Do you love the ever present stench of pot smoke? Do you love the melodious sound of domestic disputes in the rooms and hallways around you? Do you feel at home surrounded by riff-raff? Then this is the place for you! But wait - there's even more! You will be granted the amazing opportunity to pay extra for things that normal hotels provide at no extra charge: clean towels, wifi for more than 2 devices, and a coffee maker in the room. And don't worry about missing out on the full bouquet of stenches when inside your room. The building designers helpfully routed ducts to connect your room to the building air system without including an exhaust fan - so the only way to avoid being subjected to whatever your neighbors are expelling is to totally block the vent. All in all, you will experience lovely aromas surrounded by a delightful cultural stew. Enjoy Chicago!

Absolutely love this place and its employees. My family fell on hard times and have had to stay here for extended periods of time. Aaron and other front-desk employees have helped us when we needed it, and have worked with us when we needed it Most. Everyone else who works here, cleaning/maintenance, is so nice! Always made sure we had what we needed. Very kid-friendly; always giving my grandson candy, and even a backpack! And made sure he had gloves when it got cold! Most of the guests are great too. If you're down to earth and love a friendly atmosphere, you will LOVE this place!

This management team that they have is a joke. They are rude and unprofessional. After 30 days you get refunded your taxes from the government. I wasn't staying longer and wanted my refund. They said they couldn't refund me that I would have to stay 3 days longer so they could apply it to the room. So they never gave me that money and on the government website it states that they have to refund me the money or send it back to them. The front desk lady slammed the shutter window on me and told me she's not talking to me. I wasn't even yelling. She's the one who got an attitude with me.

I will never stay at a woodspring suit ever again and recommend others stear clear. The staff was extremely rude except for the one and Only cleaning person they had on site. The garbage cans were always full and the dumpster was no where near the property so expect a good walk to throw away anything. The rooms stunk terribly and were wet and humid due to no fan or ventilation even in the bathroom. Don't expect clean towels available for you to pick up yourself until at least 11 when front desk may be open...or not. Every morning the hot water runs out So expect a very lukewarm shower on a daily basis as well and a very wet towel to dry off with as nothing will dry in the damp hotel.

If you usually stay at 3-5 star hotels, the Woodspring Suites will not be that same cup of tea if you get my drift. It's not necessarily a bad hotel or extended stay however, if you have high standards it will definitely be a humbling experience staying here. If you're lucky to check in with an actual staff on duty be prepared to manage your own stay! In otherwords, If you plan on staying for more than a week I would suggest buying your own toilet paper, groceries and laundry detergent. You're pretty much on your own when staying at this hotel. In a nutshell if you're not going to be in the hotel much this might be a good fit for you. If you're looking for a stay that you can get comfortable and almost feel like you're home; this hotel isn't it! If you're on a tight budget and just need somewhere decent to rest at night, this hotel should work for you. Pro's Very affordable Safe Very convenient location Laundry Facility on site Con's Guest & staff are not so friendly Very cut and dry staff 24-hour guest services are not available Lobby phone isn't operational

There is kitchenette but zero utensils, zero pots/pans, no coffee maker in the room. There is fresh free coffee all day long at the reception. Rooms are to be clean by the guests, my room was very dirty. Clean towels and sheets as needed.

Horrible. Guests beware! There website is deceiving! My husband and I attended a wedding and checked in late. There was no attendant in the lobby, just a phone for an operator. When the front desk woman returned! She looked like anything but an employee and it was clear she had been asleep in one of the rooms! And then our room was dirty! At first light we headed outta there! Still no attendant at desk to even complain to! Do not recommend! Seems like more of a halfway house than a hotel! Seedy people, dirty environment.

There's no one in the office until 7:00 a.m. in the morning so if you need something overnight it's going to have to call the toll-free number that's located downstairs in the lobby. They do offer laundry service for the gas there is no continental breakfast which sucks but the comfort is good the kitchen that is nice the location is surrounded by restaurants gas stations in speedy convenience needs I was there with bae so nothing in my eyes wasn't to bad...I like it.

I had a terrible experience. They didnโ€™t have real beds, the furniture was all torn up, and they charge you for extra tissue. The costumer service was also terrible. They donโ€™t have people working the front desk through the night and they come in in the morning. You canโ€™t get through to anyone to check out and the flours were stickyโ€ฆ. Never again.

