Poor customer service experience. Issues with cleanliness. Staff and one whole night to clean my room before check in yet I arrived to a swamp. The smell is quite strong and it’s not nice at all. The service is horrible. They cannot take one simple instructions. With the exception of a few good staff, the rest are so and so. We raised a complaint to the manager on duty. She tried to compensate by offering an upgrade. We accepted and we should to have. It took them way too long (more than 2.6 hours) to get the rooms ready. The service is slow and inconsistent. For your mental safety and positive spiritual experience in Mecca stay away from Raffles. There is the impression of a five star experience but it’s simply a disguise. Disappointed and won’t recommend it to anyone.

It was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were spotless and quite comfy, and the services were amazing. Also, the staff were so nice, they went over and beyond to help make our stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this hotel.

The most feature they have is being so close to AlHaram Bathroom is good, they have special place for ablution which is very nice The staff in the reception was nice The complementary fruits was good ❌❌❌❌❌ ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ ONE HUGE THING I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY DID The hair drier is from Switzerland so it has the cross sign on it as the flag !!!!!! THIS IS MAKKAH YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS KIND OF MISTAKES ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ i didn’t like the morning buffet , some food wasn’t even fresh The room i booked supposed to be partial view of Al Kaaba but they don’t tell you it’s being blocked by Almanara !! Only one car is allowed for free parking for each room, they charged us 250 SR per night for the other car saying even if you booked the most very expensive room they have , they still gonna charge the same price for the second car !!!!!! I had to ask for an extra blanket which supposed to be in the closet already We literally spend more than 2 hours trying to find the hotel entrance!! They need to allocate a special place for child care, i mean this is 2023 and families still struggle with this point Alharam is the most important place on earth for all Muslims and you got the chance to build a hotel next to it and yet you’re missing some of the most important facilities !! Why would I need a spa next to Alharam ? I need a private time so I can put my child in a safe place and go pray without disturbing. And why would i need two televisions inside the room ?? People need one thing in this place (to pray and worship Allah) not looking for a luxury lifestyle Give people what they need without using their needs For example We need borrowed umbrellas, disposable praying mat , dua’a painting on the wall or in notebooks etc Housekeeping is fine they are fast BUT you need to call and ask them to clean up the room they won’t come if you didn’t this hotel might be the best in the area but not the best in general

Best hotel in Mecca that is very near with Masjidil Haram. The service is excellent. The room is big, clean, luxurious. The breakfast had many variations of the bread, and it tasted good. Can even request coffee menu. Worth every penny. If I can make a suggestion, maybe security can have upgrade in their service.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Raffles Makkah. The service was exceptional, the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean. We stayed at the hotel 1 week ahead of Hajj and everything was perfect. The hotel is located very close to Al-Haram. Alhamdulillah for every moment in Al-Haram and may Allah accept our prayers.

I like staying here, the rooms are good, the food is also delicious, and I like the butler here, Mr. Rialis and and at the reception, the best are Ms. Ayah and Ms. Sarah. Hopefully she will get the best employee in the next month.

Booked 2 signature suite Kaaba view which were non refundable and tried to change the date due to health issues but the hotel declined the request. Normally other hotels help on such issues and asisst changing the dates but I had a bad experience with Raffles. Did not continue my booking with Raffles for following dates.

Amazing service overall. Treated with respect, room cleaned everyday. Ayyub the Restaurant Manager was phenomenal, his service was 10/10, everyday he would make sure we ate well. He would give us the best desserts and the best drinks and would send food to our room. He definitely made the trip even better. Would definitely visit again

Overall experience is fantastic. One day before check-in, hotel called for confirmation, and offered for early check-in. This is really A+ service. Food is great. Room is great. The bed is super conformable. The only comment is we have to wait for about 20 minutes asking for dental kit to be delivered to our room.

Disgusting service. Wouldn’t recommend. Had terrible experience at breakfast which we paid for and were then STOPPED from taking 2-3 croissants to the room. How cheap. Never experienced this all my life in any 5 star hotel. We are diamond member and yet such horrible service.

Excellent team , great hospitality from the Managers and the receptionist during the day and night. Rooms are super clean and the view was magnificent, Quick response to our requests and it was a great experience staying in the hotel. The hotel got all the things that a family requires, close to AlHaram and a mall downstairs.

I will rate 10 star for this hotel, right from the services to the staff. I have stayed here several times and they really make you feel like your second home. I must highlight about this particular staff by the name of Wassim. He is very accommodating and helpful. He is definitely an asset to Raffles as he is always around to assist you. Food is also very good. Will definitely be the only choice of hotel i want to stay when i come to Makkah.

I enjoyed staying at Raffles Makkah! It’s a beautiful and stunning hotel. My stay was even more comfortable because of Mr Farook whom works in kitchen and made my dream tea called crack tea! Me and my wife we all enjoyed it very much. I’ll ask anyone whom is tea lover to test crack tea made by me Farook!

