Hotel is nice and Oscar is wonderful, but the other front desk staffers are awful! They charged an additional $300 US dollars for hidden fees that were not disclosed upon check-in. They forced us to pay by locking up our luggage so that we could not leave to catch our flight. It was a huge fiasco, and we had to get the police involved to get our luggage. A refund is definitely in order in rectify the manner in which this situation was handled. As a group of females, we felt very unsafe.

I've stayed here twice. On my most recent stay, the room type I booked was not available, but they made up for it by offering me a special rate on the smaller unit. As with my prior stay, it was a great stay. Everything was clean and the location can't be beat. Three grocery stores and two big shopping centers are within a 10 minute walk. Poblado is only a 25 minute walk away and the nearest Metro station about a 15 minute walk.

I reserved for one night and had issues where I couldn't even check in. These greedy clowns refused to provide a refund even though I never used the room. I have never had a hotel do this before, usually they are accommodating and understanding in these cases.

Feel like at home with a professional and very helpful reception team! I am German and in this hotel group (Affinity and Novelty) since November 2020. I enjoy my fully serviced and cosy apartment with a very good cleaning service, clear security rules inside and outside for my safety, an amazing view on Medellin, a kitchen that also pays attention to your diet, if you wish and a reception team that is always friendly, reliable and helpful in Spanish, English and some even some German :) to help with questions. Simply ask them. Taking all this in consideration, I will continue to extend my stay here. Thank you a lot! Peter Michael

My partner and I stayed here for about month in Jan/Feb 2021. We work remotely so having a nice, clean and safe work area is crucial for us. We like to have fun too, so being close to restaurants, bars, & shops is important too. :) Included in our stay was breakfast each morning consisting of things like coffee/tea, fruit and croissant/toast. Although, some mornings bits of our breakfast were missing or the drinks weren't hot. But most mornings it was great. :) They did have a restaurant attached, so we had the option to order different items at an additional cost. Like wine... we ordered a few bottles which we enjoyed on our balcony many nights lol! For work, I upload a few videos a week and my partner has a lot of business video calls. Whilst she didn't have many major problems my videos did take ALL night to upload. This was NOT Affinity's fault, there was an internet line under the sea that broke which apparently caused the WIFI to be slow. One thing that was certainly irritating was the shower. Yes it was hot, however every 2-3mins the water would get very cold. We soon figured out to just turn it off and back on and it would be hot again. There is a gym/sauna attached to the sister hotel, however it is very small and does not have much equipment. So unless you just need a treadmill or elliptical, I recommend paying to go the the gym 2 minutes up the road. The cleaning crew stopped by daily and they were wonderful! Most days we didn't need cleaning, but having the option each day for a cleaning was perfect. The front desk workers were amazing too, always greeting us when we left/arrived. They helped us find things to do and recommended us a laundry service to use. To summarise, we had an AMAZING time in Medellín staying at Affinity. The room we stayed in was lovely with a great view, cold aircon, sufficient kitchen, and we felt safe. The workers were kind and helpful and I would recommend anyone staying in Medellín to stay at Affinity! The pictures of the room were taken the day we left, so please excuse some of the mess. The bed got so dirty and the internet was really bad I could barely use the internet but the room was okay with decorations but in the kitchen it had ants please fix the quality of your hotel

I love be capable to cock in my apartment. However there is a lot of room to improvement. The room service is going to the room too many times... just give me alone. The house keeping is not perfect organized, too many times I had to wait for them to go finish the room. The internet is a disaster, the equipment is obsolete or just is not working. Even the installation is faulty. The taps are not well installed you never know if this time is going to be hot or cold water. I like this place because I use to be there for long periods of time... but as a hotel it's not as good as it could be. The breakfast boring and the service again bad implemented in the concept. You have to beg for the coffee... And that's is a big fault. After 20 days... of the same routine I can't understand why I still to beg for it. The omelet is ok but you need to wait 30 min for it. ... well not always is so busy... The people is always friendly and that is a plus

Disgusting place. It is not a 4 stars hotel. Apartments are neglected and filthy.

Solid business hotel. Wifi/breakfast work well. Good views from the rooms. Staff is naturally nice/helpful. They deliver an above average business product. Pics are views from my room.

This my second time at Affinity but there were some things that unfortunately had changed seems my previous stayed, of course does not spoil the view, and location of the premisses is unbeatable! But I had prefer a higher floor as the street noise was not good. I miss the breakfast service that used to be part of my previous staying and few other things but overall was good.
