The first experience of eating Myanmar food is not bad. It tastes more or less like Thai food. There is tom yun, the taste is almost the same but different. The vegetables are also delicious, like Chinese food. There is spicy and there is also curry. Relaa price

It’s rare enough to find Burmese cuisine but rarer still to find Burmese cuisine that is authentic and tasty. This is one of the best Burmese restaurants that Ive eaten in! Unbelievably tasty food and generous portions at a decent price. The location is easy enough to find and the food came out fast. If you like Burmese food then give this place a shot!

One of my favourite lunch hangouts. I think the price is all right. The food is great though. My friend hosted his wedding dinner here and the food is really good. I would recommend the Tea Leaf Rice. Comes with fried chicken and soup. Less than $10 during lunch.

Tried the dishes and wasn’t mind blowing. Fried rice was very normal but big portion. Have to get used to the tea leave salad. Mohinga tasted like mee siam to me. Milk tea was normal too, can’t taste difference from teh tarik

Who likes Burmese food? Do not miss to try this restaurant. Authentic Burmese food taste and has a variety of menus to choose from. Friendly service and affordable food prices. The shop has two rooms. On the other side, there will be food for customers to choose to top with rice. The restaurant on the other side is an a la carte menu.

Great friendly and attentive staff, but unfortunately service can't make up for the less than average food. Papaya salad was delicious, but the rest of the dishes were salty and soaked in oil. Tried the chicken curry and caramelised pork, both were sitting in oil, not much flavour to both either and the pork was quite tough to chew

Super delicious food. The tea leave salad is a must try so is this tamarind drink which to me was the star of the show. The fried pork ribs with garlic was average - a bit heavy - so order accordingly. The coconut noodle dish was delicious. Semolina dessert was not sweet - had I known, i would have ordered something sweet 😅 Overall a really good meal. Try to go by 7 as the restaurant gets crowded after 7.30 pm.

I previously travelled to Myanmar and enjoyed the food there. Hence, I was pretty excited to try this place. Unfortunately, I was not very satisfied. While we were quickly ushered into the restaurant, the food took some time to arrive. The mohinga ($8.50) was served lukewarm. I was also disappointed with the myanmar milk tea ($3). It tasted like the usual milk tea you get from coffee shops and there was a slight bitter aftertaste. This is certainly not how myanmar milk tea tastes like! We also got the curry chicken set lunch ($14.90) which came with a pennywort salad (you get to choose from a few appetisers) and a drink. Portions were really tiny though. One saving grace was the chili fish sauce (of all things) that came with the meal. The salad was also good.

The basement of Peninsula has many choices of Thai/Burmese food. One of my favourites is closed (not sure closed permanently or closed temporarily), so I tried this shop. I ordered the usual - Tom Yam soup, steamed tilapia, papaya salad, and fried pork. The Tom Yam was good, and the portion was quite generous. The papaya salad was quite standard. The steamed tilapia was good, although I think the other shop has better taste of the spices. The fried pork was tasty, but over fried, because it was tough to chew! Otherwise, it’s quite decent. A bit pricey, and this is my only gripe.

I wish there is no star rating. Although there are already bad reviews, I have not experienced it myself and my the owner's wife is my grandmom's friend so I try to even bring my friends to here. Speechless of their customer service. Their staffs are okay but the owner treat customers in such a rude manner. He thinks highly of himself and the food don't deserve that high price tag. $6 for this curry. I only ate a bit from there. Its not a leftover. They also have a shop on 3rd flood called Shwe War Myay. Even the staffs feel bad for us customers because of the owner.

Went on a weekday during lunch time. The food and service was good and the restaurant was well maintained. Tried the following and would recommend them: Prawn Risotto, Penny Worth Salad, Papaya Salad (quite spicy) Shwe Yin Aye(bread with coconut milk and jellies) as seen in picture. I am giving a rating of 4 stars since allergen advice is not mentioned and menu is not friendly towards those with dietary restrictions.

The texture of their pickled tea leaf salad is so crunchy and mouthwatering. Like the dried onion topping for the fried eel, although the eel itself it’s a bit tasteless. The flavour of the braised pork is rich with the black bean sauce. The texture of the meat is chewy, not tender. Very curious dish of this chicken bone salad in tofu gravy, it tastes slightly sour and citrity. The chicken kidney inside is very yummy.

I had a few dishes here and there were some hits and misses. I thought it was pretty good that we could scan a QR code and order from an online menu and make payment on it. However, I soon realised that for many of the other Burmese customers, they were ordering directly with the servers. I had to indicate to a server that I had placed an order online. I ordered a Mohinga ($8.50) but was disappointed. The broth was thin, which was very different from what I had tried when I was in Bagan and Yangon. The dry shan noodle ($8) was pretty good, with a bean paste base. I would highly recommend the Shan Tofu Noodle($8). You have a stretch of tofu on top of noodles, with pieces of meat. The tofu is also a lot more stickier than what you normally experience with Chinese tofu.

