The Food was amazing. We took our infant with us yet we felt very comfortable staying there. Very calm and neat place to stay. They offered to cook separately for my child without even requesting. The view is so so beautiful from the room. Staffs were very friendly and warm. My only concern is with the cost, its quite expensive provided the place is not much of a tourist attraction. Driving through the resort might be quite tacky, be ready for it.

Excellent ambiance and nice view from the top. Ideal for a couple of days stay. Situated on top of a hill. They charge you around rs6000 for 1 cottage for 2 people for 1 night, which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Location is awesome . food quality is superb. We were 8 families and stayed 2 nights , enjoyed the hospitality provided by staff. Special thanks to resort coordinator , chef and booking coordinator. Property is very clean and conference area sitting locations are nice view point towards the valley. Renovated rooms are very nice and comfortable to stay. Property approaching road is adventerous...if you come on car , it really tests your driving skill...I enjoyed every moment while driving uphill. I recommend this property for all my friends , it is a hidden gem among kodai resorts. Sure you will not be disappointed. Winderful place for family gathering and pleasant weather during our visit ( Dec last week). This resort has play area , Gym...and indoor games....most important point is you will get hygenic food ( homely preparation) which is served with smile.

Awesome place on top of a hill. The driveway is steep and bumpy, but the place is rewarding with good meals and Tranquility, as the name suggests.

One of the best place to come with whole family. The rooms where well maintained and the food cooked there was awesome. The staffs are very kind and friendly. This place is filled with nature and has great ambience. Here mobile network is available only in some points as it is remote from the town. I will recommend people to come in group of 20-30 members to have fun filled relaxation.

nature lovely and a splendid place. nice location, excellent climate, well planned construction, great view. all staff are friendly. I went there with my friends for our school friends get-together. all staff were so kind, and obliged to serve us, with what menu we demanded. even the dining section gave us an excellent atmosphere, that we are inside a forest environment. good place, to be away from city and a green environment.

As the name implies, the place is so pleasant and calm. Zero pollution zone. They have a total of 16 individual cottages can accommodate min 3persons in each room. Rooms are clean and tidy. Food is homely and yummy, thanks to the chef. Staff are well behaved and pleasing. Best suited for people who wants to stay and enjoy the environment. From Madurai or Dindugal . The shortest route is via Ayyampalayam than via oothu or pannaikaadu.

Following some work in the Thandikudi area, decided to spend the night at this property. Advance booking was pretty easy as the Owners appear to have tied up with a professional management company from Madurai who run a few hotels. Pre visit, we received a call inquiring on our check in timing and food preferences! Our concern was the quality of rooms/bathrooms and the exec assured that all would be well. Upon arrival we were met with very polite/friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure that all was well. We did have some concerns which were sorted out immediately without any excuses or fuss. There are some 12 odd rooms across the property with a few under renovation. Our allocated rooms were spotless (including the bathroom) with no odour and very 'hotel like' Usual coffee and kettle provided. The chef Kandaswamy and restaurant staff Geeta were attentive and the food quality was simple and super tasty. As we were the only guests on the premises, all was made to our order! Wandered around the lovely property and there was no mess or dirt in sight. I noticed a waste segregation area in one corner. No plastic garbage bags and instead they had recycled newspaper bags to collect personal waste. Casually visited the lounge and well appointed gym (for a possible future visit) Note that the slope coming in is out of stone block and can get a bit slippery if it rains. Cleaning teams were pressure washing the concrete paths to remove mould and moss. There were several nooks and 'conference' type areas around the property and dozens of mobile signal boosters all over. Signals were ok but there were several blind spots. Birding was a bit of a challenge due to the high canopy and heavy rain but later we walked down the slope and onto some farm roads and checked for future possibilities. Forgot my leech socks and got a bunch of them on me (leech season!) All in all a most pleasant surprise and certainly a pleasant stay. Will be back with the rest of the family for sure. (The location PIN appears to have been duplicated)

Had a very good experience with family. Kids and elders thoroughly enjoyed the stay. They have gym, basket ball court, lounge and meeting hall facility. Food was nice and tasty. Service was excellent. Only challenge was to drive to the resort from the entrance. Otherwise excellent place to have time out with the family... Location selected in the google map is 6km away from the actual resort location...

