ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BEACH/PARK πŸ’―πŸ’―Pick up any trash that you have, be kind to everyone walking along the beach, share the trails with other riders, and make sure your out of the gates before they close them. The guy who lives on site and is the gate keeper is a super rad dude and had to open the gate for me after recovering a stuck vehicle and he was cool about it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A beautiful place for both sunrise and sunset. Today is all about the finishing of a hard day’s work. Enjoying the peace and quite while listening to nothing but the calm waters blanketing the sand and uncovering it once again, over and over, until the sun wants to take a break as well. So we close out with the day’s sunset.

Sandy beach. Many people fishing on the curved stone jetty, which is treacherous walking in places where holes have formed in the old boardwalk. Wild surf on the ocean side looks really dangerous. Calm waters on the bay side.

A truly beautiful place to go. My wife and I have made it a tradition to go to the dunes whenever we're in the Eureka area. Plenty to see and do. Several restaurants in the area to try, not to mention the immortal Samoa Cookhouse. Their food is to die for.

Cool place to take the family, buddies for ATVs , watch the wave or sunsets. Lots of room for the dog to run around. There are benches, trees and sandy coves. Check it out.

We love coming to this little cove to play and swim. It's super safe and not like the other side of the beach at all. Great place to teach kids to swim and to respect the ocean. At super low tide you can hunt for crabs and sea anemones. It's a fun spot.

I grew up coming to this part of the beach. Haven't been back for 11 years. It was nice to see the jetty walkway was redone. Much easier to walk. The beach is clean and it wasn't extremely busy. There were a few surfers out and some fisherman. Saw a few dolphins and a whale. There was a small restroom.

This area was so close to the Airbnb we were staying at so we made multiple trips here. Gorgeous spot to sit and watch the sunset and listen to the waves roll in. The beach was generally very clean, parking areas were not too bad, one area had a bunch of broken glass in one spot, but otherwise minimal issues. There are transients that seemed to frequent the one space about halfway down the beach area but didn’t seem to be any issue and kept to themselves. Great space for flying kites with how much wind whips through!

It was so awesome to see the families that were visiting and riding this weekend. We don't ride but we really enjoy the beach here. It's a bit of a walk but its very nice once you're on the coast. We always find something cool that has washed ashore from driftwood to seaglass. This time we found a whole tree stump covered in barnacles. Forgive my nail and poor picture taking skills.

Access to the breakwater has improved as continuing construction has improved the degraded condition of the rock, dolo, and concrete structure. Big gaping holes have been filled and sand in some of the gaps, though temporary, has made it easier to walk there.

This area has multiple use options. You can take ATVs through established trails, stay at a camp ground, explore beaches and get inspired by the Ocean on one side or Humboldt Bay on the other side.

Beautiful location with a shocking number of ticks. We took our pup to the wetlands trail and had to turn around immediately as he was absolutely covered in dog ticks. We totaled 1/4 mile round trip, and lost count past 30 ticks.

A nice escape to see views, experience nature. You can bring a quad to play in the sand. I saw a couple of trucks driving in the sand as well.
