Charming town famous for its thermal waters with a diversity of spas, as well as for its historic center and places of interest, such as Roman Baths dating from the 2nd century BC, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, in its origins it must have been a great thermal complex whose purpose was medicinal. Currently what can be seen is a rectangular pool, the arcades and a gallery. The curious thing is that in the center of the square under the cobblestones other pools of the Roman Baths are hidden. It would be interesting if one day they could come to light and enjoy them.

Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, they date back to the 2nd century BC. C. In its origins it must have been a large thermal complex whose purpose was medicinal. Currently in the Roman Baths we can see a rectangular pool about thirteen meters long that can be accessed by some steps. It served as a caldarium (A very hot, steamy room with a pool of hot water). On the other hand, we see a gallery that still preserves the closing wall, as well as the four arches that open to the pool, built with reddish sandstone ashlars. Please note that this complex can be seen from the outside, since it is located in a closed but glassed area.

(Translated by Google) Simply spectacular. The enclosure that overflows is so beautiful, yes they have also left it free and you can always see it, well, much better. The hot springs are amazing since you can see the steps where people sat and you can see the pool in the middle. Going to Caldes and seeing this incredible piece of history is priceless (Original) Simplemente espectaculares.

A good place in the middle of town to see what the ancient Roman baths were like. Good state of conservation and very well signposted with explanatory panels and a route with footbridges that allows you to visualize the whole in more detail.

(Translated by Google) Very well preserved, it is a trip back in time. Too bad not being able to access, but it is wonderful to be able to see them and enjoy the thermal water in the fountains right in front. (Original) Muy bien conservadas, es un viaje en el tiempo. It is very well preserved and has survived to the present day. It is meticulously maintained and kept clean. And here is the unique civilization of ROME. But come and tell the Germans about this magnificence. For them, Rome was the enemy of ancient Greek civilization. Ancient Greece never remains so low and behind compared to Rome. The founding civilization of Europe was not Greece, but Great Rome.

The Termes Romanes are protected by glass through which you can see them; It is a structure from the Roman period that is preserved in very good condition. The Lion fountain is diagonal to the thermal baths and a few meters away, you go down some small stairs and you will see that the water emanating from it is steaming.

Incredible that a good part of the economy of a Vila revolves around thermal spas. Very nice place Caldes de Montbui. If you want to walk, and enjoy a place outside of Barna, but not so far from Barna, this town is ideal. If you go to the top of any of the hills the Sun shines beautifully. I couldn't take photos because I didn't need to, everything stayed in my brain. The e9 takes you in less than 1 hour.

(Translated by Google) The thermal pool that is still preserved dates from the 1st century BC, approximately twelve meters long and still retains the original water distribution. Its waters come out at a temperature of 74 degrees. The Iberians already used them as hot springs. (Translated by Google) Some Roman baths quite well preserved and open to the public. There is a bar next door that is worth sitting down for 10-15 minutes to relax and unwind. This Saturday, January 20, I had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Roman baths of Caldes de Montbui, located in the region of Vallès Oriental. First of all, to say that the tour guide was Oriol, who gave a very professional, detailed and above all very dynamic guided tour, where every moment he knew how to emphasize the most important parts. The treatment and professionalism of the two workers at the Thermalia Museum has been great. I recommend the experience to everyone, which is sure to appeal to both young and old.
