Great place to stay when visiting Riga! Staff is very nice, will help with anything you need and they also give an insight on what to see and do nearby. Rooms are clean and neat, everything is super secure. Great social atmosphere, it is a place to meet new people for sure. 10 out of 10 would recommend. :)

Great hostel. Super clean, helpful and informed staff, and a nice atmosphere in the common area. A real backpackers kinda hostel. The black balsam shot on arrival was a stomach warming addition!

Ein wirklich tolles Hostel mit perfekter Lage. Unser Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bequem und das Bad war klein aber total ausreichend und sauber. Im Hostel gibt es fast jeden Tag Aktivitäten wie Pubcrawl und Beerpong. Dadurch kann man viele andere Reisende kennenlernen. Einzig das Wifi war nicht so gut Ansonsten kann ich das Hostel nur empfehlen.

Friendly staff, good rooms, a lot of toilets and showers, all very clean. Not a party hostel, but pub crawls are organized and there's lots of room to hang out with people. Good price, but there are cheaper options too.

Probably one of the best hostels I have stayed in so far. The staff is super friendly and helpful and in a good mood. Everything is as clean as it should be. I could even borrow an umbrella which really saved my a** on a rainy but interesting day in Riga.

Great location - easy to walk to transportation and the Old Town. Friendly helpful staff. We can recommend the private room with a lovely hot shower and a fan that kept us cool and white noise t hat helped with street noise at night.

Toilets could do with a better clean. One was brown underneath! Other than that, was very clean & a nice environment.

Such a great hostel. Went in December 2022 and loved the atmosphere and people. Rooms are comfortable and the laundry service was very handy. Highly recommend for a top-notch backpacking experience.

It’s a great hostel. It’s super clean, a good service and there are a lot of nice activities organised by the hostel. Also, a drink in the hostel bar is recommended too. Don’t forget that there’s no better located place than this one!

If you are in Riga and looking for a place to connect with fellow travellers this is the place to be. The hostel is very clean, staff is very helpful and fun to be around. Great activities are offered as well. Please be aware that this is not a hostel to relax and unwind. So gathers more towards young guests (or guests that still feel young). Will definetly stay here again in the near future!

Decent hostle, backpacking spirit, plenty restrooms, clean, good rooms.

Very close to the city center. Free welcome shot of a local spirit when you check in. Beer in the fridge and on the tap. Daily activities, such as walking tour, pub crawl or beer pong. You can order for shooting at the range with them directly. Super friendly staff.

If you want to have a real Latvian experience, than this is your accommodation! 🇱🇻👌 Staffs are more than amazing, everything is clean, tidy and cozy. Our bed was comfortable, table soccer is perfect, and the welcome drink at 11am showing how much they care about their customers 🥰 We are more than satisfied, thanks for the experience! /Hungarian gang/

The hostel presents itself as a party hostel. But the reality is different. The bar and beer pong room closes at 22:00. If you are still in the common room afterwards, the staff will immediately ask you to leave the room. The manager is very unfriendly, has no understanding and has prejudices! It was my worst hostel experience! Don't go!

Really great hostel! I stayed for two nights and had a perfect experience. The staff genuinely cares about your experience in Riga and gives ample information about the city and how to have a great time there. Clean and well maintained. One of the best social atmospheres I’ve seen in a hostel in a long time.

Best hostel in Riga located in the old town. Rooms are big&comfy, bathrooms/showers are clean, fully equipped kitchen.. The staff is welcoming and helpful that makes you feel at home! They do a lot of activities around the city, join them and you’ll discover Riga and meet amazing people! There are 2 social rooms where you can watch TV, play beer pong, foosball.. I had a very nice stay here

One of the best hostel experiences I've had on my year long backpacking trip. The hostel is very social and offers actives almost every day. When we were there, we shot guns at a shooting range, had a beerpong tournament (which I won), and went on a pubcrawl. The guys working are some of the best you'll meet and you are welcomed with a shot of traditional Latvian liquor.

Great and cheap hostel All staff speak fluent English, some also speak Russian Rooms and facilities (WC, showeres) very clean I did not have time to participate in the events organized at the hostel, but I am sure they are great too

When you first walked in, you may be shocked by how 'old' it looks..but as you go up a level to check in, smiling faces greet you. I didnt get the shot everyone talked about but the team was able to speak English fluently so you dont gave to worry if you think they only speak Latvian. And then I stupidly left behind my electronic stuff when I left and came back a few days later. Matt and Gab was so kind to go on a hunt mission, but couldnt find it and offered an alternative, which I am deeply thankful for. The worst side of me bought out the best side of Naughty Squirrel Team! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Matt also taught me how to open the door correctly, it is a hard wooden door and I'm tiny and didnt use enough force. There are no lifts, but it doesnt matter to me. So if you wanna be at a fancy posh place then this aint for you to come and leave a bad review afterwards. It is true that this isnt a party hostel. The party sounds came from outside. BUT MATT COOKS WICKED PASTA for family meal night! So good! Didnt drink the beer but I know it is cheaper than buying it outside. Room, and shower area is clean. Kitchen is cozy so dont expect to be able to cook up a storm there, but it doesnt matter to me too. So good, Im really happy with this hostel. The human experience here is top notch, because the team made me feel right at home 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

The concept is very practical, eventhough you share a room, but you have a perfect bed with a plug on top, foosball table next to the bar, with beer pong table. Highly recommended for students and travelers.

I stayed at this hostel for around 3 days and had a great experience. The staff was more than accommodating, providing discounted activities, a safe environment, and a great time! Had a blast thanks to this establishment, and I highly recommend a visit.

I went with my friend for 5 days to Riga and we had the best stay in this hostel! We had a private room for the two of us. The room was clean and big. We shared the bathroom with our floor. It was always clean and there were enough showers and toilets. The staff had answers for all our questions and gave us a lot of option to do while we were there for a long time. At the end of the day we joint always the hostel activities to meet people. We loved doing the beer tasting, house party and all the pub crawls. It was so much fun and there was a great atmosphere. Thanks to the staff and specially Dave for the great time! 5/5 ⭐️

best hostel i've stayed in! All of the staff/volunteers were amazing and we had so much fun going on the pub crawl with them! They definitely took us to the best spots! Rooms are super cosy and clean and we felt so at home staying there. highly recommend!
