If you are looking for a local spot with affordable price , this is the place to go. During my stay in Maputo, I went to this restaurant three times. Every single time , the food did not disappoint and the services were fantastic. The chef is fantastic and if you love seafood; you will not be disappointed. Obrigada once again!

In general taverna has a great pastry and Portuguese food. They started a daily menu which includes coffee and soup which is quite affordable. You can get their card which gives you a 25% discount. Usually I get daily bread, homemade biscuits. The manager is very friendly and pays attention to usual customers.

I love this place for breakfast, the service is very helpful and friendly. The coffee is excellent and there is an extensive menu offering all sorts of choice across range of sweet and savoury. I had steak sandwich with chips along with omelette simples.....all were great and price is reasonable. The environment is also clean, comfortable and modern - offering opportunities to sit outside or inside.

I'm always gret with a smile, and I always have good dosage of attention to me. I see a lot of respect for the long-time customers. Always feels like going back home when I go have a coffee with potential clients here.

If your outside it's fine, over.priced perhaps, but few good cafe choices..I prefer chez fred or oak for same price

The service was slow, a mere fruit cocktail juice took more than 15min. They didn't have basics in stock. Ooh and they charge 100 meticals for a takeaway plate. Place has potential but I got to understand why it was so empty on a Friday night

Always come for the Lunch special, everyday with a different plate, with great flavor. Cakes and pastry to ruined your diet but totally worthy

Great place to chill after work and on a normal day, since they provide a basket with lots of services, from restaurant to lounges, with happy hours, good wine cellars and out seats, come and have a look asap.

Value for money - not to sure this is a thing here - paid to much for not much - wait time for an uncomplicated order excessive - service laking in commitment - uncomfortable chairs
