our stay was 31 Oct - 7 Nov. 2017 A very nice and clean small Guesthouse on the outskirts of the village but very close to the beach and to the restaurants, shops and supermarket SPAR. Also a very good PIZZERIA bakery over there. The beaches of Flic en Flac are very nice and very good for long hours of walking. Also all the busses you can use for traveling all around. We have hired two days a scooter 500rps per/day. Diving very close. Mr. 'Tommy Cooper' the owner is very nice and helpful person, also his staff for take care of rooms and breakfast. You get worth for your money. We will come back

Really nice place with lovely staff with excellent advice and really kind,the breakfast on the terrasse was lovely, the room were spavious, the rooftop was nice and useful. There is a shortcut to the beach through a little portion of forest where we had the chance to see a monkey... Lovely place

Great value for money! Would highly recommend this for travellers who want access to the beach and other attractions at Flic-en-Flac at an affordable price. The property is clean and homely, and the owners are excellent hosts. The facilities are basic but functional and definitely worth the savings!

Eine sehr charmante Unterkunft mit super freundlichem und zuvorkommendem Personal, Zimmer war mit eigenem Bad, Safe und Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Die Unterkunft hat einen kleinen Pool und viele Möglichkeiten zum Sonnen und gemütlichem Sitzen, vor allem die liebevoll gestaltete Dachterrasse lädt dazu ein. Frühstück bestand aus Toast/Croissant, Marmelade, Butter, Obst und hartgekochtem Ei, Getränke nach Wunsch Kaffee, Tee oder Saft

Cool stay in Flic on Flac. Fantastic garden with palmtrees, pool , rooftop terrace and delicious breakfast.

Thank you for the extraordinary hospitality. There were two very nice weeks in Flic en Flac. Anyone staying at Villa Osumare will immediately notice the attention to detail that Abi and his wife put into the guesthouse. The staff is warm and helpful. There is also the best jam on Mauritius - homemade by the boss. :-) On the beach, you can walk in one minute. All in all a very recommendable accommodation.

Had a really pleasant stay here this week. Very clean, conveniently located to explore the South of the Island and no hassles from arrival through to departure. Everyone was helpful and made sure we had an enjoyable time.

It's a 10-15min walking distance from the beach. They have there own decent swimming pool. Neat and clean room/bathrooms. They have Car Parking as well.

We were given a bad smelling dark room on the ground floor with stinky towels. The Air conditioner was positioned right next to the bed and blew in our faces all night. We couldn't change the temperature as they don’t provide a remote control. Consumption of hot food is not allowed in the rooms as it seems to attract ants. The owner uses the tropical environment as an excuse for his insufficient hygiene. We found plenty of ants, a cockroach and a spider in the room without consuming any food. We travel almost exclusively in tropical countries and we are absolutely aware that insects are to be expected in such destinations, but we don’t expect them to climb up the Bed. We booked for 3 nights and ended up leaving after one night. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews and the edited pictures on the internet. I must say the pool was looking beautiful and the breakfast Lady was very friendly. That’s all.

I stayed at villa osumare with my family for a week during my vacation in Mauritius. The place is super cute and the rooms were very clean. The beach is just around the corner from there and multiple restaurants in walking distance. Flic en flac is a safe area and an ideal location. For breakfast they serve fresh fruits along with tasty homemade jams and croissants! They also have a beautiful terrace area and pool where we could relax. The sweetest family run the place and they accommodated to all our needs. They helped us with booking our taxi driver for the trip as well. I had a fantastic experience and would 100% recommend this place to anyone travelling to Mauritius!!

We had a really great time at Abi‘s place. The rooms are quiet nice with a chilling area on the roof. You can walk 5 minutes to the beach. Abi was always helpful and the Time in flic en flac was a pleasure for us. Scuba diving here was amazing

Everything was very well arranged. A good, clean room. A good bed with multiple pillows to choose from. A fridge, hair dryer, etc. A good bathroom with large and small towels. A nice, basic breakfast, with nice fresh fruit. But most importantly, very kind people who are running the guest house!

Reasonable priced Bed-and-Breakfast at the Flic-en-Flac venue. Clean rooms, and comfy beds, basically all you need... Basic breakfast suffices.

Wonderful place to stay where you can make memories, get a taste of local Mauritius culture (best lamb roti of my life on the beach) and explore the island - all for a really reasonable price. The location is great, lots of local bars and restaurants that are lively, relaxing and delicious. Beach is beautiful and you can snorkel right off the coast. Visit the zoo Casela, great day out. Rent a car and explore the gorges, swim in rivers, visit the other beaches. It's possible to park your rental car within the safe villa gates. Easy places to rent a car very near by in flic en flac. Mauritian roads are incredibly easy to drive on don't be put off. Abi and his wife provide a lovely fruit, yogurt and croissant breakfast with tea coffee and juice - perfect to get you set up for the day. Swimming pool is great and the roof terrace is perfect for an evening appertif. Rooms are air conditioned and beds comfy. Nice powerful shower. You're not supporting a 5* hotel you're supporting a lovely family run business. Whilst in Mauritius we stayed at five star hotels too and Villa Osumare helped us create just as great memories. Top notch!
