Very important labor history of our Mon valley ond the region. At present is a great art show with original work of three local different artists.

Just visited the Bost Building today to learn and share about the history of Pittsburgh Steel with my brother and sister in law. The history and artifacts really helped tell the steel story. We throughly enjoyed the experience and the helpful staff.

A well laid out and curated museum that provides insight into the steel industry in the Pittsburgh area, while highlighting the struggle between laborers and owners, and their hired henchmen.

My students went on the boat tour, Bridges, and I had mixed feelings. Half of my tour group had a wonderful time, while the other half was scolded repeatedly by one of the tour guides. She didn't like children being on phones to take pictures. She scolded/embarrassed one of my parent chaperones for responding to a question she posed that none of my students were answering. And she yelled at me before I even got to the dock to not step in mulch along the bike trail. If we had a different presenter, it probably would have been a great day. The PowerPoint presentation was great. The stem activities in between were wonderful. She needed to stop correcting kids for being kids and watch her tone. It should have been a fun day. We were lucky to have had perfect weather.

Coming from a family full of millworkers it was very interesting to see. Can't wait to attend some of the events there.

Very interesting place to visit. However, The amount of places your allowed to see at Carrie Furnace gets smaller and smaller each year, yet price of tours remains same or increases. Everything is roped off or entire buildings shut down.
