August 2021: The food options in Cleveland Heights seemed very limited on a weekday before 5pm. Fortunately, Best Gyro's was there to save the day. I parked across the street in a free parking lot and stopped in to see their offerings. I ended up ordering the gyro and the falafel. Prepared fresh, I had no complaints about it. Pros: * Friendly staff. The chef and the owner/manager greeted me. The owner owner/manager gave me a lesson in their unique baklava recipe. * Amazing, cool ambience. The decor has a Greek diner feel to it. The round booth is a unique use of space. The outdoor space was closed for now. * Good food. The gyro was very tasty and up to par from what I would expect. The falafel was okay, but I've had better. The baklava was very sweet, textured, but overly syrupy. They recommend pairing baklava with the ice cream. * Covid cautious staff who wear masks and gloves. * Clean restaurant. Cons: * The restrooms were closed. Not just closed to patrons, but closed to everyone. This may have been due to covid, but it seemed strange. * Prices were steeper than I would have like. Not a major issue because prices everywhere have risen.

Food was good as usual. There was a woman behind the counter that was the most beautiful soul. She made me feel so beautifully made 💓 I so much appreciate her being such a beautiful woman and being uplifting another woman... need more women like her. Thank You! 💋

I come here often and I order the corned beef sandwich a lot. I'm very satisfied with them and the staff is nice! Also, their beef is grass fed, which is healthier for you than grain fed beef. Today, I examined their menu more thoroughly and lo and behold; they have a wide assortment of French fries. All different types!

I am really disappointed 😞. I have been here a few times before, and I always add french fries to my order (normally, really good fresh cut). But tonight, they were overcooked and a little too crispy for my liking. I couldn't even finish them. The chicken wings were cooked hard🤨. (For the cook: please dont assume everyone likes their chicken cooked hard).

The food was great. I thought it was a bit pricey until I got it and saw the serving sizes...OMG! That's a lot of food. Good value!

It's different from the other ones I've been to but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the old time decor and the woman who helped us was super friendly. We took the food to go but it was great. Only thing was it took a long time for the food but I will definitely go back. The french fries were perfect. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the music while we waited for the food.

The place make yummy gyros, it's open late, serves ice cream, AND will sell you tiny bottles of booze. This place would do AMAZING business if it were near a college campus.

Food has changed over the years but for the better. This is a go to spot for me. The salads, gyros, and polish boys are family favorites. Generous helpings, orders are always accurate, friendly staff. It's a gem!

Best Gyros is exactly what a corner food joint should be!! It's open really really late, the staff is friendly and efficient, the food is real and tasty and you can tell its made right there on the spot. Really the BEST burgers ... I mean they're exactly as you would make them at home... only better! The meat isn't frozen.. it's literally a hand made patty!! Makes such a difference. There's a ton of stuff on the menu... onion rings are great!! Walking into a place and seeing them recognize you is heart warming. And that's how they are!! LOVE BEST GYRO!!

Their fish sandwich is ten times better than McDonalds. Whoever cooked this sandwich, you have God hands. Hands down the tastiest fish sandwich I've ever ate. Coming back next time!!

It’s just simply a good experience all the way around from beginning to end the food is great Gwen & Lydia are just a joy to be around and the wall art is enough to keep you busy .. love this place
