I am so glad to have found this hotel for my visits to this area. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are great! Front desk staff is always friendly and so efficient! Kudos to Greg for being out there in the freezing snow to make sure we had a clear and safe path. Thank you for housekeeping for accommodating me while I had my zoom meetings; it was appreciated that you modified the vacuuming schedule so it wasn't heard in my background. I especially appreciate Dalia, who manages the wonderful breakfast! The food is fresh, the hot items are a nice change from other hotel breakfast offerings and I appreciate the variety of items for folks watching their diet (however; best raspberry danish ever! Where is that bakery?). As I stayed at this hotel several times during the pandemic, I was especially impressed at how well Dalia managed hotel guests who were not masking near the food area, as mandated by state law and was required by the hotel at that time. In the sweetest way possible, she informed various guests that masks were required and then she led them to where masks were being provided for those who'd forgotten theirs. Hand sanitizers were all over the hotel which made me think this hotel was taking safety seriously. One last thing to note...I've noticed that the hotel staff all seem to get along really well and it is nice to see them smiling and greeting each other. If staff gets along like that they must enjoy working there, which makes my stays there so much more pleasant.

Phenomenal hotel. I absolutely loved this place. The beds were super comfortable, the hotel was very clean, the staff was smiling, warm, and accommodating. They even had cookies when I checked in. They have full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the very updated bathrooms. The shower pressure was absolutely wonderful. The glass doors were a beautiful touch. The lighted mirror was gorgeous. The rooms are huge and I was just so comfortable. They offered breakfast every morning and it was delicious and fresh. They also have a small store on the main floor to buy extra food because this area truly shuts down at 10pm nothing is open except gas stations.

First time staying at Wingate and it did not disappoint. The 4 and 5 star ratings are accurate. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast was good. I was able to park my truck on the site with no problems. Cindy at the front desk was very professional and accommodating. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

Our stay at Wingate by Wyndham in Tinley Park was truly sent from heaven. From check-in to check-out on a scale from 1-10, we experienced all “10’s” in every area. The ladies that cleaned the rooms did a superb job every time! (we stayed there five days). The pool and whirl pool was always dressed and ready for fun with cleaned towels, stacked on the shelves and the area and water maintenance early. (we know it was cleaned early because my husband, son and grandson went to the pool after breakfast or after hitting the gym) The gym was always prepped with clean towels and a water dispenser for our morning workouts. Breakfast was always perfectly prepared by Maria S. She had omelettes pancakes, sausage, bacon, muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt (what toppings) coffee, tea, cocoa, condiments, cups, plates, plasticware, napkins, etc. etc. I could go on and on about her duties alone. We always had what we wanted or needed for breakfast. Every time! She kept it, spic and span in the breakfast area. There was no mess while she was there. And she worked there our entire stay. Thank God! The front desk, ladies; Cindy A, supervisor, Cindy, and Maria were very helpful to us. Always answering the phone whenever we would call downstairs. Or if we needed extra sheets or towels, they took care of us. We needed a playpen while we were there and they had one for us to use for only $10 for the entire stay. This is a smoke free hotel. Which was another”10” for us. Even the maintenance guy that was putting flowers into the flower pots outside in front of the hotel did his job with a smile. The people that work here help to make this hotel a gem. Thank you for such a great hotel with an outstanding staff right in Tinley Park, Illinois.

I just attended a wedding in the southern Chicago area and Wingate made my stay much better! Not only was the complimentary breakfast fantastic(a rare opinion of mine) but the staff worked with me throughout my stay as I was dealing with an 11 month old the entire time. It was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to book again!

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel, it smelled amazing upon entry, it was clean, the room was big, clean, comfortable and inviting. There is complimentary breakfast and the hotel is in a nice area. Oh let’s not forget the staff, everyone I encountered was pleasant and smiling. I will be staying here the next time I’m in town

This is a great hotel. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, those who run the breakfast, etc.) are all great. The room was very nice. The bed/sheets/towels/pillows were all fantastic and cozy. The hotel was quiet during quiet hours. The parking lot was well lit. The food at breakfast was above/beyond most "continental breakfasts" at other hotels. The lobby was well decorated for Christmas, which was a nice touch. Overall, this is a great property, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Room was clean. A mini-fridge, microwave, and safe were in the room. The water pressure was a little low in the room, but it was adequate. Loved the Dove shower products that were provided. The beds were quite firm, which I didn't personally enjoy, but the pillows were comfortable. Breakfast choices changed slightly from day-to-day. There was a good selection of options, including a coffee station, pancake maker, and hot and cold cereals. The pool is small, but nice. The hot tub was a good temperature. They have adult-only hours in the morning and from 9-11:30pm at night. If you have a chlorine sensitivity, you should note that the chlorine was quite strong.

