Great place to get some authentic tasting food. However, their tandoori roti, even though came straight out of the tandoor, was very hard and after few minutes became really hard and chewy. However, among other options, this was the best!!

It was our first visit but Worst Experience, we order minimum food just to avoid any wastage, But unfortunately 65% food was wastage, they are horrible, it’s not worth spending money, Zero value, No Quality, No taste, uncooked food, Ac out of order, super hot, Even it’s not worth to rate them one star ⭐️

The biryani is awesome. The taste is spicy compared to other biryanis in town but that's what makes them special. Few car parking in front if you are lucky enough. The first floor which was used for families is temporarily closed but families can enjoy indoor at ground floor with partitions. Other than biryani the taste is also good.

Lovely atmosphere with high quality food near haram. Lovely biryani, nihari and haleem....can't beat it. Famous Pakistani food chain. Good Biryani but too spicy. Family place available upstairs. Other Pakistani cuisines also available. It's a good place to eat Pakistani cuisines at affordable prices. Nice dine in with take away facility. Two dining halls, one for family which is separately designed at first floor and other for singles and groups at ground floor. Staff is nice and cooperative. In short an excellent place to dine out.

Had to wait during prayer time they locked the restaurant like a bank and dead dark seems on power saving mode. Too much flies and mosquitoes. The persons at the cashier was blaming that due to rain when they didn't opened the air curtains. Food was as ordered but kharai was cold and biryani was great taste and spicy as ordered. Couldn't finish the food and betin several times by mosquitoes. Very unpleasant experience.

The resturaunt is located a bit far off from Haram but offers the same old Karachi Student Biryani taste. Definitely worth eating...

This Branch will ruine the name of students biryani, they are saving mony by not running air conditioner properly, very bad hygiene, flies were moving around. Food, I ordered Biryani, Reshmi kabab, chicken Tikka, and dall mash. Biryani was Good in taste, they don't know how to make reshmi kabab, it was salty and meat was very dry, could not eat. Dall mash was average, but no salt was there, and chicken Tikka were worse and taste less. in my opinion they don't have professional cooks. All these points were informed to man on counter, but his response was just normal, he didn't feel any thing bad. I will never go again to this Branch and not recommend to any food lover.

Superb Karachi style student biryani. A special food from Pakistan

Not recommended as I tried last month, taste is far away from Karachi students. 4 pieces chicken biryani costs 28 riyal which is not even sufficient for 2 people.

I always find myself coming back here over and over again and only for one dish, yes you guessed it right! Its their nahari! Super delish! And would say its medium to minimum spicy. They only serve it on Thursday tho, thats when u see there are no available parkings front the restaurant. They serve it along with a bread i dunno what they call it but I recommend coming here around evening time as they serve the bread fresh.

The biryani is still good. Wish the ratio for boti per chawal can be improved. It's good value for money. They can improve the lighting also. Warm white (yellow light) instead of fluorescent white lighting can create a big difference in ambience.

Alhamdulillah absolutely delicious Chicken biryani was just out of this world, chicken were tender, potatoes were completely fresh. Seekh kebabs weren’t my cup of tea. Came specifically for chicken biryani and left with a full belly haha

Pathetic food and no taste, i ordered daal mash and chicken boneless handi, when i came to my hotel and i found they gave me white qourma and food was tasteless, i really don't know how these hotels are running in makkah. Don't look at the ratings , it's a trap.

It was worst experience once again 06-03-2023 night, I took deal biryani and curry and it was take out. Biryani they put chicken pieces very small and not in good condition other choice was Qorma but found in my order at home, Karahi which really tasteless and they didn’t give cold drink. even I asked two times all order as per deal what availed and found response yes. Unprofessional behavior and no recommendation please avoid and invest your money and time in right place. Remember this happens with me 2nd time and it was last time with them.

This abiryani house is same as Karachi students biryani I taste their Hakeem, Qorma and Biryani, all the items were very good in taste as well as their quantity is very good as compare to other restaurant in Makkah

Extremely poor service, saffs are so idle that they hardly moves, they sit in a place as if nobody present in the restaurant and they don't have to serve anyone, once you order you have to wait ages for foods to be delivered, and foods no more upto the reputation it held earlier, quite mediocre below average food

Day by day quality of food getting worst and prices are increasing. There is no food that can cover its price in terms of quality. The curry that is made in the afternoon lasts till night. Roti is also prepared at Maghrib time and the same dried roti is kept till night, which is a very hard task to chew and eat. They charged 25 SR for their (so called thursday special dish) for a nihari, you can check the photo attached, meat was not fresh and lums of corn floor can also be seen and took 1 riyal of an extra roti, that too cold, which is fresh for 0.5 SR in common restaurants. Being a Pakistani, one goes out to eat on weekends thinking of having something good to eat, but always comes here feeling that money has been wasted. The waiter service guy their is so rude who is in a bad mood all the time as if he is doing forced work and doing us a favor by serving us food. This was my last dinner here with my family, Inn Shaa Allah. Thankyou

Good abd delicious dishes cool place no crowd but sometimes parking problem because the restaurant is on the min road ...almost everything is good 👍

Average Pakistani food in Makkah. It's only reasonable place in Makkah to take guests for Pakistani food. They have party Hall also if you have to arrange some gathering.

I order biryani & chicken karahi "deal # 3". Biryani rice are good as not sella rice but biryani its self not up to the mark as rice are like stick together not like seperated from each other which is must in case of biryani quality. Spices are good. Rayta is like a water .. must need to be more thicker. Chicken karahi, is more giving sweet taste as of more usage of onion and tomato or tomato paste. Sitting is not much comfortable, door blower fan not working due to that mosquito and flyes are coming inside the restaurant and creating environment unpleasent. Worst part but not link to food is that .. after coming out bagger is present which looks to be a perfect healthy young boy but still bagging which make the mood more dull .. management of student biryani has to also look at this matter. These are my review, any other person has right to give his review according to his taste and comfort which he/she use to.

Amazing place same as we have in Pakistan. Price is reasonable and staff is very helpful. Not far away from hotels at the main street . Parking is for first come , first serve.must visit place if u stay in Makkah

You dont get what you order. I gave money to taxi to get there bought biryani and honestly it was smelly biryani and not what i ordered. Such a big disappointment

I like student.. biryani is good you can try their chicken handi. Its also good.. but sometime o dont know they forget correct recipe... But yes most of the time it tastes same. So try it enjoy it.

Normally not good as compared to Jeddah and other cities but whenever someone complains then they try their best to satisfy the customer - but overall they are better than others in Makkah.

Only outlet if you need a real Pakistani taste, Despite of having dozens of Pakistani restaurants every here and there in makkah, Student Briyani stands out and maintained its legacy from its origin in Karachi back in 1960s All range available starting from Briyani, BBQs Traditional foods like Nihari and Curry and routine curries like Karahi and Handi etc No need to recommend all Pakistani knows it and automatically get attracted to it,

It's not new for us but we did dine in after loooooong tym ...so biryani was not hot so send them back to get warm but after that still it was not too hot

Tried chicken charga, handi, kadai. All these were very good. Personally we did not like the biriyani. Charga and handi are must try dishes here. Kheer was good too. Restaurant is spacious, on a main road, with parking for 5 or 6 cars.
