Renuka lake is in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the largest lake in Himachal Pradesh, with a circumference of about 3214 m. This lake was named after the goddess Renuka ji mother of Parsuram. It is well connected by the road. There are plenty of fishes in shallow water of lake. You can take good snaps of fishes while feeding them Atta goli. You can well spand a day here.

Renuka Ji lake is a very beautiful lake having beautiful sceneries all around and lotus growing in the lake which look very beautiful. Boating facilities are available here. This is a very pious lake so people have to go for boating without shoes and padal the boat themselves. Motor boats are not available. Boating charges are very nominal and affordable.

Place of Parshuram Ji and his mother Mata Renuka ji.🙏 Awesome place to visit if you want to grow on your spiritual journey. Some natural incidents can make you a little more interested in spiritualism. Other than that there is a small zoo with the facility of jungle safari and people who can't walk for so long in the zoo and around the lake (3214 m of circumference) there is electric vehicle facility available.

This lake is named after Lord Parshuram (6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu) Ji's mother Mata Renuka. As per Vishnu puran, after the death of Maharishi Jamdagni (Lord Parshuram's father) devi Renuka jumped into this lake. The lake is assumed to have the form of a woman, this is the reason why it's called Renuka Ji. It is believed that on every Prabodhini Ekadashi Lord Parshuram visit here to meet her Mother "Renuka Mata".