My Fourth visit to Tranquil Nest, but felt like my first. We had our business group meeting, 12 of us. Perfect place to think, plan and bond as a team. The conference hall was closest to nature. Rooms have been aesthetically refurbished and very well maintained. Clean linen and toilets as always. Mallika, Kandasamy and team ensured comfort, great food. They followed up with our plans, menu and took instant feedback. Looking forward to my next family holiday there.

I recently stayed at Tranquil Nest, which proved to be a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from daily life. Nestled amidst nature, this resort offers a tranquil setting perfect for relaxation and serenity. Tranquil Nest accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. My room boasted a cozy ambiance with a lovely view of the green and forest. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep and the amenities provided were adequate for a pleasant stay. The bed, walls, flooring, and curtains are meticulously considered to maintain effective sleep hygiene. Tranquil Nest staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. They were knowledgeable about the local area and offered valuable suggestions for nearby attractions and activities. Their warm hospitality added to my overall positive experience during my stay. One of the highlights of Tranquil Nest Hill Resort was the stunning natural beauty that enveloped the property. Lush greenery surrounds the resort, offering picturesque views from various vantage points. It was a joy to explore the well-maintained walking trails and immerse myself in nature's tranquility. It also has an exhilarating drive from the entry to the main gate. I don't want to give you any insights into your visit. The resort's dining options were satisfactory, offering a variety of authentic home-style dishes. The restaurant served tasty meals; the menu is customized according to the guest. A campfire and barbeque are also available. Tranquil Nest also offers a range of recreational activities to keep guests entertained. Furthermore, the resort organized guided hikes and nature walks to let guests explore the surrounding area and appreciate the natural surroundings. One area where Tranquil Nest Resort should improve is marketing the hill resort to the outside world. In conclusion, the tranquil nest provides a tranquil retreat for those seeking a break from city chaos. Comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, breathtaking natural surroundings, and recreational activities make it an ideal choice for relaxation. Tranquil Nest offers a pleasant getaway experience, and I would consider returning for another rejuvenating stay. Please note that due to the rugged terrain mobile reception is poor and you may not find a TV in your room.

I'm someone who has what is described as 'location exhaustion'. I'm a fairly jaded traveller who's been there, done it, and doesn't want to see any more fellow-tourists. I went to Tranquil Nest with some trepidation because i was travelling after a bit, and I'd never heard of it before. It was a pleasant drive ( the stretch from Dindigul onwards towards Thandikudi) that got more picturesque as we ascended, and what was striking was the lack of traffic that allowed us to enjoy the scenery. In time we reached the resort, and there was someone waiting at the roadside to escort us in. Why, became amply clear the moment we entered: the drive up, was on one of the steepest gradients of stone paved road with more twists and turns than a Ludlum novel. Thankfully we made it up in one piece. And then the magic began. We looked but didn't find anything remotely Resort-like. We were welcomed by Ms Mallika who managed the place, and taken to our digs. This was a large, well appointed room, with a balcony overlooking a jungle patch ( or estate, but to our city eyes they were the same), and a small, but clean and modern bathroom. The beds were large and comfy, not too soft, just the kind of firmness we liked. It was a bit Spartan, but somehow it seemed organic to the environment and just right. The first thing that struck us was the loud noise : of silence. No traffic, no horns, no loud people...just the chittering of birds and the chattering of monkeys and deep sounds right out of Kipling. Over the next two nights, we were blissed out, pampered by the lovely staff, overfed by the chef, and had the time.if our lives doing absolutely nothing ( that's a luxury these days, I tell you) and soaking in the therapeutic goodness of the place. The people too were simple, warm, and responsive to our needs. The kids loved the place and the adults loved being kids again, and I can't speak too highly of Tranquil Nest, a rare place, untouched by the dust and grime of the world, and a perfect getaway for the battered urban soul.

Very nice place to stay and spend time. But cost was too high. This cost is ok for foreigners, not for others. They want to less the fare for resort.

Awesome place. The name to the Resort "Tranquil Nest" is apt. It is a heaven on Earth for the folks from big cities.
