Danuta and Giovanni are so wonderful and it’s amazing all that they do with a small team! We rented 3 bicycles for an 8 day self-guided tour on the SIBIT trail, starting in Palermo and ending in Syracuse. Their shop was easy to find in Sicily and they ensured we were set up well for our trip. They went above and beyond for our fourth friend who wanted to buy a bike in Palermo, making calls to shops and sending her in the right direction. I can’t recommend them highly enough. We had an amazing trip and it wouldn’t have been possible without Inspiring Tours!

I hired a Specialized Sequoia travel bicycle with a pair of Ortlieb panniers for a week. The bike was brand new and the panniers in perfect condition, the service of delivery and collection of the bike directly at the airport of Palermo was very useful as I could do the complete tour of Sicily without having to take neither buses nor trains but using only the bike. An unforgettable experience that I want to repeat.

We chose Sicily Tours for 5 days of our honeymoon and it was one of the best parts of the trip by far. Danuta and Giovanni had everything mapped out perfectly and were there for any questions or support we needed along the way. I can't recommend them, or Sicily (!!), enough.

Inspiring Tours in 100% recommendable!!! We were three friends travelling to Sicily in November to cycle from Palermo to Agrigento. Luckily we come across Inspiring Tours in Palermo. They rented us three brand-new gravel bikes in perfect conditions and borrowed us all the necessary equipment (pump, tubes, lights, bottles). They also took care of our luggage every stage and transported it to the accommodation we have booked in advance. Finally they picked the bikes back in Agrigento. On top, of that they gave us interesting remarks for the route. Sicily is a great place to cycle, there are many side roads with almost no traffic and the landscape and food is great.

Super sweet and amazing couple that were very kind. The bikes were comfortable and in great condition, perfect to tour the city with. The shop has everything you need. Definitely will be back to rent bikes here and would recommend this shop to anyone in Palermo. You can’t go wrong. Thanks guys so much for your help and kindness.

Truly fantastic experience! I rented a gravel touring bike and did the Best of the West trip, solo. The bike was excellent and well tuned, as were the panniers. All of the electronic route information was superb, and the riding was spectacular. Quiet roads and really great towns, restaurants, etc. This trip was very easy to arrange and communication with Danuta and team was excellent. Such a great trip and would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I rented a Gravel Bike to do the "Best of the West" tour in 5 days and absolutely loved it. Highly enjoyed the GPS routes that were shared with me as I could trust to take the most bike-friendly streets and see the best sights. Hotels and tips were also in the app. The equipment was perfect, too. Highly recommended!

Our bike rental experience was perfect! Danuta set up up with all of the equipment we could possibly need at no extra cost (incl. spare inner tubes, saddle bags, tools, and much more), and was constantly available over whatsapp for any issues. She sent us a great list of day trips and itineraries to follow, all tailored to our ability level. The bikes themselves were great too, and there are so many gorgeous places to use them in Sicily. I'd highly recommend renting from them.

Danuta and Giovanni provided us with superb service that exceeded our expectations. We rented two touring bikes for a month. The bikes were in excellent condition and ideally suited to the road conditions we encountered. The bikes were well geared to the hills on our route and fully equipped with rear racks for panniers as well as front and rear lights, two water bottle cages and a tire repair kit. They provided us with valuable route information as well as a cycling guide to Sicily that they had just published. They provided us with the best bike rental experience that we have had in several international cycling trips that we have done. Danuta and Giovanni are highly professional and it was easy to communicate with them prior to out trip. We highly recommend their company.

Beautiful cycling trip with large variation in scenery. Stages were suitable in length for our family aging from 12-50. Nice hotels / B&B with a personal touch in most locations. Everything was very well organised and we felt taken care of by Danuta and Giovanni! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on their Secret South tour of Sicily. Everything worked out fine, from communication to rental bikes to routes to hotels. In the last minute they were able to accommodate our request to switch to e-bikes, which was much appreciated. The scenery, beaches, and baroque towns were great!

Totally recommend! We booked a self-guided bike tour this September. The bikes, GPS tracks and tour recommendations were fantastic. We enjoyed a carefree holiday and were amazed by the scenic routes. We'll be back for more.

This was the most fantastic holiday. Inspiring Tours communication, organisation and timings were perfection. We had fabulous bikes, super varied routes, excellent hotels/suites and they even organised daily wall to wall sunshine! This was an unguided tour for my husband and I and we stopped and deviated when we liked and the bike app always got us back on track. We had a fabulous November cycling trip along the north west and south east routes. The routes were clear and interesting - along secondary roads, tracks and even beaches. The gravel bikes were perfect and the app was incredibly helpful, highlighting points of interest, historical sites and good bays for sea swims. The routes took us round and through beautiful towns so even if we couldn’t stay for long we got a good sense of each place we cycled through. Danuta was friendly and helpful - responding to our specific requests, booking excellent hotels and even helping us make our special anniversary memorable. On our return journey Danuta and Giovanni helped us see some of Palermo and were fonts of knowledge and information about everything from history to politics. Thank you for a great trip. Danuta and Giovanni at Sicily Cycling could not have been more helpful. We are experienced cyclists and plan our own tour routes. This time, instead of taking our own bikes and risking damage during air transit, we hired four Trek Duel Sport hybrids from Sicily Cycling. All was arranged by email and phone calls with Danuta. The bikes were in perfect condition, fully equipped with panniers, spare tubes and tools and helmets. This meant that we were able to fly out with just hand luggage. Everything that we had agreed including a bike pick-up point outside Palermo worked like clockwork and the bikes proved to be perfect for the conditions that we encountered. With no problems during our entire tour and safe in the knowledge that we had an emergency number if needed, we recommend Sicily Cycling very highly indeed. Andy, May 2023
