Once
one
of
my
favorite
places
in
Barcelona,
Puglia
has
declined
quite
a
bit.
I
stopped
in
for
my
beloved
arancini
this
visit.
The
first
time,
a
few
days
ago,
I
was
treated
somewhat
rudely
by
a
woman
with
cheek
piercings.
I
asked
for
2
beers
and
she
immediately
unsealed
2
bottles
of
their
most
expensive.
I
said,
no,
I
wanted
the
San
Miguel
-she
said
you
only
said
beer
so
this
is
what
you
get.
I
will
give
that
I
did
not
specify
(I
did
not
know
there
were
other
options
other
than
the
San
Miguel
we
always
got
on
past
visits).
However,
to
not
ask
which
one
and
to
unapologetically
immediately
give
me
beers
that
are
5x
the
cost
-very
opportunistic.
Further,
although
the
restaurant
only
had
2
other
patrons
eating
at
a
table
and
no
one
else
waiting
in
line,
she
was
very
rude
and
rushed
me
along
as
though
I
was
bothering
her.
I’m
a
very
friendly
person,
I
do
not
know
why
I
was
treated
this
way.
The
arancini
were
not
very
warmed
temperature
wise
and
the
taste
was
not
as
it
was
in
the
past.
I
always
get
one
cheese
and
one
ragu.
The
ragu
was
okay,
but
it
seemed
to
be
lacking
savory
flavor
it
previously
had.
The
cheese,
formerly
my
favorite,
was
actually
unpalatable.
What
used
to
be
a
molten
center
of
soft
and
savory
cheese
-is
now
a
totally
different
gross
cheese.
If
you
like
Brie,
you
may
like
it.
I,
however,
hate
it.
It
was
a
stringy
mess
of
Brie
and
blue
cheese.
My
husband
also
did
not
care
for
the
new
recipes.
We
actually
scraped
the
cheese
off.
I
returned
a
few
days
later
to
try
the
ragu
again.
This
time
there
was
a
kind
lady
with
short,
dark
hair
at
the
register
-a
large
improvement
on
customer
service.
I’m
sad
to
say,
however,
that
the
arancini
was
very
cold
and
tasteless.
We
come
to
BCN
often
and
I
would
salivate
and
crave
these
like
no
ones
business
-now,
I’m
going
to
mourn
what
used
to
be.
The
slices
of
pizza
are
still
okay.
I
do
not
think
I
will
return.
