A very nice and long beach, we can recommend for sure. In the weekends it is busy with locals who picnic in the beach park which is well maintained, clean, with public toilets and some food stalls. We did not swim or snorkel at the beach but enjoyed the shade and ability to treasure hunt for seashells and with our metal detector. Lots of beer caps, nails and coins to be found. The beach is now much cleaner.

Pretty beach on the south coast. The sand is white and the water looks clean. It's rather quiet with a few locals enjoying their time. There is plenty of shadow and some places for picnic and lunch. There is no official swimming area. It might get a bit windy.

This is what I call a nice place to chill out with family, friends or alone. I'm impressed with the way they have rehab this place. Thanks for the team who is concerned to make this place like a paradise as our island is really a paradise. Very clean and well maintained place. You've got gym, beach soccer, boulodrome, jogging track, leisure, camp and fire place for any activities. Nice green spaces.

Very peaceful, no direct bus access nearest being Rivière des Galets. Western toilets with a changing area, large car park. Beach has a tide line of broken corals, crystal clear shallow water.

This is one of thee best beaches in the west coast and honestly probably all of Mauritius and I checked out the east coast and currently on the north coast. This beach is clean with clear water. I also appreciate the awesome local vibe as opposed to crowded tourist beaches. This place has plenty of parking available and beach space. There are also bathroom/change rooms available along with some food/beer vendors. I came here more then once during my two week stay. I already miss it!

Huge, beautiful beach where you can find a quiet corner at any time. There is natural shade from many trees, there are toilets, a snack bar and even a jogging promenade and other sports facilities. Therefore, the beach is also popular with locals for picnics. From my point of view one of the most relaxed and spacious and at the same time most underrated beaches on the island.

Beach ambience is good. But not good for swimming..

It is a clean, calm beach. Shallow water with sea urchins, may not be suitable for swimming. You can walk into the ocean. Public toilet and changing rooms are available. Snacks corner is there.

Absolutely amazing beach. The only issue is that the toilet 🚻 is not big enough to accommodate the large number of visitors on weekends.

Superb, neat and clean

1. Access to the beach (i mean the small stairs) were a bit to far each other. Should add more nearer. People have to sit on slopes to have lunch. 2. A boat house on all our beaches should be included (with reasonable price for Mauritians)

Great beach, a lot better than many famous beaches. And it is very suitable for snorkelling, as there are a lot of coral reef.

One of the only wheelchair accessible beaches I have seen so far on the island. There is ample parking for cars, busses and taxis. A great place to spend the day, but I wouldn’t swim at high tide as the current looks a bit strong, it is protected by a reef. Very good for fisherman.

Large area. Good for everything. All time full with Bangladeshi expatriate workers.

Lovely beach. Not too busy at the time we went so was ideal. Would imagine can get very busy during weekends and holidays.