Brilliant authentic food. Went with a friend who is from Myanmar. Verdict was that the food tastes just like home. The potion sizes were generous. We ordered one meat, one veg, one soup and two rice dishes to share. Which was plenty. However slightly on the expensive side, as without alcohol it came to SGD 50. Though worth it.

Tasty food, especially the tea leaf rice salad, but price on the high side (and smaller portions), compared to the surrounding Myanmar restaurants.

I am a long-term customer of Inle Restaurant since 2007 and have been ordering deliveries regularly through foodpanda and grab for past 3 years. But lately they’ve tried to short-change me by sending small instead of regular sized order “by mistake”. One-time mistake is fine but it happened again yesterday and when I called them, they were so unfazed by their so-called “mistake”. I won’t be ordering from them again. Here is their $25 Crispy Catfish with Chilli with two small catfish.

My boyfriend and I had never had Burmese food before, we are glad that the service was great and the meal was delicious—and the portions were just right for us! The lunch and experience on Saturday were fantastic! We will definitely return and eat there again. 🇲🇲👍🥰🍚

The food are good, but poor service management, first time dine in our order only served after 1 hour, they gave 10% discount for this at the end. The second time I ordered take away at the outlet itself but no one was telling me waiting time was 30 minutes until I stood at the gate for 15 minutes

Order from the secret menu for glossy pork and chicken with curry powder. Spicy chicken is good on the regular menu. Everything goes great with beer. A place for many drinks and much food. I’ll be back.

the pork with innards noodle could be better seasoned. chili sauce pretty good tho. the poppy seed like dessert made of wheat flour is worth ordering. soft and not too sweet. myanmar food tastes like subdued Thai food. the milk tea tastes like hk milk tea. the desert that looks like ice kacang taste like what it looks like. would go back to try again but kinda pricey.

The food here is definitely an acquired taste for Singaporeans. Enjoyed the chilli eel but I felt there was more fried onions than eel. The flavours are in generally quite heavy and very different from the Singaporean palate.

Food is good, especially for those who want to hunt something different, inle’s specialty won’t disappoint you. Shan Warm Tofu is very interesting dish to try, almost similar to Yunnan’s (Thin Bean noodles) 稀豆粉.

It was a first time trying Burmese cuisine and it was certainly an eyeopener. Service was great and the staff explained their must tries to us. Definitely loved the Kyay Oh, the Shan tofu noodles. What caught me by surprise was the tofu fritters, which had an interesting bite to it. Oh and milk tea was exceptional - we learnt today that they brew their own milk tea and can adjust the sweetness according to our likeness Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

Having recommended to me since donkey years ago, I had finally tried Inle's Burmese food! They may appear to look like their neighbors' dishes but actually tastes nothing like them. The flavours weren't deep but really rich. From the tea leaves salad with really crispy broadbeans, chickpeas, peanuts, fried and fresh garlic slices, fresh tomatoes, cabbage, dried shrimps, toasted sesame seeds, alot of tamarind and lime juices, multilayered rich yet mild tasting flavours hitting you like a steady wave; To the unassuming tofu fritters with texture like a cross with potato mash but is actually made of chickpea flour giving it's unique texture; To gourd fritters made with bottle gourd, an asian vegetable that aids in digestion and cools you in summer, texture like that of a zucchini. Then comes the mains, a big pile of chewy shan rice noodles paired with oil based chicken cooked in tomatoes, flavour steadily spread through every mouthful, served with a rich bone broth on the side; Burmese curry noodles available in soup and dry, with the soup version being rich with a mildly sweet curried coconut milk broth, and dry version having a little of the same coconut milk broth with a chunk of chickpea powder to mix into a way thicker sauce. My feels after this meal: nothing deep nor refreshing, just a constant mild richness, truly a taste sensation that is new to me. Amazing. Thank you Myanmar ❤️👍🏻

Service has considerably deteriorated over the years. I was a regular customer there for the past 8-9 years and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. However, this last experience made me NOT want to return again. I walked in to get takeaway and was told to wait around 20 minutes. That was fine. What really angered me was that the customers dining in got their food first even though they ordered their food after me. Was told by one of the waiters when questioned, "Oh the salad bar and kitchen are separate" - though he didn't even know which table I was referring to. They were not eating salads. The waiter did not even apologise and even had the audacity to make up excuses. Needless to say, I got my food after half an hour of waiting. Such a shame cos the food was nice.

My virgin experience with traditional Myanmese food went really well here. The food taste so different from my usual, stimulating my palate in many ways. It's also not hard to tell that food here requires so much preparation. Really love hospitality too! **Disclaimer: if u r a health freak with zero tolerance for food that's a tad oily, this place is prob not for u.**

My very first time having a Burmese meal and this restaurant provides authentic dishes and ran by Burmese. The menu provides a must try list. From there two dishes were selected: the crispy eel and pork ribs with garlic. Both are fried until crispy and best served with chilli sauce. For appetizer, the pickled tea leaves salad is recommended. It’s crunchiness came from peanuts and broad beans. Rosellas leave as a vege dish is quite special - sour and best eat together with steam rice. The dessert and drinks are really sweet but nice.
