Staff
is
nice,
but
oh
so
uninformed
with
no
communication
with
other
departments.
On
my
second
to
last
visit
they
apparently
'overcharged'
me.
When
I
came
in
to
pay
it
they
told
me
that
it
was
corrected
and
I
owned
nothing
(this
after
about
two
weeks
of
harassment
from
their
billing
department).
Fine.
That's
why
in
my
last
visit
I
asked
the
receptionist
to
double
check
exactly
how
much
I
owned
so
this
problem
wouldn't
occur.
They
checked
and
I
paid
the
full
amount.
A
week
later
i
get
a
bill
for
an
extra
$100.
Apparently
something
I
wasn't
told
about
cost
some
$190
that
no
one
told
me
they
claim.
How
can
a
customer,
who
asked
for
the
full
price
of
all
their
services,
not
be
told
the
price
of
this?
I've
been
speaking
with
collections
since
then
trying
to
figure
out
how
much
I
actually
own
since
I'm
being
told
by
multiple
people
different
things.
A
week
ago
I
was
spoke
to
them
again
and
they
said
the
case
had
been
sent
to
someone
higher
up
to
evaluate
and
they
would
contact
me
again.
They
didn't
so
I
called
TODAY!
They
lady
told
me
the
case
was
still
being
investigated
and
I
should
'ignore'
the
bills.
This
afternoon
just
a
few
hours
after
that
call
I
got
a
bill
in
the
letter.
The
amount
I
owned
has
jumped
from
some
$120
to
close
to
$300.
The
mystery
procedure
that
cost
$190
now
costs
over
$300!
I'm
suppose
to
ignore
this?
When
the
cost
they're
charging
me
keeps
going
up
ever
week?
Why
are
you
doing
this?
Why
can't
you
get
charges
correct?
Why
can't
your
staff
tell
us
how
much
we
owe
when
we're
there
so
we
don't
get
surprise
charges.
Why
do
you
hate
your
patients?
This
is
the
only
hospital
with
the
specialists
I
need.
I
CAN'T
GO
ANYWHERE
ELSE.
Why
can't
you
just
be
upfront
with
what
I
owe?
Why
do
I
keep
being
told
different
things
by
different
people?
Why
is
billing
still
trying
to
collect
if
the
amount
owned
is
under
review?
Are
you
actually
doing
anything?
Update:
6/18/23
They
still
haven't
called
me
back.
The
reply
on
this
review
was
a
lie.
Months
of
lies
and
promises
of
a
call
back
and
nothing.
Finally
broke
and
just
paid
the
balance.
Was
PROMISED
that
was
the
my
total
amount
and
I
would
not
be
sent
any
more
bills.
Two
days
later,
this
weekend
was
sent
a
bill
(FYI,
their
billing
is
closed
on
weekends
so
I
can't
even
reply
to
it).
The
whole
'pay
your
total
amount
at
the
office,
but
bill
you
l
later,
under
the
pretext
that
what
you
were
charged
was
an
"Estimate"'
seems
to
be
a
very
common
scam
tactic
they
use.
This
is
the
link
to
the
Texas
Medical
Board
to
file
a
complaint.
I
will
be
writing
a
former
complaint
about
UT
Health
RGV's
questionable
billing
practices.
I
suggest
anyone
else
who
is
suffering
this
problem
do
the
same
as
it
is
VERY
VERY
clear
they
are
not
addressing
the
problem.
Apparently
you
can't
place
links
in
these
reviews
but
check
the
TMB
website
for
the
complaint
form.
Oh
yeah,
refusing
to
send
a
patient
information
release
form
too.
Just
add
that
to
the
pile,
so
I
can't
even
go
to
another
doctor
about
my
problems
if
I
wanted
to.
