Most beautiful place I have ever visited. Need special permission from forest department to enter to this forest region. The vibe up there cannot be expressed in words β€οΈπŸ’”

The hills rise steeply, gazing into the sky. Thick forests and meadows creep on to them. In between are little streams carrying crystal clear water. The fog appears intermittently. All these make Aranamala, a land of magic sights in the Wayanad district of Kerala. One takes Chooranmala road from Meppadi, and takes a turn from Kalladi to Aranamala. The climb is a zig-zag one, with valleys coming up on both sides. Lush green hills offer mesmerizing views. Beyond that are valleys blanketed by the fog. The meadows and the woods offer a visual treat. The path runs through cardamom plantations and forests. Some of the best cardamom plantations on Wayanad are located in Aranamala

An excellent stay. Do book a barbeque. The ride to the resort is amazing.. surrounded by forests you'll hear lots of insects but the resort is very neatly maintained. Few pointers: there isn't much within the property so be ready to walk out and go for a tiny Trek. There is a small stream and pool you can walk to. There is barely any mobile signals, so enjoy being cut off. Special thanks to Hanish for the hospitality and amazing photographs.

I and my friend had a one night stay. The resort is in the middle of a rainforest. couldn't hear anything apart from the rain, the flowing water or the birds. the rooms were comfy like any luxury hotel room. Their service was perfect aided by receptionist Manish who was of great help to us. The trekking was great and their pool was natural just below a waterfall making the stay environmental friendly in every way. Thank you so much Trivella

Beautiful place in the midst of nature for early morning treks and watching the sunrise. The continuous chirping of birds just brings pure joy. Serene waterfalls are one of things to look forward to.

Aranamala Peak is located in City of Wayanad state of Kerala which has other variety of things to explore.one of the stunning hill stations in Wayanad. It is an extremely scenic hill station on the State Highway between Kozhikode and Ooty.

Worst experience! Badly maintained! 1 or 2 staff are good but the rest of them are useless and doesn't know how to talk or deal with a customers problems --they didn't want to arrange a jeep for 4 of us to get back to our car, he ignored me when I was asking him for a separate jeep as they wanted to squeeze us in a jeep which already had five people (the jeep is included in the tariff as the resort is 4 km with only 4*4 access). And we walked back 4 to 5 Km to our car and never returned any money back as well. (We saw many jeeps on our way back who was going to pick up and drop guests and those drivers also said that the resort could have easily arranged a jeep for us 4). Nothing great for the money you spend! No value for money! Not even a clean rest room and they expect us to keep the footwear outside and use these dirty rest rooms without slippers) yuck, yuck, yuck!. Also while check-in they picked us at 4 o'clock in evening as opposed to the 2 pm check-in time, and we had to wait at the car parking after we arrived.. Nothing is organized even a bit! There is no trek people!!!, and you will not be allowed into the forest in Kerala, according to Kerala forest act you can get fined by the forest officials immediately(Forest office boards are everywhere) , I am not sure how they can mention the water fall trek in the Trivella Instagram page when they don't have the permission or access, but if you have to go it cannot be legally done but hiding from the officials, (we asked them for the water fall trek and he said the forest officials are doing rounds and cannot be done)

We had the most wonderful time at the resort. The major attraction of this place is the location. It’s super calm and a heaven for nature lovers. The staff are very friendly and helps you with whatever you want. The trek to the falls through the forest was a once in a lifetime experience. Hope to visit again soon

Tentgram is one of the most beautiful resorts in wayanad and best place to unwind the stress from daily life.A must visit for all the nature lovers. My experience with tentgram was awesome in terms of services, activities they provide and food. Excellent customer service provided by the team members. Rakesh, Siyas, Maneesh, biju, kuttan and rest of everyone made our stay most memorable. Food was very delicious especially the chicken briyani. Now stop reading and book your trip with Tentgram

