Restaurant Fado restaurant

🫤 The music isn't great, but enjoyable. the place isn't as nice as the original place and very touristic. The food is not the best, not bad either, but definitely overpriced. Just go for the fado and you'll be good. Just be careful for the big trap, you have to spend at least 37 euro's. We were think... People often mention good, Fado, location,

The music isn't great, but enjoyable. the place isn't as nice as the original place and very touristic. The food is not the best, not bad either, but definitely overpriced. Just go for the fado and you'll be good. Just be careful for the big trap, you have to spend at least 37 euro's. We were thinking about 2 bottles of wine each.. no food. But Portuguese food is just not our thing.. there's is no choice whatsoever and fat, bread and old olives.. well. We enjoyed, that's the main thing.

The food is good with extremely good service. Staff are super nice & friendly. Of course the dinner experience is greatly enjoyable because of the quality Fado performance

One of the most epic evenings ever. It looks very understated from the outside however the front of house service is amazing. Go for the set menu, you cannot go wrong. Stay for the live music as this is so incredible and a huge amount of fun

DEEP DIVE INTO PORTOGUESE CULTURE WITH FADO !! We spent a week in Porto and one of the highlights of our experience was the fabulous fado presentation in this excellent traditional restaurant setting. The singers and guitarists were superb! Our hosts, Vasco and Andreia, were very friendly and explained all the aspects of the fado tradition and its connection to the Portuguese culture. Richard and Merle, Ottawa, Canada

The music is amazing. The musicians are phenomenal and the singers extraordinary.Service is excellent unfortunately the food is not good. I highly recommend coming here for the atmosphere and the 37 Euro charge for food is fair.Drink and have amazing desert. You won’t be sorry

We came for the music and the music was excellent! Also the vine was fine and the service personal was very nice. overall you can‘t complain: the rate is fair. Fado in a romantic and lovely atmosphere. The food… we could have made better by ourself, even if I‘m musician and not a chief 😉

Really nice place to eat good food and enjoy fado. We went for my girlfriend's birthday first to casa da Mariquinhas but there was no more space, so they recommended us to go to the Pateo da Mariquinhas. At the end of the dinner, they sang the Fado Happy Birthday song, which is awesome! The people working there are more than kind. I recommend 100%

Was happy to have seen Fado once. We went to original location, which was fully reserved. But they offered to call us and pay for a cab to this other location. This location looks newer but was pretty empty. I think the other location is the one to go to and book in advance. They did end up letting some late comers go in the first one, right as our cab came, so we should have asked more insistently maybe, since it was only 3 of us. Still, overall, we were happy with our meals and saw 3 guitarists and 2 singers. A nice night out. Atmosphere of original location would have been more intimate and it did seem they sent tourists to this location, as someone mentioned. But host was great and service was good, too.

The show was exceptional, and the food was just as amazing. Throughout the night, 2 talented singers and 2 passionate guitarists performed. At one point, the whole restaurant was singing together. It was truly incredible! The servers were very personable and attentive to their guests. Definitely a memorable and authentic fado experience in Porto and will be recommending to all my friends.
