are friendly, the interior is good and welcoming. The food also is very good, all tables were taken and staff were still very attentive.

For a restaurant this fancy great service is expected. They did mostly a good job up until when we took our time going through our mains (the dish got cold and there was a lot of fat to cut through) and different servers came around multiple times trying to clear our table. We relented at the third time. I really liked the octopus starter but less impressed by the expensive dry aged T-bone steak. Dessert was okay.

Typical Spanish restaurant in Barcelona. High quality Fish as well as meat are present in the menu, together with the typical pan con tomate, Jamon and croquetas you may chose to start. Also quality and variety of wine Menu are remarkable. Service and prices are in the average of this kind of high end restaurant.

Great food & service. The restaurant is a little more upscale, but it's worth the extra price if you want a special meal. The Carpaccio melts in your mouth, the escalivada and pan con tomate were great and the fish delicious.

On our final night in Barcelona, we wanted to wrap our our stay with more of a fine dining restaurant, but also a spot that locals would go dine as well. Our hotel concierge recommended L'Olive as a spot for us to try and I'm glad they did! We made reservations about a month or so in advance and we arrived at our dining time and was warmly greeted by the host and also were greeted even by the kitchen chef team as we were walking to our table. The restaurant is pretty large and is very elegant, a true fine dining establishment! The server came by a few minutes later and greeted us as well and provided us with our menus and offered to answer any initial questions we had. They brought some olives and a few pieces of ham as complimentary starters and we ordered wine by the glass for I believe around 5 or 6 euros a glass. The wine was very tasty and a great value. The starters were also a nice touch as well! For appetizers, we ordered the Catalan bread for 4 euros, along with the croquettes for 3 euros each. Both were great choices for starters, and we enjoyed all of them! We also ordered the Gazpacho soup which was on their specials for the night, and it was absolutely outstanding! It tasted very fresh and the server also brought soup toppings by as well which we were able to select from. We ordered the Grilled Beef Filet, including fries for 34 euros each and the cut of meat was absolutely amazing! All food we tried was amazing and very flavorful and was a standout meal from our trip. We highly recommend trying the restaurant if you're in Barcelona!

I ordered the cod with ratatouille for my entree, and it was extremely flavorful. All of our appetizers were also delicious. The wait staff were very attentive, while also not overbearing. Absolutely wonderful experience overall!

Our best food experience in Spain! The food is really good and the drinks as well, we tried the sole fish and the paella, strongly recommended!! The staff/management are professional and also fun. I booked my table online and also communicated with them via email to plan a surprise cake and they were quick to respond and were very helpful. Thank you and keep it up!

Service: A friend recommended that check out L’Olive while in Barcelona and I’m glad we went! I enjoyed the quick and accommodating dinner service. The interior of the dimly lit restaurant was also stunning! Food: For appetizers, the restaurant provides the most delicious, fresh olives and bread. For my entree, I ordered the paella and was happy that I did. The restaurant will present the paella in a flat pan and then place it on a plate for you - I loved this presentation and the attention to detail! It was very filling and appetizing. Recommendation: Overall, I would recommend trying out this restaurant.

A very good restaurant in the heart of Barcelona. The ambience and service are impeccable, from the reception girls to the maitre-d and waiters. The food is quite good and tasty, with quality ingredients and traditional combinations, but honestly not for 5 star rating; the quality-price ratio wasn't that strong.. Nevertheless, it still is one of the places worth going for a nice dinner in the city!

We came with a reservation to eat dinner, the best thing is the service, fast with a professional act and smile. Toe food was ok, we ordered paella and kid goat meat with a small starter. We paid 83 euro. In general i guess it deserves a visit and you may like it better.

This is a good restaurant. Although the food is not great, I must say that it is good. The prices are high vs. the value of the food and the service. The place is nice. I would go back to this restaurant???? ................ I don't know, but I would think twice.

A truly culinary experience! The food was superb. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection. The level of service was super professional. The ibérico we had was just amazing; buttery, and tender. The arroces (paella/risotto like) are delicious. The beef selection is great for those who don't want seafood, but the seafood selection is amazing. The Catalan wines pair well with the dinner.

Great place, nice atmosphere, good service. Great food also. The paella with vegetables was great, best I had this round in Barcelona. The olives they brought were more like kalamata style but very very good. Central enough, nicely decorated, good music that is not noticeable but makes for a nice atmosphere.