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Trivella Arnalam Resort in the midst of Wayanad forest, and it was an incredible experience. The resort is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush greenery and the forest. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the food served was absolutely delicious, with a variety of local dishes that were a treat for the taste buds. But what made my stay even more special was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, especially Maneesh, who took care of us during our stay. He was an incredibly humble, kind, and friendly person, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Maneesh had an excellent knowledge of the resort and its surroundings, and he was always happy to share his insights and recommendations with us. In addition to his hospitality, Maneesh was an excellent guide, taking us on a fascinating walk through the cardamom plantation and sharing his knowledge of the area's flora and fauna. He also had excellent mobile photography skills, capturing the beauty of the resort and its surroundings perfectly. Maneesh's passion for nature and his willingness to share his knowledge made our stay even more enriching. The resort's location in the forest was also a major highlight of our trip. We enjoyed stargazing at night, and the bonfire and DJ event organized by the staff was a lot of fun. The sunrise trek was another unforgettable experience, as we got to witness the sunrise amidst the beautiful forest. The trek to the river and waterfall nearby was also a great adventure. Overall, I highly recommend Trivella Arnalam Resort for its warm hospitality, beautiful location, and excellent staff, especially Maneesh. If you're looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday in the midst of nature, this resort is definitely worth checking out!

Pros: Full five star for the location - see the cons below - The place/location is fantastic. Pure nature surrounding. - Have a waterfall nearby where one can bath/swim/enjoy. - Have decent trekking space around. - The caretaker Manish tries his best to support the visitors in terms of showing places around or taking pro quality pics. - This place is remote - need to a real offroading in jeep (takes arouund 30mins) to reach this place. - You will see some animals (Giant Brown Squirrel and colorful snails around the property). Cons: - Its a pure bachelor party place. Not at all a place to go with family. - Food quality is okay but tiings are not reliable. The day we reached we got dinner /barbecue after 9 PM. Given we had lunch around 12 (before we checked in here - as lunch not given the day you check in per package) - and no snacks in between - and no place / shop at around - it was a kind of hungry experience. With food on time - I would have given 5 star to this place. You really cant enjoy a place with a starving stomach. - No modern facility - this place has no electric connection. Power is provided by in house DG. When we visited, power was mostly not there from 3PM to 6PM then went out after 9am in the morning. at night light remains so you can charge your devices. - No Geyser/ room cleaniness could have been better/ no basic things expected from a hotel like towel (soap I got after request).

One of the most beautiful jungle resort to visit when you are in waynad. Highlights : 1) Receiving the guests. 2)Off-roading experience. 3) Manish - Matured staff who understands the guest requirements. Skilled Cinematographer i can say. Kudos to you. Overall wonderfull vacation with my friends. Things to improve 1) Food - This is the main thing which needs to improve. Please include some standard food items in Ala-Carta Menu( specially for snacks or starters).

One of the best resorts in Waynad. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the forest and feel the cool breeze. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.Luckily we met Maneesh,he briefed us about the place,it's history and how it is preserved perfectly. He made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.Regards to Sanju who set up everything just fine from the beginning of our journey till we step back into our homes.Everyone there was friendly from Maji,Arjun,Sanju and Maneesh. We haven't felt like we were far away from our home, not even for a second, due to the hospitality we got there.

Everything about Aranamala takes you back to how the world was originally meant to be. Nature at its glorious best and people at their simplest. If you don't mind the absence of mobile connectivity and are looking to truly find solace amidst the forests of Wayanad this place is just what you need. It's simple, authentic and charming in more ways than you expect. Clean and asthetically designed rooms, good food, extremely hospitable and helpful staff, sounds of the forest, all making for an unforgettable experience. P.S. Maneesh from the resort is super enthusiastic and will take you to plantations and waterfalls and on sunrise treks like he is taking one of his own. Not to mention, he is an excellent photographer and will make some great videos too. One of the prettiest resorts I have been to for sure!

Worst resort service ever had. They left us stranded for hours at some pickup location even after our check in time of 2 pm. And even after that they came with just 1 Jeep for picking up 50 people's. Which only holds 8 people and takes another half an hour for 1 trip. Very bad experience and my holiday is ruined due to their unprofessional service. Please avoid this place if you don't want your holiday ruined.
