👍👍 I'd argue this is probably the best place on DC for coffee, if you're into coffee especially. The attention to detail, the presentation of the coffee, the ceramic cup all added to my ultimate coffee pleasure. And the coffee itself, I had a geisha pour over, which was delicious, perfectly brewed, nut... People often mention coffee, Unido, service,

Really good coffee. The space is really cute and sort of sets it apart from the rest of La Cosecha. Love the neutral tones with old rustic tiling. They have this Geisha coffee which is 11/12 for a super floral coffee that is a Panama specialty according to the barista. I'd definitely come with others to order that. I got an Americano, that was small for the price imo. It's just one shot of espresso, but really good.

The attention to detail, the presentation of the coffee, the ceramic cup all added to my ultimate coffee pleasure. And the coffee itself, I had a geisha pour over, which was delicious, perfectly brewed, nutty and chocolatey flavors and just an absolute pleasure. If you haven't been, you must, it's worth traveling for.

During my visit to Cafe Unido at Union Market, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of their coffee. Their Spiced Manzana Latte, in particular, was a standout for me. The balance of flavors was perfect, I appreciated the unique blend of apple and spices. The coffee as a whole was rich, smooth, and full of flavor, indicative of the care and high-quality beans that went into every cup. I also found the atmosphere of the cafe to be warm and inviting, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, offering great suggestions for other drinks to try. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Unido to anyone looking for an excellent cup of coffee. The Spiced Manzana Latte was certainly a highlight for me, and I look forward to visiting again and exploring more of their menu.

Had the best specialty latte which was their Fall flavor. I don't usually like flavored lattes but wanted a little sweetness, just not as far as a cookie or pastry. This was perfect! Just barely sweet, and the perfect amount of spice. Didn't overwhelm the coffee. But even better was the service. Nicest barista. I could have talked to him all afternoon. Highly recommended!

I had a short but quite wonderful time at Unido. I had the 3rd Place Best of Panama 2021 Washed Geisha produced by the Hartmann Family as a Pour Over and it was absolutely Fantastic. Obviously the Barista was doing a great Job and was Very Friendly too. If I‘d live in DC, this would be definitely one of my Go To Coffee Spots. Thank You Unido!

Located in the heart of Union Market, Unido is a hidden gem for coffee enthusiasts. They have everything from cold brew, iced lattes and cappuccinos. Their baked goods looked delicious, too. Service was warm and friendly!

We entered the cafe space between 1- 1:20pm on a Friday afternoon (February 2, 2024) It was not busy at all. I was the only person at the counter. While the barista did something over by the espresso machine and didn’t even acknowledge me, I waited a good 2 minutes. Then she looked up, made eye contact and apparently uninterested in taking my order continued to “do” whatever she was doing, without verbally acknowledging or signing any indication that she would attend to me at any point. I found that incredibly rude and unwelcoming. For whoever the manager or owner of this place is, you should realize that in this small space of Union Market, there are MANY choices for quality coffee offerings. I happen to be a coffee aficionado, as I have worked several years for a boutique coffee roaster out west and attended several weekly cuppings. I have my favorite shops, but am always interested in finding the one place that might turn out to be the diamond in the rough, who actually focuses on the coffee roasting process AND exquisite preparation in a continual quest for the perfect cup. I am at UM at least once a week- I guess I will never know if that happens to be your establishment because, based on your lack of customer service, I won’t return. Please accept this feedback; it is after all called the hospitality industry for a reason.

Great coffee! I'd love to come back and try different menus. The indoor seating area is a bit tiny and uncomfortable, though, so you might want to find a different place if you're looking for a place to sit and chill.

Ordered chicken empanadas & matcha oat milk latte. The empanadas are made with corn and they’re amazing! way better than Peruvian brothers idc. The matcha latte was okay, 7/10.

A disappointing visit. If you like to go to coffee shops to do work and sit for awhile, this is not the place. Didn't realize it was inside a larger food court. There isn't really much seating and too much traffic in and out to get deep in work. The coffee was mid at best (ordered a vanilla cold brew, just got a cold brew but not docking points for that). I will say the baristas are super nice. The food is a miss though. With a place like Sweet Science Coffee just around the corner with great food and sweets, this place was disappointing. The cookies were extremely hard and not good. I recommend this place if you need a quick coffee to-go.

I’ve lived by UM for 6+ months and have tried all the coffee spots except for this. Boy have I been missing out! I think the best if you’re looking for a latte or espresso. Their flavored lattes are delicious & unique

A super cute coffee shop in La Cosecha. This is definitely a place for lovers of fine coffee... it tastes STRONG. There is a very tiny seating area right in front of the counter but you have all of the La Cosecha area to sit in as well.

I give 2 for coffee taste and cero for service. The guys/gala there are always in a bad mood, they always mess up my order or tell me they have something and they actually dont and give me whatever the hell they want, when I ask they just say thats what it is. I mean if you feel so miserable working there dont work there and give the worst service ever.

If you're looking for great coffee while in DC, then head over to Cafe Unido at the La Cosecha Union Market. Great service, cool vibe, and I ordered one of the best cold brew coffees I've ever tasted! Highly recommend checking this place out!
