Natural and unique geological feature Its a natural bridge formed by the combined action of fluvial (streams or flowing water) as well as biological weathering (cracks and fractions formed by tree roots ). Geologically, it is Laterite formation, where all the soft material are eroded leaving only the hard rock formations (Iron and Aluminium).

Once it was a beautiful place. I heard the story from my grandmother that there were 7 natural bridges a long long time ago and all have fallen and one is standing. Now in the name of development they ruined the natural view. Sadly it lost its natural beauty. I am missing old kallu Sanka🥹

A small deviation from jog main road will take you to this serene place. The bridge across a small stream has been carved out in stone. Sadly, the water in the stream is not clean.

Endangered natural stone bridge, there is only small portion left as bridge. Nice place, but if you are visiting please dont destroy or litter the place.

A must visit place. A natural stone bridge formed naturally by the erosion and flow of water.

This place is OPEN.. OPEN...OPEN. Little difficult to identify. Very close to main road. Kallu Sanka - 1km from Matthuga resort. "Kallu Sanka" (Kannada word) means "Stone Bridge". It is a very rare natural formation of a bridge out of a single piece of stone. There is a small board but looks like QR Code as its not been painted for long.
