Overall, an okay stay. My family of four stayed for a 3 night stay. Not once did we have our linens changed, room cleaned or trash picked up. Also, no fresh towels.. there were toys from likely the previous guests inside the room.. goes to show the room was not cleaned well beforehand. There were red stains all over the carpet. The amenities were why we stayed - Free parking, free hot breakfast, and the pool. My kids enjoyed coming down and the selection of food. It was convenient, but I would not come back based on service and cleanliness.

I stopped by from a long day at work. I was at the Bar there watching football. The server/bartender there Brandi was great. Excellent customer service. She was the only person there serving food and drinks. She did it in a very timely manner as well. I recommend this place for a night cap. The rest of the crew enjoyed the evening as well.

The service is horrible. I asked for towels and waited two hours only to be told they have no big towels. I understand it's a staffing shortage but I visited the front desk twice to ask for towels. They kept saying someone will bring them. I even seen the housekeeper in the hall with a cart full of towels. She said "we short and somebody will bring you towels." The funny part is she was the person to bring the towels... 😆😅🤣🤣😅😆

Wow! Very impressed with this hotel. The staff is AMAZING! Everyone very helpful and went over and beyond to make my stay AMAZING! The breakfast was good and my colleagues enjoyed the drinks and food from the bar. The hotel was extremely clean. I even saw an employee wiping down the pictures.. I was like “WOW” they are cleaning here. Lol I will definitely return

Very nice hotel! They have multiple room options, one with or without a kitchen and etc. The room was always clean! No bugs or dirty sheets and the staff was friendly! The location is amazing, 5 minutes from a mall and multiple restaurants. I Definitely recommend!

No early check in.... Not feeling great. Wanted to lay down so used early check in option given from website. Nope, no go. No early check in ??!! Shortly after checkout as we headed down the road we realized we had left an expensive pair of headphones. We called the hotel immediately. They advised they would get them and call back. That was days ago. I guess we inadvertently donated my childs headphones to the housekeepers fund..... Criminals ....

I stayed here for a week with husband and overall my stay was pretty good. Breakfast had excellent options and the live omelette was the best! Front desk staff were really helpful and cordial. The only con was the housekeeping. I wanted to schedule housekeeping after 4pm as I had to attend virtual work meetings till noon. But they weren’t able to accommodate the request of late housekeeping. Also, the nonstick utensils provided in the kitchenette were scratched and hence unsafe to use. Overall, a great place to stay and relax.

During my time at the Hyatt House Oak Brook Illinois, we spotted Bed Bugs In our room. I took photos as well. Then upon further investigation we discovered the let-out Couch had lots of stains, black stains several holes around the mattress, and urine stain on the bed. The let-out couch mattress is in bad condition and should be replaced. The bedroom bed also had some spots on it as well on the side. We contacted the Hotel to explain the problem. However, the sales manager stated that the manager was unavailable at the time, and we have been waited over for several hours for manager response. We are very disappointed regarding this bed bug issue and the condition of the Mattress and room. We have photos and videos of the poor condition of the room, bed and bedbugs. I feel I was placed in the room intentionally by Hotel staff who was aware of a bedbug problem in the room. Based on a conversation that took place before being placed in the room among other things. This is because I complain on the hotel a few years ago 2020 about a dirty room with hair in the sheets as well as being overcharged. Once I complained about the bed bug issue Nicole the general Manager had the audacity to call my phone leaving a voicemail message that I still have a record of, talking about I had an unrelated complaint 2 years ago. Not addressing the current issue. This was pathetic, and I feel the reason why I was placed in a room with a known bug problem. The I was further harassed at the hotel by a staff member named Joe who called me Mr. when I'm female that was also intentional. Misgendering anyone intentional is discrimination. Ruby is not a good manager at the Hotel as well. Once we reported the Bed bug issue we were told to leave the hotel after the complaint, and proof of bed bugs. Since my complaints I have been talked about and slandered by this hotel to other Hyatt locations as well. That will be addressed appropriately. The entire hotel was beautiful and clean. The breakfast tasted great. Great parking. Loved it but after I got home I realized they stole $341 out of my account. They told me that they could see that the stay was prepaid and they had no valid reason to have taken extra money out of my account. Now it’s going to take 10 business days for them to refund it 🙄🙄.

Nice hotel.. the service was great and everyonewas friendly. The breakfast was pretty good including hot items ( if you are familiar with Hyatt Place breakfast, this would be similar but with more hot dishes options). The rooms were clean but not in a great condition, which I didn't expect at this price.

We had a king room. No issue with the main room. The bathroom was cramped. The vanity was much too small for our two toiletry items. The toilet location was cramped. When opening the hinged shower door, water from the door dripped quite a bit on the floor and towel mat. Other than that our stay was wonderful. As an Army veteran I received a very nice rate reduction. Thank you Hyatt. All services in the main entry area of the hotel were top notch! The complementary breakfast was delicious. Christina made us a delicious custom ingredient omelet. She was so accommodating and sweet. In the kitchen she makes all of the other delicious selections. The bar and the several food items they serve are very good. The seating is plentiful.

