Nice hotel. Close to Haram. Staff helpful and polite. Rooms lovely. Not a big hotel in comparison to others. But well run . surprisingly keen to provide good customer service unlike most in Saudi! Breakfast needs work. Was a bit disappointing.

Wonderful hotel with really helpful staff. Very clean and cost. They also went out of their way to help us with our printing too. Thank you so much. Food is very nice too. Special thanks to Mr Khan from the restaurant who is really nice and welcoming. Delicious food with a massive variety. Thank you again Mr Khan. Keep up the good work. May Allāh reward you.

The location of this hotel is very good. From the hotel to the Mataf area is a distance of approximately 7 minutes. The antique style of the hotel, incorporated with modern technology is also absolutely wonderful. The little quotes here and there added a spiritual touch to every step. The receptionists and staff are exceptionally well trained, polite and respectful. The thoughtful calls from the reception, checking up on how our stay is going and if we are in need of any assistance made our stay all the more worthwhile. Not to forget, the room service food was scrumptious and particularly well presented. All in all, we had a wondrous experience at this hotel.

The only good thing is the distance from the hotel to harram. The service is appalling, I had to ask for paper cups and tea bags 3-4 times a day, they would eventually be delivered in 3-4 hours, no room cleaning service for days, no trash collection. Staff either doesn't understand english or just plain IGNORE you.I would never recommend staying here. Much better services at other 5 star hotels with similar price range.

It's a regular hotel not fancy nor you can rate it 5 stars. However, my stay was comfortable but it didn't meet my expectation as it showed and advertised on booking.com. The rooms need to be cleaned properly because I found dirty windows, the door has a greasy mark, and toilets are not ✨ shining. The good point is that it's near and they can help you to park your car in a public parking space and their driver can pick up and drop you at the parking spot. Overall stay is nice, but there is a lot of room for improvement especially the in terms of hygiene and cleaning.

I felt welcomed by all of the staff. I should mention front office person Naeem Aslam was always very helpful and resourceful person. Always had an answer for every problem. I should also mention one manager Muhammad Afifi, he helped me as the online booking was with breakfast for 2 rooms and I paid a lot. At the time of check in they said I do not have a booking with breakfast. It was upsetting. Next day he asked me randomly how is everything and I told nothing wrong except the breakfast issue. He helped me getting the breakfast for one room only but it was still a great help. Thanks.

I don’t know how this has a 5 star rating as it doesn’t look more than 2/3 stars. They don’t clean your rooms/change bedsheets, don’t want to top up on toiletries until you ask about 3 times and they kept dirty towels in the bathroom with brown marks all over!! And staff didn’t seem shocked when I informed them either. The rooms are so tight/suffocating , not enough space for suitcases or to walk around. Not the cleanest room either. Flies everywhere in the breakfast area (sitting all over the food). Windows do not open in the room(no key provided).

I am amazed at this hotel: they opened a hotel sales package, but in the hotel itself they are doing repairs which are very noisy, we all can't sleep.. We did take part of an anex room, but maintenance from morning to noon they continued to do the job, regardless of the state of the people who wanted to rest.. Where is hospitality as a hotel management?? Don't be surprised here, how come you're looking for money like that. Last night the water in the Anex hotel area was turned off until 03:00, if it's not ready and there's repairs, don't open hotel sales. Don't think everyone is stupid and be patient with bad behavior.

I had a long stay in Mecca in this hotel’s suite room with my family. It was a pleasant and luxurious stay. Haram is within walking distance of 5minutes. Special mention to Joshim from service staff who made sure our stay here was very comfortable every day. I would definitely recommend the hotel due to the location and my experience with the service. Thanks!

We had a double room. The decor is modern and stylish. The room is very comfortable and large. Good bathroom too with an excellent rain shower. The coffee shop behind the reception area has an excellent range of sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Nice shops for dates, perfumes and abaya over there as well

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days during Hajj time. The food was amazing. They had different cuisines and good quality food. Cleaning service was good as well. Employee Muhammad Saeed took our feedback and provided the food that we asked for. Everyone has good manners and I would give it a 5/5 experience. Also the location is so close to the Haram so it is very convenient to go their often.

It was a bad experience.. the room is not as clean as it used to be, the light is so dim , a whole big suite just light up with two bed stand lamps. Even at day light , the small window can’t do anything, so the room is dark day and night. Bed sheets and towels are very old, the didn’t change them 7 years ago. The toilets were clean but they need plumper to fix the running water on the ground. We asked for an iron, and that what we got, it was a big disappointment.

I booked last minute in this hotel for 2 nights and I really enjoyed my stay, place is very clean, room spacious, quite, staff so friendly and helpful, they called to make sure i am happy and asked me if there is anything i need to make me more comfortable 😍, also the place is not far from Haram only 900m which is really great specially when the weather is nice, i was lucky it was very nice cool weather at night. I recommend this hotel, great value for the price and location. Thanks and hopefully see you soon 🙏🏼🥰