The service of this hotel is very good and excellent. The atmosphere of the room is very comfortable. The location is near with Haram and easy for us to go there. The foods provided also suits the taste of Malaysians. The hotel staff is also nice. While at the restaurant, the restaurant staff like Mr Anshad, Mr Adel, Ms Rana, Mr Ashraf and others have provided excellent service. Thanks also to Mr. Tariq who was very helpful to Tabung Haji Travel. You and your team services is very good. Our group members also shared same experiences. They really enjoy!

Everything was great once I arrived the hotel. The service is very nice. Food is amazing. And Zaki from concierge was great help. One thing I struggled with is the customer service by phone. For almost 3 weeks before my reservation date, I tried to contact the hotel MANY times. Literally, every single time they refer me to Reservations department but they NEVER answered. I had to reach them by email, which they delay in replying.

Every time i go to Makkah this hotel is my top choice because of the top notch service and the true class of the hotel which can be felt when you enter the lobby and the welcome you receive from the hospitable front staff. Special mention goes to the restaurant manager Ayub and the chef Ali Asgar who always work hard to go over and beyond to cater to our needs whilst maintaining absolute professionalism. This hotel and especially the Al Qasr restaurant has become a home away from home and the restaurant staff are truly apart of my Makkah family who its always a pleasure to see.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. We were stopped for taking food upstairs to our room from the breakfast table which we PAID FOR. We were in a rush so we thought of taking some croissants to our room and they have some cheap policy which doesn’t permit that. HOW CAN A 5 STAR HOTEL STOP A HOTEL GUEST FROM DOING THAT? So so so cheap and disrespectful. Rubbish service and rubbish policy. Have stayed in 5 stars so many times Alhamdulillah but never ever experienced such disgusting service

The whole stay was wonderful in all aspects. The location, hotel facilities, room amenities, room cleanliness, breakfast food varieties and most important the hotel staff. All hotel staff were great and always smiling and trying to help in any way possible and daily checking on us and asking if we needed anything to make our stay most comfortable. It was the first time for me to stay in Raffles Makkah Palace and inshallah won’t be the last. Thanks to all staff from junior to senior.

Rooms are ok. Definitely needs better cleaning as bathroom was a bit dirty upon check in. The only drawback in this hotel and other hotels in Abraj Towers are those extremely slow elevators where you have to take 2 different elevators that will still not take you out but rather to a shopping mall where you have to navigate your through a packed mall just to get outside ! “ no outside access in any of the 8 hotels in Abraj btw “. In peak hours could waste 20 min just to get in and out of the hotel , something to consider of your traveling with elderly people.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 days it was an amazing experience thanks to BOTH MR MOHAMMAD THE DUTY MANGER AND MR MOHAMMAD THE OPERATION MANAGER FOR THEIR CONCERNS AND GREAT HOSPITALITY DEFINITELY WILL CONS BACK AGAIN AND MANY TGANKS FOR AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE

The Hotel has a very good location, little old but the staff is supportive , Reham has helped us a lot in our stay , she really deserves a recognition.

  • 4/5 Mohana 1 year ago on Google
When it's crowded, there's a long time waiting for the elevators. Service and staff are excellent. Beds are very comfortable. Toilet and shower are ok. Seating area, sofa and chairs should be better. The dining buffet is good with a lot of varieties. Although my suit should have been (Haram view) I couldn't see the Kaba, they told me later that there is (Haram view) and (Kaba view) which wasn't clear while booking. Knowing that even (Haram view) is barely to the sidewalk of the Haram.

An actual 5 stars hotel based on my last experience, Room is equipped with high quality equipment, service at a high luxurious level and clean. To add up, breakfast was delicious and offers variety of foods presented in classy maner and special thanks to Nouf for her welcoming and care for visitors opinions regarding restaurant organisations

Finaly good qulity in Makkah. Spent a night here with my daughter and wife. Hotel rooms are well maintained, bathroom items are well selected and service was superb. I need to stress on service as Normally it is horendes in makkah. Room service food was good and so was breakfast. Also what it helps that number of guests rooms are resnoble in number & floors which makes it easy to move up and down even when it was full like our visit. Diffently will be mu hotel of choice.

  • 4/5 Farida Q. 1 year ago on Google
Had a poor experience with check-in and the rules around restaurant reservation for iftar but the management handled our complaints with utmost care and that is very much appreciated. The rooms are great, clean and perfectly located.

Overall, very satisfied with the service. The room is amazing and the restaurant is superb. During our stay, we were helped by Awan, a staff who could speak Bahasa, he explained about middle eastern foods and a few of recommended refreshments.

  • 5/5 Emir R. 1 year ago on Google
Room was excellent - spacious, clean and well appointed. Amenities are what you expect from real 5 star hotels. The food quality and variety were of excellent levels with wide choices during all the meal buffets we had. But what makes the experience great here are the staff, in particular Rialis and Awan from the Al-Qasr restaurant. They went above and beyond in meeting all our needs! Keep it up!