Had such a great experience figured I’d write about it. We came from Wisconsin and stayed two weekends, one after the other, for two different funerals. And in our sad time is was a blessing to have such a lovely stay. Our rooms were very clean and spacious. The lobby is beautiful and well kept. The staff go above and beyond and are the sweetest! We had a toilet issue and they gave us a free drink to apologize for it. Just all around great customer service. We’re not even fully done with our latest stay and I’m confident enough to write this before our stay is fully over, that the rest of our stay will be just as amazing. One thing that kinda sucked was that the shower would leak all over the floor, not just a little bit, but with all the extra towels in the room it was easy to just leave them on the floor

Great room, we often stay at various Hyatt House's. The breakfast at this one is average at best, seems a bit processed than made, but a nice bonus nonetheless for the stay.

I made a reservation to stay for 6 nights. When I called to confirm reservation was told that the incidental rate was $50 during week and $100 on weekends. When I inquired why different was told it is a protection in case something happens in the room. Then the girl disconnected me. Called back and asked for a manager and was told no one was on duty. She then said you know you have to pay your whole room upfront. Never had an interaction like this and was surprised because Hyatt is usually very good with customer service. Not sure what they think will do to the room on the weekend or what happens on weekends but decided best to cancel. I left a message for Nicole the GM but no call back. Very disappointing!

While checking in the 2 young ladies at the front desk were very helpful. However I believe that customers should be informed of the incidental charges prior to charging the credit cards. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The housekeeper Ari was very sweet and left a note welcoming me to the room. Which I thought was very sweet. The room was very clean so that was a 5/5. The bathroom door did not close at all when I checked in, however this was not a problem because I traveled solo. But I did inform the front desk at check in so they could fix the issue prior to giving the room to the next customer. For those traveling alone they have the extra security flap (u could call it lol) to prevent people front opening the door, this made me feel safe. They did offer breakfast but I did not partake this time maybe next visit 😁. Now this is not necessarily on the hotel but it was very noisy due to the kids running in the hallways throughout the afternoon. Some families visited each others rooms of course however this caused in and out running and slamming of the doors. The doors are very loud when slammed and is disturbing for those who are actuary there to have a quiet vacation. Again this was not the hotels fault but I think enforcing the rules of being quiet to not disturb others is very important especially at the high price. The housekeepers were available in the morning if there was a need for new sheets or towels, which was nice. They offered a laundry bag in the closet. The mini fridge also had an ice tray with an ice holder, there is a ice machine in every floor for convenience. Sorry for so much information but wanted to give an honest review. I would definitely book here again. The location was great near the mall and great restaurants near by Yard House and Lazy Dig are top picks. Thanks for the stay Hyatt House 🥰

I love my stay here. What I thought was going to be a short visit, has turned into months and every day has been a pleasure. The staff is genuinely pleasant and caring. Monica, Rosabell, Gali, Jailani and all the reception and kitchen staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome no matter what time of day or night. The facilities are very clean and if you have a problem, it is attended to immediately. I know when it’s time to go home that it will be hard leaving here.

Clean, roomy and affordable. I had two queens and a den. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Walk in shower with rain. Showerhead and ample towels. Large TV. Easy to work. Delicious breakfast and coffee are included. Chef makes omelettes to order! I would stay here again, in a heartbeat!

We stayed for 11 nights. Pros: laundry facilities, ice machines, free parking, and good size rooms. Cons: On 3 mornings, our room was missed for room service entirely. We had to go to the front desk to ask for clean towels. Don't bother with breakfast. The girl making omelets at breakfast was on the surly side. When asked if there were bowls for the oatmeal, her response was, "No, breakfast started at 6:00 a.m. It is now 9:00 a.m." When my husband stated, "I thought breakfast was until 9:30." Her response was "Use some common sense-just use a coffee cup for the oatmeal." There seemed to be no Omelet service on Saturday @ 9:00 a.m. even though breakfast is extended to 10 a.m. on weekends. Breakfast items were not refreshed throughout the morning. We usually just went out to a restaurant for breakfast. The pool was disgusting. The water was green and cloudy with a slimey film on the surface. When looking down into the water, the bottom of the pool was not visible through the cloudy, green water.