Despite the few hiccups, my overall experience at Ajyad Makarem was good and I would recommend to any pilgrim. Pros: - distance to Masjid Al-Haram: if everything else didn’t work, just the fact that the hotel is a mere 5-minute walking distance to the masjid is Masha Allah. Due to the proximity, the masjid in the hotel observed Salat along with Masjid Al-Haram. - room service: despite the poor condition of the bathroom, the room service was top notch. The brothers who came to clean our rooms were nice and friendly. They also tended to every of our needs despite their limited English ability. - food service: I would spend any amount to have a taste of the sweets and desserts served at every Iftar and Sahur in the hotel’s dining hall. You need to have paid for this service, and I can assure you that’s it’s worth your penny! Cons: - bathroom not kept in best shape: from the very first day when we checked in, we’ve had a problem with this. The room service guys only refill the supplies and don’t do any actual cleaning. The pictures will speak for themselves. - the wifi connection in annex building: terrible! Unless you come out of the rooms to the corridor, the wifi is really just a pain. - the doors: again, this is an issue with the rooms in the annex. We spend close to 10 mins trying to swipe the keycard through sometimes before the door finally clicks open. No matter how many times we recharge the card, it’s just the same. This is a long review and I hope you read till the end. Nothing except Allah is perfect, and on that note, I recommend this hotel if you’re in Makkah. Salam!

Hello, I have a question I would like to ask. I am planning to book the superior king room, however, the room looks very small in the images compared to the superior double room. Is the room big or small? Does the room have walking space around the bed or is there barely any space? I cannot seem to tell. Please let me know ASAP.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Booked two rooms and both rooms were extremely filthy and there were so many problems for e.g. toilet is broken and water level in the toilet was very high. Duvets and pillows had stains on them and the staff members are very unprofessional, unhelpful and of no use at all! Also the showers rarely work and the lock on the doors do not work at all. In addition to this, we have verbalised our issues to the receptionists in hopes of speaking to a manager. However the manager is yet to be seen. Not only have we asked for help and customer service multiple times at the main receptionist but we have expressed how tedious and revolting this whole experience had become. P.s forgot to add that the WiFi signal is appalling

Amirul Islam Is the best house keeper in the hotel. He has made my stay very pleasurable and enjoyable. 10/10 I would come back to this hotel again. Amirul would always make me and my friends laugh in the morning as he would do his daily rounds. May Allah bless him

Spacious and comfortable room. Hotel is within walking distance to Masjidil Haram and Safwa towers, which is very convenient. Staffs are friendly and willing to help. They even made the effort to call daily to make sure everything is in order. WiFi is available.

Breakfast was very good as there was a great range of food, there was also an on sit cafe which served very nice iced lattes - the staff were also very friendly and polite. We had the deluxe suite which was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. However the bathroom was not the best and the sink was missing the plug and you could see all the dirt inside and also the shower screens and floor had some limescale built up but not sure if this was just the material of the screen or poor cleaning The distance from the haram was around a 5 minute walk and had easy access to the gate where you could easily go down some stairs to the actual Kaaba and complete your tawafs. Food options around the hotel were limited, I tended to get food from the food courts in the clock tower which is probably a 10 minute walk.

The quadruple room they gave us wasn't the same as shown on the website. The room was very congested, air-conditioner wasn't working properly, there was no exhaust fan in the toilet, shower wall was moulded, even there was a door handle just above the pillow of one of the beds. But all the service providing personnel are very nice and cordial. Their best service is to drop off and pickup from the free parking area, by the hotel's own SUV, 24/7.

We were with The Al Safa Hajj & Umrah Tour Pune Maharashtra. MAKAREM is the Excellent hotel. Great service. The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast lunch dinner was delicious and with many choices. It was a very wide buffet spread. The people working for house keeping section were very helpful & kind. The location is great- very near to Haram Sharif (5 min walking distance). I would recommend to all, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Makkah inshallah.

Currently staying here. We have a four bed suite sharing with fellow travellers. The ambiance is great, the entrance stylish. The zamzam café has a large variety of cuisine to offer. Close to the haram as well. Gets a little crowded outside at salah times but hey, that's what we're all here for. Great place to stay. Highly recommended

‏First of all, I thank all the hotel staff for their good treatment and kindness and the beautiful reception. My experience is very, very excellent. The services are excellent, the cleanliness is very excellent. The staff are friendly. The ease of entry and exit procedures is not very far from the Haram. Of course, I will revisit. Elaf & Hanouf

Huge disappointment for the price paid. The hotel is supposed to be 5 stars but the experience was of a hotel of less than 1 star. The room was so dirty and dusty. There were 2 restaurants and the Moroccan group was sent to restaurant B where the food was mediocre. We had to protest for the food to be improved. The food in the second restaurant was so much better. The room service was mediocre, the staff was impolite. I had to protest and make scene for a face towel !!! The only positive point about it is that it's close to the Haram Mosque. Over all huge disappointment I don't recommend!!!

Very close to Haram. Staff was friendly and very cooperative especially the hospitality of Mr. Saeed during breakfast. Breakfast was excellent all items were fresh. Everything was very clean also no issue for parking. If parking is full they will park your car after the tunnel and give you pick and drop facility.

I came here in group. Luckily my room is the best one while the others in my group were put in the other building (old building, behind the new one). The condition at the old building was chaos (the table & chair arranged like warehouse, and also no bed at the other room). Terrible. But the condition in my room was perfect! So i was confused to rate this hotel 😂😅

the hotel rooms are very comfortable, clean and the bathrooms the rooms are very clean. the mattress is also very gentle. but the cuisine services for the Umrah Indonesian pilgrims are distinguished, and the menu is less varied. so far so good 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Comfortable beds, helpful staff, some days there is a great selection of food at dinner, other days not so much. Breakfast options limited. not really 5 star. Overpriced, can find clock tower 5 star hotels at similar price.