I was in search for a hotel to stay in while my house was being renovated and decided to stay at the Wingate after previously checking into a nightmare hotel in the same area. The Wingate draws you in with the fresh smell and cute water wall in the lobby. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful especially Devon and Jovahn. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel in a nice suburb of Chicago. Feels new inside. Beds are comfortable. Very clean overall, nice staff. Free breakfast leaves a bit to be desired, but plenty of nearby options.

This hotel is the best in the area. The staff are truly professionals. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The breakfast is outstanding and always fresh. The breakfast staff are amazing. I have stayed at many hotels in the area and nothing compares. I would also like to say if not a Wyndham member sign up. They have a go fast option with points wherein you can greatly reduce your prices on future stays.

Stayed here for a wedding this past weekend. The location is super convenient to the odyssey country club as well as the tinley park music venue. I stayed in both a suite on the 3rd floor and then a king bedroom on the second floor. Rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. They have dove products which is nice. Both rooms had a fridge and microwave. The gym is super small but it gets the job done. There is an indoor pool but I did not utilize it. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety including eggs, sausage, pancakes, breads, cereals etc. Staff was very friendly. Even housekeeping said hi as you passed them in the hallways. Very nice stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wingate this summer. The hotel is very well maintained and managed by the staff. Jovan was very accommodating, friendly, courteous with all our needs. The free breakfast was always fresh and well stocked. Maria and Crystal consistently kept the dining area clean and organized, and greeted us every morning with a smile on their face. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel, and will be back again.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a work related event. It's in a great location not too far off the expressway and close to a lot of restaurants. The lobby is open to the breakfast area, and there's a gym and pool. The rates were very reasonable. My room was modern with nice perks like a make-up towel and make-up remover wipes, iron and ironing board which I made use of, in-room microwave, fridge, desk, and safe. The lamps had USB ports and plugs built into them so I used my own USB plugs in the outlets provided right on the nightstand. Very convenient. The bed was comfortable and temp was managed on a digital wall control that was easy to use. Even though my room was right off the elevator area, it was quiet during the night hours. Would stay again!

Service was great! Wish I would have gotten the name of the front desk on staff that night they were so helpful. We had our sitter come to the hotel and they were so accommodating. Very tidy rooms and area. The pancake maker for breakfast is amazing haha. Never seen it before, make me want one for the house ;)

Large rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Staff is friendly. It is very convenient for the business traveler, who has business in the Chicago southlands. One can grab a breakfast sandwich and a yogurt for Breakfast. The only criticism is that the bathroom is a little small, when the rooms are quite large, so distribution of space was not very efficient. If the bathroom doors seould open outward, this would help.

Maria is so great! We were dealing with a stressful situation and she was very helpful and understanding. She even had a good laugh with me at a time when I really needed the levity. Thank you so much! The hotel is also very nice and convenient in every way.

Maria was extremely helpful with our evening check in and very accommodating with our late check out. Cindy was also helpful when we checked out the next day. There was plenty of food at the breakfast buffet and the servers were working hard to keep up with the huge crowd.

Breakfast is back and the lobby/breakfast is open again. The remodeled area is comfy and have a modern look. They have an area with power and USB outlets. Personal always friendly. Great location close to I80 exit. There's several restaurants at a walking distance.

Was a great accommodation with good service. Only recommendation I could make was placement of full length mirror on back of bathroom door facing toilet and placement of shower head that requires you to enter under shower head. These are preferences and no way take away from the stay quality.

The pool and hot tub were disgusting. The pillows had stains on them. Staff not friendly. Our last stay at the same hotel but different location was so nice and clean so we were really disappointed in this stay.

Great front desk staff. Clean decent size rooms. Clean grounds, indoor pool and good breakfast. Well equipped workout room. I’ll stay again the next time in Tinley Park.

We have been coming here for many years and each and every visit is a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean and bright. The staff is friendly and patient. This is our go to in tinley park! We highly recommend!!

