Camping for a week. There are 10 campsites each with very nice private ablutions offering hot shower and shaded sitting space with hot and cold water basins. The ablutions are missing a screen at the entrance so neighbours can't see in but once inside the shower and bathroom, there is privacy. Campsite can be busy, but it is pleasant, clean and quite. The restaurant and bar area by the river is very nice. Service could be quicker but bar is good and the menu offers an appetising variety of food. It could be difficult for one in a wheelchair to reach many places in comfort.

Beautiful place. The ambience is amazing, right by the river. The food was excellent.

Had lunch here. Service is fantastic and food portions generous. Also good value for money. Beer a little warm and rules exist such as can’t drink out of bottles. Great view of the river. I’ll visit again.

A lovely well kept modern space. Friendly staff.. They made a plan to get us a vegan breakfast which was much appreciated.. all amenities provided including a razor and toothbrush! only thing - if you are traveling as a family.. rather ask to be kept away from the singles to mingle... as they are helluva noisy once the bar is closed... and the party seems to continue in the rooms into the early hours... all I can say is.. thank God for Netflix on my phone...

Crocodile Camp has had a much needed revamp, which is till not complete, despite their advertising of their Spa and Gymnasium, which are not yet functional or built. The rooms are much improved in terms of comfort and appointments, but the restaurant offering is quite poor, with very limited offerings. When we were guests recently, the quality of the breakfast offering was particularly poor - a very limited self service did not include fruit, toast or jams of any description. The staff, while friendly and willing, are not well trained and seem to be novices at running an hotel and a restaurant. Hopefully, things will improve, as the lodge has a superb riverside setting with many pleasant amenities.
