I
had
a
pretty
mixed
experience
at
this
Lush.
The
store
looked
beautiful
and
I
was
greeted
upon
arrival
but
otherwise
the
staff
was
not
the
usual
outgoing
sort
that
works
for
Lush.
That’s
fine
for
me,
I’ve
been
using
Lush
for
twenty
years
and
don’t
need
much
help
but
if
it
was
my
first
visit
I
might
have
left
without
buying
anything.
The
reason
I’m
only
giving
this
store
three
stars
is
because
when
I
asked
an
employee
for
a
soap
sample
her
reaction
was
so
off
putting
I
just
bought
the
minimum
I
came
for
without
looking
around
further.
I’ve
shopped
at
Lush
in
multiple
countries
and
every
store
I’ve
been
to
has
offered
me
samples
or
been
happy
to
make
one
for
me
if
I
asked
but
this
woman
seemed
shocked
that
would
even
ask
something
like
that
of
her.
It
was
frankly
embarrassing,
as
though
I
was
trying
to
rip
her
off
by
asking
for
a
sample.
I
have
not
been
to
a
store
in
the
Barcelona
area
since
before
COVID
so
maybe
they
no
longer
give
samples
but
there
are
nicer
ways
for
her
to
communicate
that.
Ironically
I
was
at
the
store
buying
a
product
I
tried
as
a
sample
from
a
different
store
in
Barcelona
pre
COVID
so
you
know,
sampling
does
actually
work
to
build
sales
but
making
customers
feel
bad
for
asking
does
not.