Internet barely works. Gotta keep calling to get the internet wiped. Staff Wont explain anything and add fees, and has a problem with the sky being blue. Overall just unprofessional. And THEYRE comfortable being unprofessional.

Stayed at Tinley Park Woodspring Suites for 11 months while working in Harvey, so here's a REAL review. As a travel worker this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at. Reasons Why: -Staff Cleans the hallways and stairways daily -no bugs -safest neighborhood I've stayed so far -Stovetop, microwave, and full sized refrigerator in room -staff was always nice to me -manager was Great -restaurants, department stores, gas stations, and gym within walking distance! -Never had a problem with my bill -neighbors not noisy on 4th floor Cons -Card deactivates frequently (this happens at many hotels) -Housekeeping says its mandatory they clean rooms for long term guests, but won't set appointments for people who don't want staff in their rooms while not there. Most people who are complaining about this place are ridiculous. You are staying at a budget 2 star hotel, but expect 5 star service? ๐Ÿ˜‚ As long as certain guidelines are met, I'm fine. I bought all my own supplies including toilet paper because I make money and didn't want to bother the staff, they have to deal with rude people constantly coming to the desk for stupid reasons including paying they're bill when it can easily be automatically deducted from their account. Why are people giving low ratings for smelling cigarette smoke??!! If people break the rules that the hotel put in place, then how is it the hotel's fault?? This place in my opinion isn't for short term stays, but if you are a worker its perfect and if you want 5 star service, pay more and stay in a 5 star hotel or an air bnb.

Shady advertising... I reserved a two queen bed room, and was given a room with one queen and one sleeper sofa. When asked, the guy at the desk said "The pull out bed is a queen." Didn't even have sheets, a comforter, or a pillow for the sofa... How is that considered another bed? Hallways smell strongly of Marijuana, room smells like it had just been hot boxed and they tried to cover the smell with off brand Febreze. I'm truly not hard go please, but this hotel definitely misrepresented what we would be getting. Dishonest, at best. "Had the option to cancel for free," but would have still been charged for the room. Thankfully I only booked one night.

My family and I was here for one week and our room was clean smells clean and the clerks was very nice to us, we didn't stay the whole two weeks like I thought because our house was ready to come back home and I got my refund back from those unused days. so yes I would recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay longer, but just follow the rules and clean your room cuz they only come twice a week to clean as it said in the order.

This was one of the worst hotels Iโ€™ve stayed! The room was very dirty, had to clean myself after staying. The beds are uncomfortable, customer service was horrible! I was charged 75 dollars over garbage being left in the hallway as a cleaning fee, however they never cleaned our garbage they put it by our door. I thought this hotel offered a cleaning service, however room wasnโ€™t cleaned once by staff you have to get your own bed sheets and towels from downstairs which is a huge inconvenience. Entire hotel smells like marijuana the entire time. I was unaware of charges never notified until I checked out. The manager gave horrible customer service. I will never be back and I truly do not recommend this place.

I stayed here 2 years ago around the same time of year and loved my room, but had a completely opposite experience on this trip. Room had a HEAVY smell of cigarette smoke, and the window was propped open at check in as an attempt to dissipate that...it did not work. The room was not very clean, a ton of goop on the walls, floors and any flat surface (see the attached photos). There were some spots that were damaged in the room as well. Would be 1 star but the price was really good, however, spend the extra $10 and stay at a better cared for place.

We stayed here after returning from vacation and was a late check in. There was Noone at the counter, and 2 older ladies were in front if me. They had been trying to check in a while before I got there. The numbers left to call were not working. I decided to call the number on my reservation and a guy answered and said hw would be right down. When I say poor customer service, I mean poor customer service. Upon getting to the room, the windows were open. One of the beds had hair on the sheets and there were items under the bed. There was hair in the shower and rubber bands on bathroom floor I called the front desk to tell him about the room and even asked for a new room and he "stated new room". And said he could bring up new sheets, which I change myself. If we didn't have kids with us who were very tired, After checking in, hubby ran ro get food and i asked him to get extra towel a d wash cloth. He called after he went down stairs and said the guy wasn't there again. I definitely would not have stayed. I say if you can stay somewhere else, try them. It was other hotel chains in the same area.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in a long time. $240 a night and they want you to take your garbage outside to the dumpster before you check out. The entire hotel smells like weed. Donโ€™t stay in this hotel. Itโ€™s terrible.