This is our go to for a quick getaway with my grandsons. They enjoy the pool which is always spotless and fully stocked with towels. We all enjoy the breakfast. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The re- model gives an upscale trendy vibe. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here. And short drive to shopping , lunch at Cheesecake Factory is a plus! Great restaurants in area also. Chicago is not too far but we’ve always enjoyed the surrounding area so we’ve not gone into the city. See you again about January when we can enjoy the pool and watch the snow outside. Thanks for making my family feel like we were Welcomed Home!!

Mrs. Clemons was very polite and helpful during my stay. She always has a smile on her face whenever I see her working the front desk. The rooms are clean and spacious too!

Cindy A at check in and check out was extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. The overall stay was amazing. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean as well as the rooms. The breakfast is also delicious with a lot to choose from. Biscuits and gravy were tasty. We will stay again soon. 5 starts for this hotel. Also there is a great bar / restaurant North and Maple right across the parking lot that has great food and live music on Fridays definitely recommended.

The rooms: the beds and bathrooms are quite nice. Pillows (small) and blankets (thin) are terrible. Bathrooms seem to be stand up shower only (at least the two rooms I’ve stayed in were- coworkers also confirmed theirs were all stand up showers only). The carpet in my room was incredibly dirty, stinky (lingering smoke smell) and seemed to have cigarette burns in a few places. The curtains are outdated as well and do not block out the light. Service: CINDY!!! She was absolutely awesome and personable. She was incredibly friendly and helpful! Amazing customer service!!! Location: lots of restaurants to eat at. Also close dive to a lot of different establishments which made it easy to commute for our business trip.

A nice hotel. They were busy when we came with two wedding parties. So, our rooms weren’t quite ready at 3 pm. But we went for a walk and then they were ready and well cleaned. We stayed on the 2nd floor, which has a balcony. So, it was loud at night when people were first coming from their time out and in the AM during breakfast. Otherwise, the room had nice amenities and Dove toiletries, which was a gift!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wingate. The rooms were clean as well as the pool and hot tub area. My family spent time in the hot tub and pool and found the surrounding area to have a variety of restaurants to pick from. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. I ranked the breakfast #1 of any hotel stays we have been to in a quite some time!

I am highly impressed with how the desk attendant handled a problem. I came to this hotel because I’m from Michigan and I attended a funeral nearby. There was maintenance being performed on the roof that made it difficult to sleep in the morning. I complained, and was surprised by how attentive the desk attendant was. She made the noise stop! She provided complimentary snacks to my child. She asked about the problem resolution the next time she saw me. She was phenomenal, polite, and happy to help. In addition, the hotel facilities are wonderful. The breakfast is great. I’m so happy I chose this hotel! I will return when I return to Chicago. Highly recommend.

As a bus driver, I brought in approximately 40 high school students Upon arrival, Jenny, the front desk clerk was exceptional checking people in getting people what they needed, and she did in a timely manner Breakfast the next day was absolutely superior Maria and Crystal did an amazing job of keeping everything fresh, and everything was clean and never ran out of product even though they had over 100 people three buses of kids Going to the breakfast area first thing in the morning Front desk, staff, Jenny, Jovan, Darrell, and a different Maria we’re just so amazing. Are we smiling and always taking care of their guess thank you for all you have done.

The ladies up front are rude . There’s never towels by the pool. There were kids and adults slipping and falling all over the lobby asking for towels because when you call nobody actual brings them. There was throw up in the elevator and when we told the front desk nothing was done . It was there the next morning . I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in the area . I recommend the holiday inn express instead . Rooms are bigger, cleaner, and the staff is AMAZING. The sign for the room numbers kept falling off the wall.. wall paper was peeling in the bathroom and the door bottom of the bathroom was bubbling from the shower leaking . For how expensive this hotel is priced it’s not as good as any other hotel in the area . I went here about 7 years ago and it was beautiful. I don’t know what happened but it’s really a shame nobody’s kept up with it. The only staff who wasn’t rude was the kitchen staff in the morning . That women was wonderful and asked about my kids every morning we woke up and had breakfast. She’s great . Update your rooms and your staff . I also found it very odd that all night there was a gymnastics team of young girls around 7 going up and down the elevator by themselves ALL NIGHT and nobody said a thing.. then my 10 year old son went to get an apple juice the next morning alone he was yelled at and told to go up stairs immediately. I would hope that wasn’t because of his race but it is weird how all those little girls ran the hotel the night before .
