TL:DR
-
This
was
both
our
first
time
eating
food
from
here
and
trying
Burmese
food,
a
solid
win
on
both
accounts!
Food
was
hot,
rice
was
acceptable
and
the
flavors
were
great!
1)
Mango
chicken
-
I
enjoy
spicy
food.
I
enjoy
flavorful
food.
This
was
both,
great
job!
I
took
a
few
seconds
deciding
between
“hot”
and
“extreme”
and
was
pleased
with
my
choice
of
“hot”.
Many
Americanized
places
do
a
dreadful
job
of
making
spicy
hot
food
spicy
hot.
Aung
does
not,
there
was
a
great
lingering
heat
that
was
not
unpleasant.
2)
Lemongrass
Chicken
-
Good
flavor,
good
veggie
selection.
I
ordered
it
Mild
for
the
wife,
and
she
said
it
had
a
presence
of
heat,
but
it
wasn’t
overpowering.
A
thumbs
up
from
her.
(I
tried
one
piece,
and
it
was
good)
3)
The
chicken
in
both
dishes
had
a
little
bit
of
a
weird
firmness
to
it,
perhaps
it
was
slightly
overdone?
When
biting
into
a
piece,
it
had
a
bit
of
a
firm
snap
to
it,
not
a
texture
I
associate
with
chicken
normally.
It
was
not
unpleasant,
but
it’s
what
brought
the
score
down
from
a
perfect.
Maybe
this
is
a
Burmese
method
of
cooking?
Someone
let
me
know
if
it
is.
Do
yourself
a
favor,
savor
the
flavor
from
here.
I
will
be
trying
their
dishes
again
for
sure
and
I
plan
on
letting
others
know
what
we
found.