Update #1: Still have not received a call from the manager and anyone I've talked to at the front desk refuses to call him or give me his number. Haven't heard back on my complaint through the website. I was also told I couldn't talk to anyone about the general manager. Seriously the worst hotel ever. I highly recommend you do not stay here. This was honestly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It started when we checked in. The front desk area smelled very strongly of weed and the clerk was obviously high. When we told him our key cards didn't work, he said he would let us in and that we would need to get new keycards in the morning. The room was absolutely filthy. There was literally clumps of hair on the floor (see pictures). The lamp shocked my husband and you could only plug into one outlet. All other outlets were unusable including the ones in the kitchen and bathroom. When we went to complain the next day, there was no one at the front desk, because they said they didn't get in until 10am. Once someone finally arrived at about 10:15am, they said they couldn't do anything until the manager was there. They assured us that the manager would call us that day, but they did not. We tried calling the Choice Hotels complaint line and they said they weren't able to help us. We were supposed to stay another night but checked out for obvious reasons and went and stayed at the Fairfield Inn down the street and it was much nicer, cleaner, and cheaper.

Horrible !! My first stay and the room is dirty !! I read reviews & yet I still gave them a chance, honestly because every other hotel was booked. There is hair everywhere. Im so uncomfortable there is no manager on duty nor can they reach them. Iโ€™ve been waiting on someone to clean the room over because I will not sleep in something thats not clean. This is ridiculous !!! My wife and I are furious. Waste of time and money. Now we are going to be late for our dinner reservations. I will not be coming back. Horrible 1st impression and experience. Something needs to be done. Oh & I also cleaned the room personally myself because no-one came and redid the room !! Horrible horrible horrible !! I wasted my hard earned money.

Where to begin.... Checked into the motel 3pm. Noticed heavy smoke smell in bathroom and a cheeto on the floor. 3:30 some ladies got assigned to our room and walked in on us. 15 min later an employee knocked and quickly opened the door. Said they wanted to make sure someone was in the room. 15 min later another employee tried to get in to mop the floor. As we were leaving, waiting at the elevator another employee was getting ready to open the door and I confonted him. Just checking if someone was in room . We get home a little after midnight and found our key would not work. Went down to front desk couldnt find anyone for 10 min. In the morning.... Shower water was not hot, NO COFFEE MAKER IN ROOM, but we could purchase one. Cleanliness was horrible. Dirty sock sccidently found under bed. Corner in bathroom had so much dirt build up that a putty knife would be needed. Shower had dirt specks and hair from previous stay. Mirror had not been cleaned. But It looks great on the outside. Has great potential but evidently poorly managed.

This was one of the worst hotels Iโ€™ve stayed! The room was very dirty , housekeeping never clean my room on the 5 month I stayed there ,beds are uncomfortable very older mattresses , customer service is terrible , extra charges that the manager never clarify, very rude and racist front desk person (red hair) she falsely accused me of stealing clothes from the laundry I had to call the police so she stops harassing me . They never apologized or punish her for that behavior. will never be back and I truly do not recommend this place.๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜–๐Ÿ˜–

The management is completely unprofessional and rude. If you plan on staying here awhile it's a big headache. The website says that if you stay 28 days is cheaper, which it is. But after that you can not extend your reservation for that price or the promotion price they have online further 28 days. You have to check out and check back in to get that rate. No one at the front desk knows what they are doing and they talk in circles. They canceled my reservation without my consent so they could charge me more. They told my sister, who is staying here also, that she was being charged more because the type of room she's in. Which is a handicap room. Which is illegal to charge more. What a bunch of crooks! I have a case open with choice and am going to contact lawyers. So if anyone staying here is dealing with these crooks let me know and we will work on a lawsuit.

Upon arriving to the entrance, a guest was smoking Marijuana right at the curb of door entrance. Checked into hotel and went upstairs to room. Room smelled like wet dog. Furniture was ripped. Walls had scratches. Bathroom wall and mirror was dirty. So upset about the room and appearance of building. Hallway carpet and elevator was dirty. I asked for a refund. Horrible place to stay. Never again.
