Mount Pavilia is a beautiful venue, we absolutely loved the place for our wedding. The owner is a very good guy sociable and understanding, and the staff is good and down to earth. However I rated it 2/5 because they have very poor communication skills. They change things written on paper without informing the client until it’s very late. They abide by the rules on paper if it favors them only. They have limited decoration items to use for decor and they do not communicate with the client until you suggest for something else then they charge extra. There’s poor management of departments, for example the kitchen management received our food items a day before the wedding and when we arrived on the wedding day, the soft drinks and water delivered for the wedding were still stacked in the room where they had been delivered to, they were not refrigerated and served at room temperature/warm on a very hot summer day. Also the same room that had these things packed, was the bridal room and it had to be cleaned whilst the bride is waiting outside. We had a guest list of 200 and we had about 160 guests but the food served to our present guests was very little and none was atleast shown to us that it had remained. They literally took all the leftovers without our consent and we had our guests complaining for being served little food, i and my wife personally got served a teaspoon of sadza. We paid money for cocktails that were meant to serve 200 people but upon having less than 200 guests some available guests did not get any, and we don’t understand why and how that happened. We requested alcohol to be sold on the day but there wasn’t alcohol when people wanted to buy, however it was later delivered but it was in small supply and again at room temperature. Also by the way they sold nice ice cold water for themselves and served our clients our water warm, that we had brought in the previous day. The Dj just generally needs to work on his skills, he plays the whole song without actual knowledge of the hit part it’s a bore, again he shuts the song and its best go whilst guests are still having a time of their life without the MC’s consent. They really really need to work on understanding what the client wants, we specifically told them we did not want a gold table and gold chairs but we saw it at our ceremony whilst walking down the aisle and we couldn’t do anything about it at this point. We bought rose petals to put along side with the white walkway to cover the concrete but they did not use them, it looked exactly the way we didn’t want it to. However we loved the place, we had a great wedding, we got beautiful complementary discounts and offers from Mr Watson and we will forever be grateful.

We had our wedding at the venue on the 26th of January 2025. I loved their coordination and teamwork on the day events planning. The team is committed to their work and very responsible in their event planning. When we arrived at the venue everything was on point and guests were cordially arranged and the ceremony area well decorated beautifully. Their ushering was out of this world. Despite having a harsh rainy day on the day of our wedding, we hardly noticed the effect as the Pavilia team worked tirelessly to rectify the situation and everything came out beautifully as we expected. On reception area everything went smoothly and in short the Pavilia team is professional. Mount Pavilia is the only way to go for weddings. Thank you for making our wedding a memorable one. The most beautiful wedding and conference establishment in Mashonaland Central, it gives an amazing garden experience with refreshing uphill atmosphere and amazing landscape view of mountains, valleys and green plantations in Mazowe. The venue is a very nice place to be, offers various spots suitable for splendid photographs and amazing unforgettable memories. They have an amazing young and energetic team of management and staff. Their teamwork and cooperation is unmatched, they will make your dream wedding come true. I loved their catering team, they prepare very delicious mouth watering dishes and serves very chilled drinks as well as sell cold beers at their in-house bar. Not forgetting about the nice fingerfoods served during cocktail party. This place is the place to be, be a guest and have an unforgettable garden experience full of life!
