San Carbón is just on the side of Las Palmas, well located and easy to reach. We came for lunch in this place. The solomito steak was great and also the fish dishes are great. Fresh juices come in different flavours. What stood out for us is the attentive (but non pushy) service. There was even live music playing. Good location, great food especially the steaks, good price quality and excellent service.

Great selection of steaks. Fun, open air restaurant with a thatch roof. Very unique, very cool. Malevo San Carbon - 4/5 Papas Criollas Trufadas - 4/5 Steak was perfectly cooked. Very juicy and tasty. It came with a delicious little baked potato with creamy butter. Really good. The truffle potatoes were tasty as well. Great outdoor, rustic vibes.

Food was phenomenal!!! Service was spectacular. The ambiance was stellar. Truly a great experience to be had in Medellin.

This place was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good the meat was a little too fatty for me probably because of what I chose but it was still good and the view was so amazing that it tipped the scales for me and I'm now looking to buy a place in medellin. You have to be very specific about what you want and how you want it cooked. The meal for 5 came out to $170 and if you've eaten at a God steak place in the US then you know that's the price of a meal for two. I highly recommend it.

Great place with stunning ambience and food. Very good wine selection and the meet was perfect. Staff members are doing a great job and are very friendly and helpful. Just sound level during live performances is little high and makes it nearly impossible to have a good conversation.

My goodness. Mango shrimp to start, washed down with a refreshing tinto sangria. Tenderloin steak medium. Yum! Not a bad little ol lunch at all. Service, also was on point👍

Amazing time here. Luisa was my server and spoke perfect English. She really helped me differentiate between the different cuts of steaks and various cooking styles. I will be back and post pictures next time. The band was really cool too.. really good experience all around..

So far the best steak I've had in Medellin. The cut was thick and it was cooked medium with a nice pinl side, juicy and flavorful. There was an older man walking around besides the waiter and he was very attentive and ensured the service was on point. Highly reccomend this place.

Had a good night in this restaurant with several friends. The food seemed to be inconsistent with some dishes very good and others below par. The live musicians were very good. Alcohol is extremely expensive at around 5 times the average price, which I thought was unacceptable. Staff are helpful and friendly. I will probably not return due to the excessive pricing.

Hands down one of my top 4 restaurants in Medellin. The octopus is amazing, and the steaks melt in your mouth. The staff is attentive and always close by. Put this one on your list

Had an awesome lunch hear but was kind of dead. I would love this place out in the evening. It seems to be busiest then with a great vibe from what I've heard.

When visiting Medellin, our driver took us here to enjoy our first meal of the day. We got here around 4pm and it was already pretty full of customers, a good sign that the place is enjoyable. The staff was fabulous! I was the only person from my group who spoke Spanish, so the waiter took his time explaining to us what each cut of meat was, what it tastes like, and what it pairs best with. We all selected amazing dishes and sides. I would recommend coming here, it seems like both tourists and locals come here to enjoy great food and service.

Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Medellín . The food was good, plenty of options from seafood, chicken, and steak some even imported from the States. Only wish they came with more sides but you can order different type sides for extra cost. The dinning area was great, open air environment with great decor. The staff was very helpful and made sure to take care of your needs while dining even if they were not your waiting staff.

Very typical colombian steak house the weather has been great in medellin so our lunch was very comfortable since the restaurant is out in the open everything we ordered was great

Great attentive service. The place was busy but we were still welcomed and seated quickly. They have a grand space and the night we went they had a band with three singers. Excellent live entertainment. The passion fruit shrimp ceviche was super tasty and refreshing. Well flavored but no hot spices. The San Carbon "Barbecue" plate, sorry I can't recall it's Spanish name, had so much food. Lots of chicken, steak, and chorizo. All tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. My partner and thankfully split one. We also added beans, which were outstanding as well. The waiter was the perfect amount of attentive. There is a lower covered porch off of the great room. We were seated there and it was most perfect. We were having a date night so it was nice to be at the back of the room to easily talk with each while still being able to enjoy the live music and be a part of it all. Well priced plates! The drinks weren't as easy to navigate, but they have a tasty house sangria and it hit the spot for us. It all was very reasonably priced.

Decent place; had very difficult time ordering since nobody spoke English. Food was good overall but the experience was mainly geared towards local crowd that celebrated birthdays. Better spots around if you aren’t a local or Latin speaking.

For family or group events is a very good place. We went on Friday and there was a live band that played really nice. I think for sat is the same.

Service was great and very fast. Attentive. My steak (ribeye) was really good and the lengua (with the red sauce) my friend got was amazing. What stuck out to me most about this place is the AMBIANCE. There was also live music when we entered. A bit more on the expensive side, but was well worth the experience.

Amazing service and great food.. we were a big group and the servers were extremely attentive. They even made sure to make me a veg option for my meal. LOVE the personalized birthday song and balloons they set up at our table.. thank you for your attention to detail and for an outstanding hospitality. Everything my group ordered, we devoured. Definitely a must try for all!

Great ambiance with live music, superb service and mouth watering steaks. Our waiter Carlos was very attentive and made great efforts to serve us well. We went on Valentines day and the recommendation from our hotel for the place to go for that special night out was perfect.

My friends took me there while I was visiting Colombia 🇨🇴 and the restaurant had some of the best food I had tasted while in Medellin. The band they had was great which made for a great time there. Looking at going there on my next visit to Medellin!

Fantastic steaks and fish.. Excellent sangria too.. AND the prices were good.. We paid 160k for two dinners with wine and dessert.. I will go back for sure. My only concern was the loud music.

Some of the best tasting meats in Colombia that I have had. The mushrooms with cheese were very good. Good live music but it can get a little loud.
