I stayed at Forums hotel. Arriving from the airport I saw an "Australian" bar next door. Being Australian I thought it was a bonus!! Very happy I stopped here for a beer. The staff are very friendly and treated me as a friend. Maybe because I spent so much time here chatting with people and drinking way too much delicious ales. I also met some great people from Italy and England and had a few drinks with them. Though the bar area is small, the pub has a large seating area on the deck. Great to people watch! The price of drinks was fair and affordable. The VW comby van makes a great bar. My best wishes to all the staff. If im ever in Riga again, Im sure to drop in and stay for a while. Thanks for your friendship.

Not so cheap beer, but it was good. Place is small and cool But the staff wasnt that friendly, even when i was buying they didnt said a word, just poored my beer and gave it to me. Because of the rude answer here i will change my review to 1 star. I expect staff to at least say hi and respond, just normal manners in the service business

This little pub is very cosy and has an amazing choice of beers. The atmosphere is very laid back and the price for a beer is quite honest in my opinion. Definitely the best pub we visited during our stay in Riga. I would recommend a visit if you are up to some local beers.

I don't live in Latvia anymore so it was interesting to see if Aussie Pub is still a good stop for a pint of beer.... and Yes(!), it certainly is. Staff is friendly (as long as you respect them, which should always be the case), prices are one of the cheapest in the Old town, and they have started to sell more of the local craft beers, which was a pleasant surprise (14 taps + cans in the fridge) They have a massive summer terrace outside which is always a bonus.

Have visited only the pub that has very interesting and cozy interior. Inside they have a car that is made into a bar. Not a place of high quality but a perfect place to sit with friends and just hangout.

What can I say about my Watering Hole? It is good. So good that I brought my friends here too. They have a big selection of beers and even cocktails. The bartenders are also very nice too. And I loved to shazam their music playlist too!

Its Nice to hear bar manager spreding lies about me. I arrived late to meeting with my friends, noticed they where having beers. From my perspective i didnt know where they got them, but they where empty, and i dont know what that bar serves. So after we got coktails we got baisically attacked by manager about thoes beers. She was rude and specifically pointed me out. Shure i did go there a lot but how should i know if they serve thoes beers. My friends left bad reviev. After wich i got banned from there and asked to apologise? Really i was just a bystander. And they had right to do that... and im kinda glad they did.

I stayed at Hostel around 20 September 2022 after several years not passing through and it is even better than ever. VERY clean and organised dorm, bunks and showers, all secure. Kind staff welcome and coffee or beer in the morning. Every aspect has been well thought through during the years.

My favourite hostel in Riga. In the centre of the city, bus station is across the street. There's also a bar downstairs, the staff is friendly and always ready to help.
