Something really strange happened to me in this restaurant that I will always remember. Some time ago I went here to have a burger. After I finished and paid (by card) I realized I don't have any cash for a tip. So I didn't leave a tip. Yes, yes, I know the etiquette is to leave a tip and I always do, but I didn't have change at the time and already paid the check. So, I didn't leave a tip, not a big deal, right? Well, turns out in this restaurant it IS a big deal. Because when I tried to leave through the door, the waiter actually blocked the door and handed me the box for the tip and just stared at me without saying anything. It was really awkward. First time I have experienced somebody to overcook Wagyu beef - should be impossible with all the fat marbling inside. It tasted like coal. Also served chopped in strips - you should never serve a beef of this kind in this way! It was waist of great meat and 120 EUR. Maybe it was taken from the freezer and straight on the pan? Apart from food, waiter acted odd, was trying to take plate before we finished eating, came with one plate of Tartar long time before other courses were served, was not asking how beef should be cooked (medium, rare, well-done) and making inappropriate jokes, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. I don't recommend this place to anyone. The only star goes to a taste of wine, which is luckily not prepared in the restaurant.

Since we were quite a big group of colleagues (30) the food took long to arrive, however I suppose 2hours is actually too much. Since the restaurant knew they were expecting a big group of people. After the steaks arrived all the dishes were mixed up, most of the people didn't have the sauces and side dishes that they have ordered. And lastly, the stake I asked for was meant to be medium, but all I got was a well done piece of marbel meat, which can be said that was wasted, since wasn't cooked properly. The vegetables were all cold, as if they have been standing for half an hour. And since the restaurant is ignoring the reviews about the terrible service for a few years (based on similar reviews), I will probably never visit it again.

Today (Sunday) my husband and I arrived for late lunch. 3 waiters walking around, talking with one another but couldn’t give us menus for 10 minutes. Then one of the waiters comes to take our order and got surprised that we are sitting without menus this whole time. Then the waiter questioned our order and the amount of food we want to eat. We picked hummus plate with veggies and pita and chicken cutlet with veggies. Not even hummus (appetizer) was brought in 30 minutes. We were waiting all hungry. The waiter decided that we want both dishes to be brought at the same time. Both dishes looked not great. You should say on the menu “cauliflowers with a touch of hummus and half of pita” and “black chicken kiev” because thats exactly what we received. Taste was also so so. Immediately after I ate I became so nauseous for hours, something didn’t sit right with my stomach. The full experience was a disaster so I cannot rate more than one star.

BUT i really was sad that my favorite Čilakės Meksikietiški was out of the menu. it was a real vacation flavor dish! as also very missed Israeli (humus + salads). it would be great to see these dishes back to menu.

I took the more expensive black angus ribeye (37 euros) and it was alright but disappointing considering the price. I won't get into seasoning as that's personal but some spots were missing salt. What bothered me the most is that it was chewy (similar to a 20 euro steak elsewhere) and had considerable amount if sinew at the fatty end. Ironically enough I would recommend coming here for anything but steak.

The restaurant location is great, just outside the old town. A walking distance if you are visiting and staying in the Vilnius city centre or thereabouts. The décor is done tastefully, to make you feel welcome and relaxed. As for food, we’ve had mixed experience :) We had beef tongue and foie gras, to start with. Both were served on a strange stale tasting over-toasted slice of brioche, a very poor choice for both. Pity. Tongue and foie gras were ok, but what really stood out was the wasabi “ice cream” that came with the tongue. Despite the pretentious labelling as “ice cream”, the flavour was amazing and it went very well with it. The showstopper were the steaks. The beef was carefully sourced from Uruguay, matured to different levels and priced accordingly. They were cooked and seasoned almost to perfection. Almost, as we felt the chef went a bit too heavy handed on the salt. The sauce which the steaks came with was full of flavour, but again, over salted. My wife asked for the garlic butter but she did not get it, it was not even on the menu…strange. I loved the grilled vegetables, to offset the saltiness. For desert, we’ve had crème brûlée, Japanese cheesecake and chocolate fondant: - my son enjoyed crème brûlée - cheesecake was awful, bland textureless mess - fondant was super tasty, passed the oozing chocolate lava test ;-) Service was very good by a professional experienced waiter. If we had only steaks with less salt, it would be 5 stars. And finally, with a decent bottle of Italian wine, we (a family of 3) spent almost 200 eur. Ok if the total experience was flawless. Not the first time I went there. When you order 🥩 they change the knifes, one or two time i got dull knife. Second problem i saw that personel doesn't do regular checks after food was brought, till then they do care and everything is perfect. Also to get cheque was a struggle, I needed to wait a bit.

I went there for dinner with a friend and ordered steak and french fries. Steak was ok (p.s. just came back from Argentina so my expectations for steak may be very high), i asked for ketchup for fries and was offered tomato ‘source’ which never was delivered. The place was very nice and in very good location.

The best steak in Vilnius. I came here with my partner once, came back the same week with my parents and am going again with my whole family for my leaving night next week. I was shocked to read some of the reviews - I am not sure if we are talking about the same place? The food was exquisite, staff could not have been more helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable, polite and made us feel comfortable. Steaks were cooked to perfection, sides were second to none. Absolutely recommend!

Went there with a friend to celebrate closing a nice contract, so we were in a celebratory vibe. The atmosphere is a combination of understated chic with smooth lighting which is great. We were there with the aim of getting a porterhouse but guess we should’ve called to check as they didn’t have it or T-bone. Slight disappointment. So we had the grass fed ribeye and it was cooked exactly as I asked. The fries were nice and crunchy. I try the chimichuri and béarnaise sauce. Take the later one. The wine by the glass list had good options and the lava cake at the end was a nice ending to the meal. I will go back but call ahead to get a porterhouse!

The food is amazing! The spinach cooked with cream and truffles tastes so good, it’s like the spinach was freshly picked from the garden. The fries with truffle oil and cheese will definitely make you smile. The rib-eye steak is highly recommended. So tender that is melts in your mouth.
