Great food, simple ambiance, reasonable rate. We were a party of 4 we ordered meals & fish fry. Food was GREAT, did not have excessive spices or oil and tasted like a home cooked meal. Would absolutely return and recommend this place to all.

If you are looking to get delicious veg or non-veg(fish curry and fish fry) meal in and around IIM, Kunnamangalam, this is the place for you. I had Aykora fry, best in town. It was awesome with a reasonable price. 🥰 Busy during lunch time. You may have to wait for seats. Parking is not available, it's a small hotel, but you can park on road side some meters away.

Heard about this hotel many times, but recently only I visited the hotel for lunch. ✓ Good tasty food like most of the kozhikoden hotels. ✓ Normal rate for meals and Not that high rates for fish fries. ( Not killing prices for fries like there in Balettan's fish fry centre kadalundi.) ✓ ചോറും കറികളും (മീൻ കറി + സാമ്പാർ ) ഉപ്പേരിയും അച്ചാറും ചമ്മന്തിയും പച്ചടി പപ്പടം . After all the hype about this restaurant, What i felt in real was utter Disappoiment!! We ordered 3 meals and 1 Full Pomfret 🐟 fry, it was around 400 grams and cost 350 rupees Because the fish was coated with masala we didnt noticed the rotten fish but when it comes to near bone part the rotten smell started coming from the fish and couldn't eat anything after.

Had lunch from this hotel. It's small but the food is biggg. We ordered meals and fish fries. Meals comes with seven side dishes and three curries ,Dal , fish and sambar. Sambar was really good then comes dal. Fish fry was worth for the amount which I have paid and it was so good.

Its a small place, with good tasty Kerala spread. A local tea shop where you would get awesome tea, evening snacks or a good breakfast such as putt and kadala, idiyappam and egg roast etc. Don't go for the ambience, very old school and basic. But the food never fails to make you feel good. Hence 5/5

A very homely food just like how mom make. Their specialty is the freshly fried fish. Variety of fresh fish items available. One of their specialty is the kind fish fry and squid roast. Also, the beef roast looked so appetizing.. I can't wait to visit there again for some of their tasty foods.

Three different types of 'curries' is another highlight. But the place is always crowded.. Very small place where at a time maximum 20 people can eat.. But the food is amazing..

Went there for breakfast and lunch. Food is good. It's a comparatively small hotel which expanded recently. Meals are good. Fish fry is super. A bit costly that other smaller hospitals , but nevertheless a pleasing one. I would recommend lunch at the place with a meal or beef fry. There might be rush at the peak hours and a slight delay in service.

Food was nice. Curries are tasty. U can order extra items such as Squid, Prawns or Fish which is famous here. All the items are tasty and reasonable.

An excellent destination for authentic meals with fish fry. Fish fry is the highlight. Not to mention the delicious side dishes packed with lunch. It's a bit busy during lunch and would be helpful if you arrive early (around 1:00 PM). You'd need to park alongside the road. Overall an excellent experience that you shouldn't miss! A Local Food spot in Karanthur Kozhikode on NH 766 ( Wayanad Road). Highlight is Fish Fries mainly Aykora & Neymeen and usual Meals. Tried their Mussels Fry as well . Fish fries has some grated Masala as topping makes it stand out . Usually Crowded from 1:30 onwards. Dont expect a high class service as its very rush just fill your tummy and move on . If you need you have to ask it again thats it. 50rs for meal and 180 for Aykora ( King Fish) Fry. The one Suggestion i will give to them is they are charging for a small cup of payasam in steel which we all know which is usually free at many restaurants.

Meals and fish fries are delicious. Their prawns, Avoli, chemballi is a must try.
