Brand new place and I'm not disappointed. I had a delicious prawn curry with coconut! Definitely coming back.

We found Taste of Emy to be the best dining place in La Gaulette. Recently opened family restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch as well as á la carte dinner. Though the dinner menu seems limited, all the dishes are prepared by the chef himself, and are of the best of this kind. Attentive service, personal attitude. The best pina colada in Mauritius for desert!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Mauritius so far. When I asked if they could make something vegetarian they made a delicious curry that was full of flavour. Virgin pina colada was the best!!

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The owner (and great cook) came to us and showed us what fresh fish he had. He grilled the fish and made a splendid platter with vegetables, salad and rice. It was delicious.

This is the spot ! Everyone welcomes you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. Good vibe and atmosphere. Regarding the food, I don’t know who is the chef. But the currys they propose (mostly the prawn curry) are out of this world. Having travelling a lot to India and Sri Lanka and trying different type of currys. I could surely say that they have one the best curry I’ve ever had ! Maybe the best actually… Parking spot across the street (supermarket parking)

Good food for a fair price.

Wonderful food and very friendly people. We already ate there twice and will definitely come back! Tried different curries, they were the best I've ever eaten, and chicken wings and grilled chicken, also very tasty. I highly recommend!

We had lunch there today - the food is very tasty and freshly prepared. The mojito and espresso were also very tasty. A very friendly little family team 😀.