We arrived after driving from Atlanta to be told that our RESERVED 1BR suite with 2 Queens had been changed to a regular rm with 2 Queens. We chose this hotel SPECIFICALLY b/c one of us had zoom meetings and needed a separate room with a door for that reason. The reason given by the manager on duty, Jailani is that the person who had the room before us checked out & checked back in. What??? When I asked WHY this was allowed if WE had a reservation she had no good explanation. She also had no explanation for why we were not called and given advanced notice so we could find an alternative BEFORE we got there. She said she had only known for an hour. That’s an hour during which she could have called us. So after driving from GA to IL we arrived and had to call other hotels to search for accommodations on a Sunday night after driving all day! My husband and I travel EXTENSIVELY and often. We usually stick with Marriott & Hilton, but tried Hyatt because they offered such spacious suites I have NEVER experienced service this poor, with such a ridiculous explanation. She offered to discount the smaller room which we declined because the discount did not address our space issue. We asked for a 2nd small room, for the inconvenience. We were told that was NOT an option she could grant. She told us that Hyatt prioritizes the customer that is already there over the one that is arriving, and that’s why the person was allowed to check back in and extend their stay. In fairness, she did offer to help us call other properties. We finally found a location 20 minutes away, putting us even FURTHER from the activities we came to Chicago to attend. This whole experience is an insane commentary on how Hyatt treats its customers. June 2023

Great find during our recent spring break trip! We are happy with the complementary breakfast and they even have a fresh omelet station in the morning! The staff is super friendly with our needs. There was a false fire alarm very early in the morning; I wish the staff would take it just a little more seriously in explaining what happened.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Stayed here while I had work done on my house and it was great! Mini apartment with kitchenette and living area. This place has a pool that closes at 10pm every night and a gym that is open 24/7. The complimentary breakfast was great and fresh omelette's to order. The staff made our stay great and big thumbs up to the front desk staff who always had a smile on their face and greeted us happily every morning and evening.

I booked a room here from 9/27 - 10/1 to rest after a surgical procedure thinking this would be one of the higher end hotels in a nicer neighborhood but had a negative experience. Here were our issues: 1. The remote for the TV was missing in the living room so we had to pack up and move to another room because they didn’t have a solution for this 2. The new room had dried blood on the sheets which was disgusting. We didn’t catch this until the night before we had to leave so housekeeping wasn’t much help. We just put the sheet on the floor after double checking for bed bugs 3. EVERY MORNING of my stay there were barking dogs that were barking nonstop. On our second to last morning we had to complain to the manager who finally did something about it. Dogs were left in their hotel room alone and were freaked out by the noises in the hallway causing them to bark nonstop. For the price of $210 + taxes per night, we didn’t get our money’s worth and felt really cheated on 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. We weren’t comped for our poor stay but the staff did give us a Snickers bar with a card. Very disappointed in the caliber of service and quality at this hotel and would recommend others to find an alternative at this extremely high price point.

The best Hyatt place that I’ve stayed at. Super clean, organized and professional with a very welcoming staff. Outstanding all around - I will stay here even when my travels take me into the city more - it’s that nice, safe and comfortable.

Very friendly customer service, Very clean, the complimentary breakfast. Those thin slice crispy bacon was worth to wake up early in the morning. Very quiet, very peaceful. Plenty of parking space.. Plenty of shopping around the neighborhood and tons of restaurants.. including an AMC movie theater right nearby. 5 minutes drive from the hotel..

Service was excellent. Almost everyone there was very welcoming. Room was a nice, clean relaxing place for a week long vacay "home base." Loved having a full size fridge.

From the front desk to the room, it was a great stay. The front desk was so nice and friendly. The room was big and clean. Bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was above par. It was so good, we've had plenty of hotel breakfast and this one was so good. We only stayed for one night because it was close to O'Hare. Will be back if we are back in the area.

I booked a room a month before and I arrived at 4:30pm only to be told to wait because the room was not ready and that they were inspecting the room. I waited half an hour with my husband and two children, we were tired and hungry after our flight. When I asked why the room wasn't ready when check in was at 3pm, they didn't have a specific answer. After that, another woman came and said that she would give us a better room. That was really nice but all I wanted is a room I booked and check in on time. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. Two stars only because of the check in process and because the housekeepers come every third day. And after the third day they changed only one bed sheet and left the other dirty. The location of the hotel is great!

Hotel is pretty new. Still has that new hotel smell. Good location and easy to get to from either airport, about 30 min from Ohare in mid afternoon. Easy access to surrounding near west suburbs. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice bar area, free breakfast (I didnt have a chance to try but it smelled good). Nice sized room, quiet, clean, had a desk, and chaise lounge type couch w cute foot rests. Nice size bathroom, shower and good lighting in bathroom. Water pressure was fine but shower heads are not adjustable. Nice size flat screen w about 30 channels. Easy temp controls. Very comfy and large king bed and clean linens. Closet, plenty of hangars, iron, suitcase stand. Plenty of wall outlets for charging. Microwave, coffee maker & coffee, and a mini fridge as well. I had a pleasant one night stay and would consider this brand again for future stays. I booked thru Priceline and it was less than $150 for the night. I didnt drive but there is plenty of free parking. I think there night even be a pool but I was in and out so fast, I didnt dbl check. Be advised, there is no dining or shopping walkable but I think I saw a fitness center on the other side of Windsor. But I ordered food for delivery and they brought right up to my room. Would recommend this hotel especially because it is newer and my level clean.

I stayed here with the need for a handicap room. This hotel has amazing rooms for those who need assistance. The room and bathroom is wheelchair accessible. Unlike some hotels that do the minimum, they go above and beyond. All items are designed to be at an appropriate height. And an appropriate width.
