Fun time had by all. Considering the size of our group, we had great service from Marlenie. That said, prior to getting our own section (which took a fair bit of encouragement to get), we were instructed by someone else that the bourbon we wanted was not available. That was misinformation— so if you really want to know what they have, head up to the bar and have a look. All the food was excellent. Wings, burgers and more… all excellent.

Overall the food was great. If you go there, you should try the fried pickle for fried Mac n Cheese bite. Both are amazing the batter is a crunchy batter which helps to seal in the flavor of the food. The lower rating really comes down to the slow service and the stand off attitude of the staff. We went and it wasn’t busy. The two employees at the front were too busy talking to get a table ready. When they finally did get us a table, they still had to get it cleaned before seating us. Our waitress was invisible. She would appear to take our order and collect the bill but that was the only time we saw her. We ended up with empty drink cups during the appetizers. I would suggest getting takeout here and avoiding the restaurant, that way you can still enjoy the great food but have better service at home.

Of all the different restaurants and foods I've displayed and reviewed from the various places I've visited; the place i have most frequently visited with my brother Chris over the years, is the Winking Lizard in Beachwood. From the free popcorn, watching sports on any of the 25+ televisions, the delicious foods and drinks, and welcoming environment of both patrons and staff; you too will come again. Warning, i wouldn't try the 'fire in the hole' wings unless you want to set your mouth on fire 🔥

Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Got them as takeout so I can’t say much about the dine in experience. The wings were fried well, not to dry not to wet. They were sauced adequately. I had the 911 flavor of sauce and it was quite spicy. I appreciated the amount of spice as while it was spicy it wasn’t too hot to eat. My nose was running though. The homemade ranch was an added plus. If you like wings, check this place out.

Typical sports bar atmosphere and service. Food was fantastic, ribs were very meaty, tender, and flavorful. Everything is priced very moderately especially in this economy!

This place has really good bar food. The lizard theme is a bit forced, but that's easy to overlook because the food was so delicious. We had fried pickled as an appetizer (they call them lizard freckles) and they were sliced and pretty tasty. I had the wings (flavor: hot) and I ate all ten of them because they were cooked perfectly. They had lots of televisions on the wall and lots of sports. If you like casual sports bar feels, you'll enjoy this place for sure.

The worst food I have ever had in my entire life. I ordered the chicken cheddar sandwich. It was a TINY chicken piece that was so dry from the microwave you could not eat it without choking. It was missing the side of mayo, the pickle, the lettuce and the tomato, ALL WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO COME WITH IT. The French fries were absolutely NASTY. They were a bizarre color from the RANCID OIL they were cooked in and were dry. Moving on to the pretzel sticks I ordered... They were burnt black on the bottoms. The cheddar cheese that came on the side was heated in a microwave in plastic. The plastic containers were melted so badly the lids were warped and melted into the cheese sauce making it HIGHLY TOXIC!! Avoid this place at all costs!!! The only reason they are in business is because they are near a bunch of hotels and people go there to drink.

Great food and bar staff. Kitchen needs help expediting. Front of house was excellent however a few mistakes with delivery in the kitchen lowered the review. Burgers don't last to long in a plastic container when placed at the pick up counter and not the bar. Order to go sauce bottles when you get there as they fill them at their convenience and you continue to wait.

Atypical American food. Deluxe pizza was flavorless. Cheese triangles were decent.

This was the worst Winking Lizard we have ordered food from. We get food from the Winking Lizard in Fairlawn atleast once every two weeks and it is wonderful! We had a football party to go to in Beachwood so we ordered ahead because we had a large order. I got there about 5 minutes early just to make sure the food would be picked up as soon as it was ready. They first forgot our pizzas and when I reminded them we realized they gave us the wrong kind of pizza once we got it back. They also dropped our bag of wings on the ground when going to hand it to me. They took it to the back to put it back together. Instead of putting it in two bags so the bag didn't break on me, they just told me to be careful. The wings were barely sauced and tossed. They only had sauce on parts of them. The boneless wings were so dry that you couldn't even put a fork into them to pick them up. They were hard and crunchy. They forgot our side sauces that we ordered and paid for. The onion rings were very mushy and cold like they had been sitting a long time. We were so disappointed in the order. We will not be ordering from the Beachwood Winking Lizard again!

Not a bad place to go. Prices are so much better than the steakhouse in my hotel and a much better atmosphere. I went 3 nights in a row starting Sunday. It was incredibly packed. I figured it was just the weekend but come Monday and it's packed again. Forgot about wing night. Got the wings and I realized that's why it stays packed. Great food, great beer, great staff and just an overall great time. Any time I'm back in town I'll definitely be here. That Nashville hot sauce is absolute bomb! Highly recommend.

I am not a bar scene type of person, but I did enjoy my time out this evening. I would attribute this to the unusually decent level of class of the people surrounding me on this particular evening. The service was prompt and precise, the drinks were good as was the food. I'd go here again and that's saying something given my aversion to this sort of scene.

Great spot for sports and family get-togethers. The menu is vast and nightly specials keep things interesting. Beer and whisky list is equally impressive

The food was good, and I had a Hanson Burger. My wife had the BBQ chicken. Our server was great, the only reason I gave them 3 stars was because of the person who showed us to our seats, she was rude and threw our menus on the table and walkaway.

The food was good as usual. The atmosphere was a little loud, but that is just the place. Our server was great, the hostess on the other hand was very rude. We walked in the door and stood there for a minute she grabbed some menus and started walking away, we followed her, she threw the menus on the table and said something and walked away.

Visited from indianapolis and it was so fun ! Great staff the ladies were so cool. I had a chicken quesadilla and 1 or 5 lizard hurricanes and they were both so amazing. The drinks were strong but you couldn't taste the alcohol at all really and I've only had one other quesadilka better than the one I had there my entire life was an amazing place.

Winking Lizard is a SOLID Cleveland staple. NEVER have we had a bad meal or bad service. It is in a word CONSISTENT. The best Black Bean burger I have ever had, at every location. The burgers are always perfectly seasoned, cooked and dressed. The fries are crispy on the outside, like a warm pillow on the inside. Beer is always cold and crisp, nice selection, popcorn is always fresh and crunchy, salads are always fresh...I could go on, but why? Just know that you will not be disappointed!

This is a solid place. Good burgers with a nice grilled flavor, and decent vibes. Fries were a bit cold but still crispy and tasty enough to enjoy. I would definitely eat here again.
