The cutest little store with the sweetest employees! We made a quick one night trip to Trenton and decided to stop at Lars for lunch. The patty melt did not disappoint. We also opted for the White Russian fudge.🤤. It was so good. They also have gluten free, keto, and sugar free choices on their sweet treats and any of their bread options.

I had this place pinned on my google maps from Florida. I was highly interested in seeing what the “unique gift shop” would have in store. We stopped in for lunch on the way to a hike at Cloudland Canyon. The patty melt was really good. The roast beef on the sandwich was a great quality of meat. I think serving the sandwiches with a side pickle may go a long way because I felt there was something slightly missing. The service was fabulous. I absolutely loved that they were local and friendly. It’s obvious they are family oriented. I was greeted by an adorable little doggy and got to say hello to one of the daughters of the employee there. The atmosphere is inviting and a great place to grab a bite.

My husband and I got to stop in for lunch the other day. It was soooooo good! We ordered hot, grilled sandwiches that were amazing. Added a side of broccoli slaw. They have lemonade & sweet tea made for keto -friendly persons. The bread option was a super low-carb bread for the sandwiches. Also ordered a keto friendly peanut butter parfait that was delicious as well. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I even met the owner. There is a cute side room overlooking the mountains to eat in. We’ll be back!

Sharron and her staff were very friendly, and did a wonderful job explaining all of their keto and gluten free options along with their traditional fare. Everything was made with real ingredients and tasted wonderful!! Many dried foods and sugar free/keto friendly snacks and products were also available in the store. They also had ice cream, although we opted for the hand made candies, they also serve ice cream and frozen treats. A great place to stop anytime!

From the first phone call to discuss a brunch gift I felt like I had the perfect team. All communication was timely, friendly and professional. The presentation, quality of food, and attention to dietary restrictions was greatly appreciated.

We almost didn’t come, but we are ever so thankful that we did!!! We love to eat local when out adventuring and this little gem did not disappoint!!!! Our food was delicious and timely!! They have fabulous GF and Keto options!!!! 💙 The little shop is absolutely precious!! Their selection of sugar free items is awesome and the dehydrated foods selection is phenomenal!!!!! Cute little gifts and locally made soaps!!! So fun!! We came home with a selection of Rebel Ice Cream and SF cheesecake!!! 😁 We will definitely be going back!!!

Uncle Lar's Outpost rocked catering our Independence Day Party at Lookout Mountain Flight Park! We had so many compliments on presentation and the large variety of foods available which allowed our guests to come back for seconds. We were extremely impressed with the presentation of the dishes and outstanding communication/professionalism. This is a big event in our community and we felt calmer knowing we were in good hands for all our food needs. Thank you Uncle Lar's for doing such a fantastic job!

We just stopped by for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this place is! The food was super tasty and there were plenty opportunities to eat healthy. Service was exceptional with the staff being so sweet and sincere. They offer lots of local goodies including their sugar free and low carb deserts that look incredible! I will definitely be back to pick some up before heading home!
