Terrible experience. My hair was better before the salon and after their keratin treatment and poor maintenance, my hair is a disaster. Got a scalp burn after drying my hair. I'm glad I didn't get my hair dyed at this salon like I originally planned.

I am SO glad that I got my balayage here. It took a few hours and she was so respectful of my time since I was tight on time. While I don’t speak Portuguese, she clearly understood what I wanted and suggested a better color for me than the blonde I initially was going for. Her assistant also helped grab takeout lunch from nearby for me which is just super kind service as well as treating me to a pastais de nata. Since I had to also get some work done, I could use their wifi and relax and work while they worked on my hair. Definitely recommend.

Ixia it’s an amazing, professional and very relaxing spot. Carla is an outstanding hairdresser and Catarina a talented manicurist. I totally trust them and recommend to everyone to try it.

The best hair stylists in Porto, if I could fly back from the US every 6 months I would! Super talented, smart, and funny stylists that know exactly what they are doing. We came in for a haircut and blowout for our trip to Douro Valley and ended up booking time a day later to get hair treatments because that’s how much we trusted them to do an amazing job! I have extremely coarse, dry, and curly hair and with this treatment I came out with a different head of hair! Highly recommend going in and will tell all of my US travelers to go here before heading home! Complimentary coffee and great music!!

10/10 experience. Was in Porto and in desperate need of a haircut. So happy I found Carla! Service was amazing, the staff was gentle and knowledgeable. Carla gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had, so much so that my sister went the next day to get her hair cut too. Lovely salon! Highly recommended.

I had the most wonderful experience at Ixia Salon. I am from Australia and needed my hair styled. I came here and everyone was so lovely, kind and professional. I don’t speak Portuguese but despite my language barrier, the ladies who worked here accommodated for me and also did an amazing job at styling my hair. I love it! I highly recommend this Salon if you are in Porto. I will absolutely come back here next time I am in Porto. Thankyou again xxxx

Wonderful salon- I was in Porto coming from Los Angeles for a conference and needed a hair cut and blow out.
